Leon's strength was beyond anything Guo Da had expected.
With every stat of his body exceeding a thousand, that kick carried terrifying weight.
Guo Da felt as if he had been rammed by a truck going 120 km/h.
His bones felt like they were about to shatter.
His body was flung like a cannonball—
BANG!
He smashed through the wall, stones exploding everywhere,
and his body flew all the way outside the house.
He dropped onto the lawn, rolled five or six times, and only then barely stopped.
"Pfft…"
He spat out a mouthful of blood.
His internal organs felt like they were twisting.
His face turned a dark purplish color—he was in agony.
If the kick had been even slightly stronger, his organs might've shifted.
He would've died on the spot.
But right now, the pain was worse than death.
Just one kick had given him severe internal injuries.
Leon's strength and combat power…
Just how terrifying was he?
Even Dominic couldn't do something like this,
but Leon had done it with a single blow.
Guo Da's heart trembled.
Could a human's strength really reach this level?
Did Leon have the genes of an Indian wild bull?
Indian wild bulls were huge and vicious—able to kill lions and tigers in an instant.
Up to 3.3 meters long, over 1600 pounds,
and one charge could send stars spinning.
Leon stepped out of the house slowly, staring coldly at Guo Da lying on the ground.
Dreaming of taking God's Eye for free?
Ridiculous.
With this level of strength, Guo Da might be able to deal with Dominic…
but dealing with Leon?
Far too weak.
"You can't even block one kick from me, and you wanted to kill me?"
Leon laughed, mocking his self-delusion.
Against absolute strength, skill meant nothing.
One slap would end it.
Leon walked forward step by step.
Guo Da crawled backwards, terrified.
That one kick had shattered his courage.
"You… what are you? A human or a demon?"
Guo Da couldn't suppress the fear in his voice.
If Leon had beaten him after a long fight,
that would at least make sense.
But one kick sent him flying out of the house,
through a wall—
it was inhuman.
"Are you one of those super soldiers people are experimenting on?"
Guo Da shuddered.
Had he kicked an iron plate?
"You mean Eteon's super soldier?"
Leon remembered that black cyborg fighter.
"That 'super soldier' is long dead. Died horribly, too."
"Oh—actually, I killed him.
Two of them, in fact."
BOOM—
Guo Da froze, mind erupting like thunder.
He had fought one of those enhanced soldiers before.
A single punch from them could send a man flying five or six meters.
He could barely escape alive after using several grenades.
But someone that strong…
Leon killed two.
How could Guo Da not be terrified?
Leon's power had gone far beyond the limits of humanity.
"Since you chose to come after me first, blame your bad luck."
Leon's tone was casual mockery.
"So? How do you want to die?"
"Die your mother's—!!"
Guo Da roared, forcing himself up despite the pain.
He grabbed two grenades from his pocket,
pulled the pins,
and hurled them straight at Leon.
Then he turned and ran.
He didn't care about anything else now.
From ignition to detonation, a grenade had about four seconds.
Not long, but enough to get out of the fatal blast zone.
"Give them back to you."
Leon jumped, spinning into a sharp tornado kick.
BANG—BANG!
Both grenades shot back even faster—
straight toward Guo Da.
Accurate to perfection.
BOOOOOOM!!!
A massive explosion tore through the street.
Blinding light swallowed everything.
Windows shattered instantly.
The shockwave and shrapnel tore through cars—
some exploded, some were sliced apart.
Windshields detonated with thunderous cracks.
Alarms blared everywhere.
People awoke in terror, feeling the ground and houses shake.
Lights snapped on across the neighborhood.
Pasha, Leon's longtime neighbor,
was jolted awake by the blast.
She rushed out of bed to check.
Opening her door, she saw glass everywhere—
floor, sofa, table, shattered into pieces.
She was stunned.
In slippers, she carefully stepped over the glass,
moving toward Leon's place.
She saw him at his doorway, casually smoking.
Behind him, the fence and the front area were blown to bits.
It was a horrifying sight—
And beside it lay a charred corpse,
body mangled, half-cooked, smoke rising.
No saving that one.
"What happened?" Pasha asked in her pajamas, stunned.
"Middle of the night, someone tried to kill me.
Pulled a gun, threw grenades. You believe it?"
Leon's tone was relaxed—so relaxed it sounded like a joke.
But it was real.
Not a bit of it was false.
Pasha saw the corpse and the gun nearby.
Her eyes widened.
Someone really came to assassinate him at night.
My god…
What kind of enemies had Leon provoked?
"You… you're not hurt, right?" she asked cautiously.
"I'm fine.
The assassin… not so much."
Leon shrugged and called the police.
The call connected.
"Hello, police dispatch," came a lazy voice.
"Hi, I need to report a crime."
"What happened?"
"Someone broke into my home, pulled a gun, and threw grenades.
Nearly killed me," Leon said truthfully.
"Don't panic, sir.
Find a safe place to hide.
We'll send units immediately—"
"No need."
Leon interrupted.
"Uh… why?"
"The assassin threw grenades at me.
I kicked them back.
He blew himself up.
Just send two guys to pick up the corpse."
"…What?"
Kick a grenade back?
Wasn't the correct response to run?
Did he think this was an action movie?
