Habron stared intently at Gale, shocked by the mortal's strength. Especially the spear in his hand, which was no weaker than the lantern in his own hand.
"How can a mortal possess such a powerful artifact?"
Lady Erythea said mockingly, "Is it strange for King Gale to possess an artifact?"
"He is your King Gale?" Habron asked, looking down.
"That's right, surrender obediently!"
Habron stepped on her, saying disdainfully, "No mortal can make me surrender."
"Is that so?"
A voice sounded from behind him, and Habron quickly turned his head, only to see a Rainbow Bridge impact in front of him.
Habron had no time to dodge and took the attack directly to his face. He was sent flying and fell off the ship.
The lantern dropped onto the deck, and Gale reached out to pick it up. He tried it out and released Lady Erythea.
"Your Majesty, this ship is pieced together by necromancy."
Lady Erythea quickly stood up, ignoring her recent predicament, and immediately reported to Gale.
"Undead ship?" Gale mused, recalling the white-bearded Vrykul who had just been knocked off the ship, and then looking at the Proto-Dragon skull prow piercing through...
Isn't this Hela's nagelfar? How could it appear here?
At this moment, the nagelfar suddenly moved, being pulled by a force to sail out of the harbor.
Habron jumped onto the ship, staring at Gale and saying, "Mortal, no matter how powerful you are, you will never be a match for a god."
"A god?" Gale laughed, looking up at the faint shadow behind Habron, "Are you talking about her?"
Gale raised his eternal spear, and the Rainbow Bridge broke through the dark clouds, letting sunlight stream down. Hela's shadow, illuminated by the sun, immediately vanished without a trace.
He looked at Habron, "Shadows can never defeat the sun!"
Habron gave Gale a deep look, then turned and jumped into the cabin.
The nagelfar suddenly sank, and once the deck was below sea level, it instantly disappeared without a trace.
Gale and Lady Erythea both fell into the sea. Gale summoned the Rainbow Bridge and teleported back to the Shadowsong.
Garrosh finally breathed a sigh of relief, "Fortunately, you arrived in time."
Gale smiled and said, "It's just that you're not familiar with that undead ship yet. It's immune to elemental attacks, but it can't resist Arcane attacks."
Garrosh shook his head, "Not only that, but we were also scared by that projection of Hela. If she's really that tall, her strength should be comparable to a demigod."
Gale secretly shook his head; Hela was much stronger than a demigod.
He remained calm on the surface, "Is her name Hela? She does look very strong, and that undead ship is too bizarre."
Garrosh nodded, "Indeed. Perhaps we should investigate information about Hela and the nagelfar, and prepare in advance, so we don't have another situation like today."
The mage suggested, "There should still be many Vrykul in Stormheim. The Kaldorei of Heda'shal have dealt with them, so perhaps we can find out something."
Gale nodded, "That's a good idea. I'll arrange it as soon as possible."
"How are things at Alpha Fortress?"
The information Garrosh sent back hadn't reached Gale yet, which was why Gale asked.
Garrosh quickly reported to Gale about Twin Ports and the agreement reached with the Bearman. After listening, Gale highly approved of Garrosh's approach.
"You continue to build Twin Ports here and help Darkmoon City open up trade routes. After I return, I will immediately send a fleet to take over Twin Ports as the garrison fleet for Twin Bay."
Teleporting back to Nordrassil, Gale immediately summoned Karna. Only Karna could complete the mission of scouting Stormheim; other scouts would only become targets for the Vrykul.
The Kaldorei had not yet finished their recovery, and Gale didn't want to start a war with the Vrykul because of this.
Karna accepted the mission and immediately headed to Heda'shal. There weren't many native residents left in Heda'shal, especially those who had contact with the Vrykul. Karna only gathered a few fragments of information before crossing the suspension bridge and heading to Claw's Rest to find the Vrykul's dwelling place.
During the War of the Ancients, the Kaldorei lost control of this land, and the Vrykul took the opportunity to occupy it. When the Well of Eternity exploded, many homeless Vrykul came to Stormheim, causing the Vrykul population here to surge.
The original Vrykul settlements of Valdisdall and Skold-Ashil were overcrowded, and the Vrykul had to find new dwelling places. Due to the Vrykul's seafaring talent, they built a port in the bay of Stormheim, calling it Mire Sea Port.
Karna didn't find much secret information about Hela in Valdisdall and Skold-Ashil, but many legends about Hela circulated in Mire Sea Port.
Soon, intelligence reports were sent back to Nordrassil.
Navoli, the intelligence chief, compiled the information and reported to Gale.
"Many of the Vrykul in Mire Sea Port come from the north. They have long avoided Hela's capture. Those Vrykul Pirates are the Vrykul of the Tide of Annihilation clan, and after being captured by Hela, they were transformed into brutal Kvaldir. Legend has it that Hela transforms Kvaldir in the Netherworld Abyss, where all the cursed Vrykul souls reside. These Vrykul fight each other in an Eternal Battlefield, and only the victors are allowed to join the Kvaldir."
"In the legends of the Tide of Annihilation clan, there is a god named Odyn. Hela and Axi were Odyn's left and right hands. Later, Hela became the Valkyries Queen, responsible for helping Odyn guide the souls of fallen Vrykul warriors to a place called the Hall of Valor. Later, Hela betrayed Odyn and established the Netherworld Abyss. Because she was jealous of Axi becoming the new Valkyries Queen, the Netherworld Abyss is constantly shrouded in resentment..."
Gale smiled. Hela jealous of Axi becoming the new Valkyries Queen? This legend seems a bit unreliable!
Navoli continued, "Karna found some records about the Hall of Valor in Skold-Ashil. It is said that the Hall of Valor is on the high mountain east of Skold-Ashil."
"Your Majesty, if this legend is true, then Nordrassil might be under the constant surveillance of the Hall of Valor."
Gale pretended to be interested in the Hall of Valor, "Is that so? It seems I need to pay a visit to our neighbors."
Navoli quickly tried to stop him, "Your Majesty, doing so is too risky. What if the Hall of Valor is hostile to Your Majesty..."
Gale waved his hand, "Don't worry, if the Hall of Valor is truly hostile to me, even if I can't win, I can still escape."
He took out Aggramar's Shield, "Don't forget, I have this too."
Navoli had no choice but to shut up, watching Gale teleport away through the Rainbow Bridge.
The Rainbow Bridge took Gale to the mountain mentioned in the intelligence report, but he found nothing. Let alone the Hall of Valor, there wasn't even an animal.
