Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: Conqueror's Haki

"Conqueror's Haki... This brat actually possesses such talent!" Sengoku's pupils constricted sharply, his voice heavy with disbelief.

For someone so young to unleash such overwhelming Conqueror's Haki—this "Blasphemer's" potential was downright terrifying.

"Oi oi oi, seriously?" Aokiji, for once, dropped his usual nonchalance, his eyes widening as he stared at Bahr hovering midair. "This presence... It's way too insane."

Kizaru's light sword halted mid-swing, his lazy expression replaced by a hint of gravity as he clicked his tongue. "My my, what a surprise... To think he was hiding something like this. That power is downright frightening."

"Someone like him cannot be allowed to live!" Akainu stood at the forefront of the Marine ranks, his magma-like eyes burning with intensified killing intent, his voice cold and unyielding as steel.

On the eastern side of the battlefield, Hancock basked in Bahr's Conqueror's Haki, showing no discomfort whatsoever. Instead, as if caressed by a spring breeze, her eyes brimmed with adoration.

She pressed her hands to her chest, her voice trembling with infatuation. "Lord Bahr... Even your Haki is so dazzling... Truly, the man I've set my heart upon!"

Behind a broken wall, Doflamingo let out a shuddering laugh, his fists unconsciously clenching. "Fufufu... This aura... What a lawless beast you are... How interesting, how very interesting!"

Jinbei, usually composed, couldn't hide his astonishment as he looked up at Bahr. "So he had this ability all along... No wonder he dares to act so boldly."

"To challenge the heavens, such talent is only natural," Hawkeye Mihawk remarked from the battlefield's edge, the scabbard of his Black Blade "Yoru" trembling faintly. His gaze toward Bahr carried a newfound acknowledgment.

In his eyes, only such domineering spirit was worthy of the title "Blasphemer."

Among the Whitebeard Pirates' ranks, the commanders were utterly stunned. Marco hovered midair with his wings spread, his hawk-like eyes wide open. "That's... Conqueror's Haki?!"

"And such an overwhelming one at that!" Jozu blocked the airwave with his diamond arm, his voice thick with shock. "It's the same presence as Oyaji and that Red-Haired bastard!"

Vista tightened his grip on his twin swords, murmuring, "This kid... Just who the hell is he?"

"Gurararara... This brat... He's interesting."

Whitebeard slowly lifted his head, his clouded eyes fixed on Bahr in the sky. The bloody wound on his chest rose and fell with each breath as he let out a low chuckle—one devoid of hostility, instead carrying the appreciation of an old veteran for a rising star.

On these seas, madmen were a dime a dozen. What was rare were those who had the right to be mad.

At the battlefield's edge, Buggy and his crew stood dumbfounded, their Den Den Mushi clattering to the ground, the screen still frozen on the image of Bahr pointing his sword at the heavens.

Buggy's mouth hung open for a long moment before he finally managed to blurt out, "T-This lunatic... Who the hell is he?!"

On the deck of the Ark Maxim, the crew watched the figure stirring up storms in the sky, their expressions varied.

"That must be Conqueror's Haki," Nico Robin mused, leaning against the railing. Her gaze lingered on Bahr as if she were merely observing an ordinary spectacle, but the slight tightening of her fingers betrayed the turmoil within.

"Ugh, obviously!" Porche twirled her baton, her eyes sparkling as she stared at Bahr. "Boss has always been the coolest!"

Perona hugged her ghost plush tightly, her frown still in place as she muttered under her breath, "Hmph... Who knew this guy was so strong... What a surprise..."

The plush's ears were crumpled in her grip, but the shock in her eyes was unmistakable. That figure, sword raised to the heavens, was indeed impossible to look away from.

Paula leaned against the railing, a ripple of emotion passing through her calm gaze. Following this man was never short of surprises.

"I knew Boss was the best!" Miss. Valentine clenched her lemon umbrella, her cheeks flushed with excitement, her voice brimming with pride.

Mr. 1 stood by the ship's edge, his scarred face expressionless save for the faint flicker in his pupils. He clenched his fist, the knuckles cracking softly.

For a warrior, recognition needed no words.

Only Enel stood at the center of the deck, crackling with lightning that seemed to solidify around him. His golden rod creaked in his grip, his teeth grinding as he glared at Bahr in the sky.

In his mind, others having Conqueror's Haki was one thing—even his subordinates possessing such talent was acceptable. After all, in his eyes, everyone but himself was meant to have their place in the hierarchy. But Bahr? That was unacceptable.

Especially since this Conqueror's Haki had awakened before his own. It was a thorn in his heart.

He had been holding onto his pride, dreaming of the day he could stand tall before Bahr and show this man—who always treated him as a mere tool—who the true "God" was.

But now, the gap between them hadn't narrowed. It had only widened.

"Damn it..." Enel cursed under his breath, lightning flashing in his eyes. "Am I to remain beneath this brat forever?"

Amid the swirling dust, Bahr's figure remained unshaken, his Conqueror's Haki surging like an invisible tidal wave across the battlefield, shaking the hearts of all who felt it.

Slowly, he sheathed his Black Sword Autumn Water, pausing briefly as he rested it on his shoulder.

The overwhelming presence that had swept the battlefield hadn't fully dissipated. He could clearly sense the countless figures collapsing around him, could feel the stunned gazes of the strong.

But what truly shook him was the restless energy still churning within him.

Just moments ago, a surge of fury had rushed to his head—as if all the torment he'd endured in Impel Down, the Marines' relentless pursuit, the Celestial Dragons' tyranny—had demanded to be roared out. Then, an indescribable force had erupted from within, flowing down his arm and into Black Sword Autumn Water.

He had only meant to vent his frustration. He hadn't expected such a spectacle, let alone that his rage—pushed to the brink—would awaken Conqueror's Haki.

Bahr had fantasized about possessing such power one day, but it had always been just that—a fantasy. He'd never truly believed it possible.

After all, this kind of talent was like a gift from the heavens. It wasn't something effort alone could achieve.

Yet here he was, after just a few days in Impel Down, a few beatings, and reaching the peak of his fury—suddenly, this power had emerged from within him.

Seriously?

Sure, Crocodile had been weak enough to lose to Straw Hat Luffy early on, but after a stint in Impel Down, he'd gone toe-to-toe with Doflamingo, Hawkeye Mihawk, and Akainu.

Was Impel Down actually some kind of "training ground"?

Bahr clicked his tongue, suppressing the absurd shock in his heart as he steadied his grip on his sword. However it had come to him, he now had Conqueror's Haki.

It wasn't like he could give it back now.
