Chapter 1 - The Necro-WarLord of the Undying

The Necro-Warlord of the Undying was a Heavily Armed Lich who specialized in armored forces and resurrecting Strong troops to join his army. He was one of the first Cat-kin to join the Academicracy—an Academy dedicated to somehow teaching people how to survive and thrive in this forsaken world. The Academy had sections for technomancy and magic. The Necro-Warlord was originally a Cat-kin that decided to invest in heavy armor and weapons to prevent himself from getting hurt. It didn't take long for him to figure out how to turn his weapons into casting Mediums. Since wands and staffs use a similar method, but the magical circuitry relies on organic material to guide it, compared to the normal metallic weapons used. It took invading an abandoned Automated Dwarf smeltery where he figured it out. It took him a while since he had to make sure his casting magic didn't interfere with the enchantment magic. Since the Collision of the two would either quickly wittle away the durability of the weapon or simply cause it to explode.
