Chapter 46 - The First Step into Shadows

The Raichand estate had settled into a deep silence. Inside the private family library, only the soft hum of monitors and the rustle of papers broke the quiet. Liya Moreau, Rishika Raichand, Diya Knight, Rhea Malhotra, and Aralyn huddled around a terminal, their faces lit by the pale glow of the screen.

This was their first real step into the mission they had silently vowed: finding Mukul's lost siblings without him knowing.

The Photo That Shook Her

Aralyn leaned closer to Diya, her voice barely above a whisper."Diya… do you have any old photos of… Avni?"

Diya hesitated, then pulled a small folder from the archive, carefully handling a single, aged photograph. She handed it to Aralyn.

As Aralyn's eyes met the image, the world seemed to tilt. The woman in the photograph was unmistakable—her own mother. A wave of memories hit her all at once: her childhood, faint recollections of warmth, and a mother she had long thought lost.

Her head throbbed. Tears welled up, blurring the edges of the photo. She sank into the chair, overwhelmed."This… this is my mother," she whispered, her voice cracking. "I remember… everything. I remember her. And… she is Mukul's mother."

Questions That Could Not Wait

Aralyn looked at Diya, her voice urgent, almost trembling."Diya… tell me everything. What are Mukul's siblings' names? Where should we start? I… I have to know. She's my mother, and Mukul… he's like a brother I never had."

Diya nodded, her own eyes glistening. Slowly, she began naming them:

Aghav Ahir – Eldest son

Vivaan Ahir – Second son

Aria Ahir – Eldest daughter

Reyansh Ahir – Third son

Anaya Ahir – Youngest daughter

Aralyn's tears flowed freely now, a mix of grief, recognition, and determination. The mission had taken on a new depth for her. This was no longer just about Mukul—this was about her family, her mother, and the siblings who had been lost for so long.

The Silent Pact Deepens

Rishika leaned closer, her hand brushing Aralyn's shoulder."We'll find them. Every one of them. And Mukul won't even have to ask."

Liya added softly, "We start tonight. Every archive, every secret network—everything we can access without alerting anyone. We do this for Mukul and for Avni."

Aralyn nodded, wiping her tears. She straightened, her mind sharpening."Let's begin. For my mother… and for Mukul. We don't have a moment to waste."

The five of them bent over the terminal once again, the glow of the screen reflecting in their determined eyes. The first threads of the search for Mukul's lost siblings had been set into motion.
