The melodious sound of the Hodir's Horn reached Dannifernre, invigorating the sons of Hodir and filling their bodies with strength.
Yokum stared at Gale in horror; it was he who had blown the Hodir's Horn.
Gale sensed that the horn contained Hodir's power, divine energy from the Titans.
He handed the horn to Yokum. Although it was a divine artifact, it only worked on Frost Giants. Moreover, Gale had already understood its principle and could make one himself whenever he wished.
Returning to Twin Peaks Fortress, Gale summoned his high-ranking generals, along with Yokum and Aisle. The Ice Vrykul and Frost Giants had reconciled and were preparing for a major battle.
The Earth Spirit envoy Gale had sent out also returned, accompanied by an envoy from the Frostborn Dwarves. Gale spoke to the envoy about the Frostborn Dwarves' souls in Thunderfall Valley. Upon hearing this, the envoy was deeply moved.
"Thank you for protecting the souls of our ancestors, Your Majesty Gale. I will return to Frosthold as soon as possible to inform our king of this matter."
The envoy patted his chest and promised, "Rest assured, reinforcements from the Frostborn Dwarves will arrive here very soon."
Indeed, within half a month, the Frostborn Dwarves sent a contingent of a hundred warriors. Although the number was not large, it showed their sincerity.
With the forces of the Ice Vrykul, the Frost Giants, and the Red Dragon, Gale's army exceeded two thousand. While most were high-tier combatants, nearly a thousand were dragons.
Viranus brought back hundreds of Proto-Dragons. Gale had already assigned Heimdall to lead the Valarjar as Valarjar Dragon Knights, training at the Storm Temple. With Aer's assistance, they had secured the skies near Ulduar.
However, this force was still too small to attack Ulduar. He hoped Alexstrasza could bring back decisive intelligence.
What surprised Gale was that after such a long time, Yogg-Saron still hadn't sent troops to attack Twin Peaks Fortress. His strategy of besieging Wei to save Zhao, but not actually saving Zhao, left Gale puzzled.
As he pondered, he suddenly felt a tremor.
He looked up and saw a place to the south that he could clearly discern.
Who activated the beacon crystal?
Gale extended his consciousness and found it was an island, an island he had never seen before. On the highest peak of the island, a Kaldorei hid in the shadows near the beacon crystal, cautiously watching a camp below the mountain.
Karna?
Gale raised an eyebrow. Hela was quite good at escaping, only now settling down.
He summoned a magic map and cross-referenced the location, finding that the island should be northeast of Hovswald.
Shield Rest Isle???
Gale's expression became strange.
He wasn't surprised that Hela settled on Shield Rest Isle. Although Hela possessed great power, her mind was a bit unstable, and she might even try to reclaim Hovswald. Her choice to establish a base on Shield Rest Isle was very reasonable. Shield Rest Isle could block the shipping routes of Nordrassil, Darkmoon City, and Twin Ports, and it faced Hovswald directly. As long as she accumulated enough power, she could retake Hovswald, or even the Netherworld.
The reason for his strange expression was that he suddenly remembered that Shield Rest Isle had many divine artifacts.
Previously, he had always wanted to acquire powerful divine artifacts, and now they were delivering themselves to him.
Gale did not act immediately; he wanted to find Hela first, so she wouldn't escape again.
Soon, Gale pinpointed Hela's location. She stood in the seawater north of Shield Rest Isle, lecturing the Kvaldir. Clearly, she could not accept her defeat.
Gale thought for a moment, then had Aer summon the Valkyries and activate the Rainbow Bridge.
"Boom!"
The Rainbow Bridge landed on the mountain of Shield Rest Isle, immediately attracting the attention of Hela and the Kvaldir.
"It's the elves!"
The Kvaldir cried out in terror and immediately ran towards the nagelfar docked by the sea.
However, before they could reach it, Gale activated the Rainbow Bridge again, teleporting in front of them.
"Kill them all!"
Aer ordered sharply, leading the Valkyries to charge at the Kvaldir.
Most of the Kvaldir had turned into soul energy in the Netherworld; fewer than a hundred had escaped. Although they were also powerful warriors who had survived the Eternal Battlefield, they were far inferior to the Valkyries, who were blessed by the Holy Light.
Moreover, behind the Valkyries was a divine artifact providing support.
Gale took out the Soul Gem and used the Holy Light to transfer soul energy to the Valkyries. Like the Valarjar, the Valkyries' bodies grew larger. The soul energy condensed into a longsword for them, burning with fierce flames.
The Valkyries were overjoyed, flying to the Kvaldir and slashing with their swords.
When a Kvaldir was struck by a flaming sword, its body immediately ignited with holy flames, causing it to writhe in agony.
Habron raised his lantern, emitting a large amount of undead power to help the Kvaldir escape the flames.
Gale raised an eyebrow, flashed in front of him, snatched the lantern, and asked, "Can this thing be mass-produced?"
Habron's heart pounded. He swung his fist vigorously, attacking Gale. He knew he was no match for Gale; after all, even his mistress Hela was no match for Gale.
But he still attacked Gale!
Gale dodged Habron's attack, pulled out the Miao Miao Hammer, and, holding the rope at the end of the handle, swung the Miao Miao Hammer around.
The Miao Miao Hammer spun like a wheel, carrying Gale towards Habron.
Habron stared at Gale in astonishment; he had never seen such a method of attack.
Gale was fast, instantly colliding with Habron. Habron was a soul body; how could he block Gale's entry?
"Crack—"
A bolt of lightning pierced through the heavens and earth, instantly splitting Habron into soul energy.
Gale raised the lantern, collecting the soul energy. Then he swung the Miao Miao Hammer again, chasing after Hela.
"Finish them quickly!" Aer shouted, "Then go support Your Majesty Gale!"
The Valkyries sweetly assented, swinging their longswords even faster. However, they were not known for their combat prowess before, and for a time, they truly couldn't kill the Kvaldir.
Fortunately, the Kvaldir no longer had any support and could only endure the Valkyries' attacks.
A few minutes later, the Kvaldir finally could not hold on and were burned alive by the holy flames.
Aer silently let out a breath. It seemed she would have to train them well upon their return. Their combat power was too weak; if it had been the Valarjar, these Kvaldir would have been killed long ago.
"Alright, let's go support Your Majesty Gale!"
The Valkyries shrank their necks and quickly followed behind Aer.
After flying for a while, they saw Hela in the distance, stopped on the sea, with Gale blocking her path, flying around in the sky with the Miao Miao Hammer.
That looked a bit comical…
