Chapter 43 - [The end]

Nate woke up in an office with peeling grey paint and a classic song playing on a radio in the background. He was on an old wooden chair and in front of him was a wooden desk with papers and lamps. He could hear the clock tick as he stood in absolute silence.

Where even was he?

Was this hell?

Heaven?

Adrenaline kicked in his bloodstream thinking and he frantically ran and explored the closets and underneath chairs and observed every detail of how chipped the paint was on a random section of the dull, grey walls. In his frantic running he saw the calendar date; it was January of 1949.

He was so far back; this was multiple centuries back! Looking through the papers, he's the CEO of a foundation called Secure Contain Protect or SCP for short. There were only a few facilities, but they contained the most horrifying monsters he imagined.

Like Kawasaki Moto, who opened his eyes to a red sky and a city that was red and black. His body was entirely black and his nails were all black with a sharp edge.

He ran to a nearby restaurant and rushed to the restroom and in the reflection he saw the head of a wolflike creature that was completely black with no eyes and a jagged mouth crawled on each end.

In the end, they won. But at the cost of everything.
