"Cici, we should pay our respects to your mother," Michael said honestly. There was nothing to hide about this.
But as soon as Ivanka heard Mussy's name and saw Michael standing there with Blaze and Cecilia, her patience snapped. Her husband and son were captivated by this woman—even after all these years, Mussy still seemed to hold sway over them.
"Michael, what are you thinking, bringing your son here with that woman? Don't you think it's embarrassing? I'm embarrassed for you!" Ivanka exploded, no longer caring about appearances. "Blaze, come with me!" She tried to pull him away.
"Go pay respects if you want, but don't drag my son into this and cloud his judgment!" she shouted, blinded by jealousy.
Cecilia, caught in the middle, froze. Ivanka's sudden push almost sent her crashing into a tombstone, but Blaze reacted instantly, pulling her safely into his arms.
