Arthur found himself in a strange, mysterious realm filled with darkness.
At first there was silence and stillness, then Arthur felt a tug on his consciousness as though he was being pulled toward a particular location. The sensation came slowly at first, then grew stronger, like something far away was insisting he follow.
The location felt distant, and it was as if it had taken him an eternity to traverse the distance, but he finally arrived.
Arthur's mind cleared, and he realized that at the place where he appeared stood a middle aged man.
The middle aged man seemed to possess a terrifying aura that caused the space around him to bend to his presence. Arthur felt a faint pressure on his mind just from looking at him, like the world itself was wary of this figure.
Just as Arthur thought this was his summoner, he noticed something creeping behind the man.
The next moment, to his shock, a shadow rose up from behind the man and his throat split in two.
