Aviana looked at Ganil, who had recovered, in surprise, "It's working."
Cenarius felt a strange pang of jealousy, "We just don't know how effective it will be."
Ysera: "Ganil requires too much energy. This single rain might only provide temporary relief."
Gale smiled, "That's simple. I can carve a magic circle and power it with the eternal holy grail to make the Arcane rain fall continuously."
The three of them stared at Gale in astonishment; that was a divine artifact!
Gale spread his hands, "Of course, I also want something in return."
Cenarius sneered. Just as he thought, why would Gale freely offer a divine artifact? With his merchant's nature, the cost would always be less than the reward.
Aviana said, "Anything I can give, it's yours."
Gale pointed at the thick layer of fallen leaves on the ground, "I want these leaves. They are excellent magical materials, and it's a waste to leave them here."
"Just that?" Aviana asked, disbelievingly.
Although Ganil's leaves were precious, they paled in comparison to Ganil's own value.
Gale shook his head, "Of course, there's more. I need a few of Ganil's branches and one seed."
Aviana looked at Gale, "Anything else?"
"That's all."
Aviana breathed a sigh of relief, "No problem. I collected a few seeds before. As for the branches, you can come and take them whenever you like."
Gale clapped his hands, "The deal is done. Let's begin."
He mobilized the Arcane Energy within his body, forming a magic circle in the air with powerful micro-control. He casually dropped it onto an open space, and the ground immediately turned into hard stone, with the magic circle clearly carved upon it. In the center of the magic circle, a stone platform slowly rose.
Gale placed the eternal holy grail on the stone platform, stepped back a few paces, and activated the magic circle.
The Arcane Energy from the eternal holy grail continuously surged into the sky, providing energy to the dark clouds. Under the control of the magic circle, the Arcane rain, at a specific concentration, supplied energy to Ganil.
Soon, Ganil's trunk rejuvenated, and leaves began to grow back one by one, gradually filling the branches.
"Yo-ho—"
Aeon let out a strange cry and flew into Ganil's canopy, playing within it.
Aviana happily exclaimed, "This is wonderful! Ganil is alive!"
Ysera looked deeply at Gale, filled with admiration for him. Although some of the things Gale did were dangerous, he was truly reliable! No matter where a crisis appeared in Azeroth, he would respond. No wonder Alexstrasza was willing to acknowledge the Kaldorei's leadership; having Gale around truly put one at ease.
Cenarius's expression was extremely complex. Such a major crisis had been resolved by Gale with such ease. Compared to Ganil's rebirth, the things Gale requested were utterly insignificant.
Gale took out his magic satchel and began to fill it with Ganil's leaves.
"Haha, these are all mine!"
There were at least hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of leaves on the ground. He could use them for ten thousand years without a problem! Such a quantity of Ganil leaves would be enough to serve as strategic materials, sufficient for several major wars.
Aviana said to Ysera and Cenarius, "Esteemed sirs, please conduct another inspection of Ganil to ensure no problems remain unsolved."
Ysera and Cenarius readily agreed; they also did not want Ganil to have any issues. Otherwise, the Emerald Dream would also suffer problems. Moreover, in Cenarius's plan, the natural energy produced by Ganil would be very important.
A few days later, an elf riding a reindeer galloped over. Seeing Cenarius, he shouted from afar, "Teacher, something has happened!"
Cenarius frowned deeply, "Malfurion, why are you here?"
Malfurion was about to speak but suddenly saw Gale, who was still packing leaves, and swallowed his words.
Cenarius glanced at Gale and said in a deep voice, "What exactly happened?"
Seeing that his teacher did not avoid Gale, Malfurion spoke, "Illidan Stormrage has turned the lake on Mount Hyjal into a new Well of Eternity."
"What?!"
Cenarius was greatly alarmed.
Ysera also cried out in surprise, "Why would he do such a thing?"
Gale whistled beside them, looking at Cenarius teasingly.
Cenarius's face was flushed. Just a few days ago, he had organized Gale to prevent the recreation of the Well of Eternity, and now his own backyard was on fire.
He gritted his teeth and asked, "What does Illidan Stormrage want to do?"
Malfurion said shamefully, "Teacher, it's all my fault for not keeping an eye on Illidan Stormrage. Since returning to Mount Hyjal, the Kaldorei have developed a condition where they intensely crave Arcane Energy, otherwise they become extremely uncomfortable—"
"That's Arcane addiction!" Gale said, "Because of the existence of the Well of Eternity, the Kaldorei have always lived in an environment filled with Arcane Energy. Now that the Well of Eternity is gone, the Arcane Energy throughout the world has become sparse. The Arcane Energy demanded by the Kaldorei cannot be balanced, so they developed a stress reaction."
Malfurion's mouth twitched, "That's true. I tried to teach them the path of the Druid to overcome... Arcane addiction. But in their state of Arcane addiction, their learning progress was very slow. Illidan Stormrage also helped search for a way to solve the Arcane addiction, but I never expected him to do it this way."
Cenarius said in a deep voice, "We absolutely cannot allow the Well of Eternity to continue to exist. Otherwise, the Burning Legion will not spare Azeroth!"
Ysera said, "Aviana has a few of Ganil's seeds. Perhaps we can plant a World Tree to cover up the Well of Eternity."
Cenarius's eyes lit up; this was indeed a solution.
So, he found Aviana and explained the situation. Aviana immediately took out two of Ganil's seeds, giving one to Cenarius and the other to Gale.
Gale put the seed away and then said, "I'm quite curious about planting a World Tree. Can I go and watch?"
Cenarius couldn't find a reason to object and could only say, "Don't forget the rules you set for yourself."
Gale nodded, "Of course, I promise not to use Arcane."
And so, he followed Cenarius and Malfurion to Mount Hyjal.
The Kaldorei looked at Gale with complex expressions. Many of them already felt regret. However, with Cenarius there, they dared not apologize to Gale.
Cenarius walked towards the lake filled with Arcane Energy, glanced at Illidan Stormrage, who was being held, and snorted in displeasure. Then he took out Ganil's seed and cast it into the lake, using nature magic to make the seed sprout.
The seed absorbed the energy from the lake and grew rapidly. Within a few days, it had grown into a towering tree, enveloping the new Well of Eternity.
Ysera arrived with Alexstrasza and Nozdormu, bestowing a blessing upon this World Tree and naming it—Nordrassil!
