The sky with stars on it and moon floating ends. And new sky rises with scorching sun.
Ryo's room's curtains closed, jointed with each and he is sleeping in deep sleep making no noise.
Big black blanket, a rising devil printed on it. Ryo had veiled it on him, covering legs to head. Even head face covered.
A shine come piercing the room, going straight like line. From the gap of two curtains.
If not for Ryo's face covered by blanket he would had woke up.
Silent room with not a single sound going.
And suddenly something starts to vibrate.
On the study desk, near Ryo's bed a red colored magician drawn in center, the alarm clock started to dance with strong sharp, ear-piercing noise. That showed 7:00 am
"!!!!!"
The blanket was thrown in corner of room.
Ryo without intention jumped from bed in surprise.
"!"
Then his eyes locked on alarm.
Without a second to think anything, he pressed his right hand on it with not much force nor with care.
And the room was gone into silent for another second.
"Was this alarm always this much of a ear-killer? I am starting to doubt my own memories."
He took few breaths and stretched both his hands and legs to limit and shake his head left to right.
And rubbed his eyes with one finger and thumb.
And was awake with face too.
After taking a bit long yawn he went to his room's bathroom.
Looked at the mirror.
His blood red eyes looked lifeless, and his sharp silver Hari was full messed up. And expression of someone who saw their own ghost.
"Never thought," He said in light voice. Reflecting the irritation of alarm broking his sleep. "To think I will see my younger self not once but twice."
He had already seen himself when he had died and gotten into standard dimension again. Though not knowing he was already a 18 years old or he had borned again or just reversed age, but those things had been forgotten by him.
Ryo twisted the washbasin's null.
Splash! Splash!
He washed his face first and then rubbed strongly with towel hanging right side of mirror.
And he brushed his teeths, gargled and wash the face again and went downstairs.
"Not in mood to take bath."
Out of habit or instinct, he walked downstairs fast without looking at stairs, without risk of falling.
"Hm? Guess I am already used to my house. Or is it just my mind giving orders of old time without me knowing?"
Not dwelling much into same thought he went straight into kitchen.
As he opened the door and saw one figure more miserable than him appearance wise.
"Nii-san good morning."
Ryo said with half glance on Zarc and half on table.
"Good morning Ryo! Did you prepare the cards you are gonna use on competition?"
Zarc said while eating breakfast, sandwiches.
"Cheese butter sandwiches." Ryo said in asking tone.
"Yeah! Easy to make. Ray had to go early today to school so I said I will make breakfast. And you know dad doesn't eat much plus he would had something on his lab." Zarc said while eating sandwich.
"Yeah. And this goes tasty with chocolate milk." Ryo said taking out a cup with milk from fridge. And he sparkled chocolate powered in it. And moved it by spoon into spiral.
"Yeah but I eat with natural taste." Zarc said
"But while drinking chocolate milk and eating sandwich, it soothes the taste into more great feel."
Normally Ryo would have either coffee or nothing. But maybe it was another habit in work from his original world's living style.
"By the way Ryo," Zarc finished his sandwiches. "Let's go and do some practice with your new cards. You need to have full grasp of how you will use your cards with which way, let alone you have buyed so many new cards of two new decks that you have to understand each formation."
Zard said in very serious tone with serious expression. Looking straight at still lacking in mood to duel Ryo.
"I understand."
Conversation of duel by Zarc will stretch nonstop so Ryo just ended it with two words.
He knew Zarc's true self, how he was. So without a second thought he said whatever was right considering situation.
Ryo : "Why am I acting like I am afar from my family of these three? Have I made distance with them on my mind or was I always like this?"
Ryo thought he should be happy seeing everything ashe once sought. But there was a hollow feeling inside him that screamed you are not at right place.
"By the way,' Zarc said. "Ray probably won't be home until afternoon and I am gonna go practice for duel with lot of duelists."
Ryo : "Yeah... I remember whenever it was about duel he just skipped school but dad wasn't angry at him that showed how much he knew Zarc loves dueling even dad can't reject."
And Ryo had few days of holiday. Or even if he would be exhausted of load he would still woke up early, got refreshed fast, eat breakfast and already on way to school.
"By the way you had to go outside to buy some card packs right? You had used so much on your current deck and you are still gonna buy?"
"I am just thinking to go with my friend." Ryo said while drinking milk and taking big bites of sandwich, One after another.
Ryo didn't even know this friend of his but if he really had said than he had to go.
It was 9:25 am. Ryo was walking to the super market where he usually byed cards, card packs and decks. And he had used so much money on buying that "Destroyer" and "creator" deck and card packs that he had made a image as a customer who had buyed that much. And people of store had saved him as file in their mind.
"Around here."
If he had to buy cards he would normally does from this corner. And if Ryo had invited his friend than he had told to come here.
He turned his head left to right looking at cards and decks.
Without calling, the urge to buy more ignited in him. He felt maybe there might be a card he may be missing in his deck. Ryo know more than even the creators of those two deck that he had collected all the cards there were to offer.
And yet he wanted to examine his luck if he could buy.
"Hh! Terrifying habit!"
Ryo started to go thinking whatever it was. It was bad day.
And voice came.
"Ryo! Don't tell me you already buyed without me?"
A boy with white school uniform but brown hair bit messed up and brown eyes showed he didn't had sleep.
Ryo : "Who?"
"Sorry I am late but did you already buyed?"
He was taking heavy breaths. Probably running nonstop till here and hands hunged tight on his backpack.
"No I was just gonna sit around corner."
Ryo answered in straight way not wanting to stretch this conversation.
And if to understand Ryo the boy said.
"Sorry. But I had told you to suggest me a good deck and packs. So thank you for coming just to help me."
Ryo : "Is this mu school's uniform? Or is he from different school? I can't ask the name in this situation. What kind of question is it "what is your name?" He would think I am gonna scare him."
"That aside what kind of cards you want monster with different kind of effect or spell and trap cards that would assist you?"
"Actually I want both. I want a balanced deck that would also help to to summon monsters with monster effect as well."
He said with faint smile.
Ryo had said with straight, blank expression but this one is probably trying to make conversation through cards. Ryo thought.
"Then this one. This is balanced deck with all monsters and chain reactions with spell plus trap cards and there are chances that you would get extra deck monsters."
He pointed at a row of a poster with robot and machine monsters drown.
"Thanks you... can you tell me which deck set and card packs I should choose from those bundles? You have great luck."
"... fine."
Ryo thought if he had luck than he wouldn't had to use more than money he had to buy destroyer and creator deck.
And he buyed in the number of packs and deck the boy had said.
And the result, 8 extra deck cards with super and ultra rare and from spell and trap great amount of support cards and monster cards that would balance with extra deck monsters and help in duel.
And with no much talk and thanks from boy to Ryo they bid goodbye.
Even with seeing the boy actually face to face he couldn't remember who he was.
And Ryo just started to walk aimlessly and saw a certain park.
The park he was with Ray yesterday. And the memories with Zarc,Ray and Ryo playing as kids and their mom and dad watching them and Grant their childish wishes. Old days.
Ryo felt too nostalgic and emotional that he probably wanted to stop himself to remember those things which can't be returned.
He just go on and went to house.
He got at his house. Put the key into keyhole and twisted it. And door opened with no sound.
"I am home."
Ryo actually take a glance that if anyone was here. Feeling lonely.
And to leave this loneliness he went to sleep.
But of course he had locked the door.
It was 10:46 am
And he went to sleep with same way as night closing curtains, veiling blanket to face and lights off and fan fast. Making night like feel.
And the who knows when he woke up but he did and go downstairs without looking at time.
But then he thought to clean his face first and woke himself.
So he goes to bathroom and splashes water. And with napkin he rubs it on face. He felt his strength felt little strong as he rubbed.
"And then half closed eyes fully open and he saw on mirror.
Ryo had wore red T-shirt and black jeans but he was wearing different cloths now. But that didn't mattered to him in the slightest right at the very moment.
"What!"
Ryo splashed and rubbed his face again and looked same way.
"Why am I grown!? How old did I become?"
He then rushed to downstairs. But one thing was good he didn't slipped in bathroom as he was in full rush mode.
He heard voice from kitchen and he saw Ray making dinner, Zarc same but was actually studying! And Leo reading news paper.
"Good morning Ryo. You look in awfully hurry." Ray said turning her head at back.
"You sure are lucky Ryo. Your exams have ended and you got vacation. My exam are still ongoing and even after they end new term will start without a day off." Zarc clashed the book he was reading closed with force.
"Don't be like that." Leo said like talking with little kid. "That is just how schools are from next year on Ryo will also have to do same."
"I know but it kinds piss me off. No holidays means no duel. I can't talk with my cards like that." Zarc ate his bread with strong bite. And finished it in one.
"Yeah that talking with cards again." Ray said sarcastically.
"It's true." Zarc protested.
"Hey how old I am?" Ryo said without thinking anything else. The response they will give him.
"13 of course. What kind of question is this in morning?" Ray said taking a single glance at her little brother.
Ryo : "13 means I skipped 1 year? No I just leap through 1 year. Wait! Morning!?"
He looked at digital clock in kitchen and it said 6:39 am
"It was still afternoon." Ryo muttered.
"What are you saying?" Zarc said "It is morning."
"Oh yeah what happened at that tournament nii-san?" Ryo said looking for answers what he did.
Thinking his big brother had sked him to participate he wanted to know what happened. It was natural. And since time sure had flied he had excuse to say he just forgot what happened.
And the kitchen was now silent.
"Ryo you know not to ask! You were there!" Ray said in angry tone.
Leo was kind of nervous what to say.
"What?" Ryo didn't understand.
"It's okay Ray, dad I made that mistake." Zarc suddenly said in sudden silent, self-loathing tone.
"Huh?" Ryo was getting more confused.
"No it wasn't your fault Zarc." Leo said with worried eyes. "That duelist started to fight you even through he was cheating and you just protected yourself and your brother."
Ryo : "?"
A sweat appeared on Ryo's forehead.
As if he didn't knew but his body remembers.
"Yeah. It wasn't your fault that you injured him." Ray said.
Ryo : "I don't like where this is going!"
"But..." After a pause Zarc said. "But I don't know why but I wanted to fight him more he made me angry so I wanted to injure him more. As if to tell me even my dragons were telling me that. I felt them." Zarc said looking down. With depressed but not sad eyes.
Leo and Ray saw Zarc with worried and expression that was anything was happy.
"I did bad I know. Even though I don't feel bad I somehow for any reason just want fight more and more and even my dragons too."
"Don't tell me. Is this how it started? Was I! I was the one who connected and helped to spark it after all?" Ryo said loudly.
"Seriously what happened to you Ryo. Are you in bad mood." Ray said while showing sympathy.
Leo said in sad tone "Ryo don't you should forget something like that."
And then all around Ryo was clouds. White clouds. And before he knew it he started to fall.
"Aghhh! SERIOUSLY!?"
And got faster faster as he fall. And a echo like sound came and who spoke it was impossible to tell as the sound neither belonged to a human or a creature. But it echoed heavily. And Ryo heard it.
"Everything is far from near end."
Silent yet it was storm for Ryo. He got shivers as if he saw something that doesn't exists and never seen.
And the very next moment he heard shouting.
"RIN! I WANT TO EAT MORE!"
"Seriously I won't get my health bad!"
"The food you make is just that tasty hahaha."
Ryo without looking up or down left or right. His eyes still fixed how he opened, on celling. In house where he and other two were invited by three brothers.
And with a annoying written on his face he rubbed his eyes, growl of exhaustion came.
As he tried to wake himself.
