Chapter 206 - Chapter 206 Deliana's Rebirth

"That's right, you're dead!"

Mejia mischievously created an ice mirror and presented it to the Lich. "This is what you look like now. How about it? Do you like it?"

"A ghost!—"

The Lich was startled by his own appearance. He looked at Mejia in a panic, "Why have I become like this?"

Mejia's mischievous plan succeeded. "I resurrected you."

The Lich was stunned for a moment, not expecting this ugly fellow in front of him to be his savior. But then he asked, "Why did you make me so ugly?"

Mejia felt it was necessary to explain what a Lich was.

As Mejia recounted the tale, the Lich finally understood what had happened. But he still couldn't believe it and looked at Mejia suspiciously: "Are you really Mejia · Yuehuo, Archmage Gale's subordinate Mage?"

"You should call him Your Majesty!"

Mejia said in a deep voice.

The Lich was clearly still unaccustomed to it. "Yes, Your Majesty!"

When he was conscious before, Azshara was His Majesty.

But with Mejia, that wouldn't do. How could Azshara compare to Gale?

"You should have accepted reality by now, right?" Mejia beckoned, telling the Lich to follow him. "I need to check your strength."

Arriving at the Forging Factory's experimental area, Mejia had the Lich perform various tests.

The Lich cast spells again and was immediately astonished by his own power.

"When did I become so powerful?"

"It's your body that's powerful!" Mejia had the Lich continue casting spells, but after watching, he kept shaking his head. "It seems you still need to study more. Although your strength has increased, your understanding of spells is still far off."

"Oh!" The Lich nodded. He also knew his shortcomings. Without sufficient Mage knowledge and good spellcasting habits, even with great power, he would still be weak.

Mejia stroked his chin, lost in thought.

The Lich's current strength was equivalent to an Archmage who used the Meridian Advancement method. In terms of raw power, he was capable of holding his own. As long as he could accumulate enough spell knowledge and improve his spellcasting habits, he would be like a true Archmage.

Thinking of the thousand or so Mage apprentices in Nathalass, Mejia's scalp tingled. How could he teach so many half-baked Mages?

No, he had to resurrect a powerful Mage to teach these students.

Soon, Mejia set his sights on his mentor, Delyana. Delyana was the mentor of Gale and Sethonis, and one of the most outstanding mentors in Nathalass. She had the most teaching experience and was also an Archmage, so she would definitely be able to guide these new Archmages.

Mejia tossed the Elemental Spell Codex to the Lich, telling him to study the spell concepts within, and then returned to Nathalass.

Delyana was wholeheartedly lecturing her students, completely unaware of the ugly fellow quietly approaching her from behind.

The students also didn't notice Mejia's presence, but after Mejia imprisoned Delyana's soul in ice, those students immediately looked at him and raised their hands, unleashing a barrage of spells.

Even if they only had one day's memory, they still felt gratitude towards their mentor.

Unfortunately, these spells couldn't harm Mejia in the slightest.

Mejia didn't even use his Frost Armor, simply raising his hand to bind them in ice as well.

"Since you respect Mentor Delyana so much, then come along with her."

He returned to the Forging Factory with over twenty souls, and then, under the Lich's strange gaze, began to create a body for Delyana.

It was still the same nether iron and adamantium alloy, but when filling the runes, truesilver was used.

After infusing Delyana's soul, an Arcane Baptism brought her to consciousness.

Delyana was much calmer than the previous Lich. Her powerful strength clearly indicated that she had already realized she was dead. So, her first words upon regaining consciousness were: "Is this hell? It looks very familiar."

"Apparently, this is not hell." Mejia bowed to Delyana, "It's a pleasure to see you again, Mentor Delyana. I am Mejia · Yuehuo."

Delyana looked at Mejia, "How did you become like this?"

Then she quickly saw the previous Lich and immediately sensed something was wrong. "Have I also become so ugly?"

She waved her hand to project her appearance, and after seeing it, fell silent. After a long moment, she finally complained: "Although I look better than the two of you, I'm still very ugly."

Mejia shrugged: "This is the best-looking body I can make."

"It seems you didn't study properly when you were at the academy."

Delyana looked at the student souls trapped in ice, "Was I also confined in there before?"

"That's right!" Mejia recounted the events, then said: "Mentor Delyana, the world has changed too much now. His Majesty urgently needs an army that can fight underwater. So, please use your expertise to give these new Archmages a good lesson."

"It's my honor!" Delyana exclaimed: "I always thought Gale was no ordinary person, but I never imagined he would take the throne from Azshara."

Mejia smiled. Delyana's words made him feel that great minds think alike.

Soon, Mejia transformed all twenty-some Mage apprentices into Liches.

Delyana once again took on the role of mentor, managing these Liches. She first studied the Elemental Spell Codex, gaining a general understanding of the spells within. Then she discussed spellcasting concepts with Mejia, and finally organized a class schedule.

She returned to Nathalass with the Liches, going back to the classroom where she used to teach. The classroom had collapsed, so she and the Liches rebuilt it.

Mejia listened to a few lessons and felt that there should be no problems.

Then he cast a spell, sending a message to Gale.

Resurrecting Delyana, Gale would surely be very pleased!

Not long after, a rainbow flew from the direction of Nordrassil. Gale teleported beside Mejia, looking at Delyana who was lecturing, filled with mixed emotions.

Delyana paused her lesson upon seeing Gale arrive.

"Gale, don't be sad. It's extremely fortunate that I can be resurrected."

Gale sighed, "It's still my insufficient strength; otherwise, I wouldn't have let you, Mentor, exist in the real world as an undead."

Delyana comforted him: "Strength is accumulated little by little. Moreover, the body of mortals has too many constraints. To be able to remain in the real world as a Lich is, for me, not necessarily a missed opportunity. Perhaps one day, I can replace this with a more powerful body and break through the limits of mortals?"

Gale nodded, "I look forward to that day."

He looked at Mejia and asked for Delyana's phylactery. Then he said: "Resurrect the main personnel of Nathalass as soon as possible and restore the teaching system here. In the future, this place will serve as a magical academy specifically for training Liches."

Mejia was overjoyed, "As you command, my Your Majesty!"
