Chapter 132 - The Golden-Horned Behemoth Appears

At Huaguo Mountain, Sun Wukong was excited.

He was just about to leave the mountain to seek the Immortal Arts and pursue the path to eternal life, yet unexpectedly, the very things he sought appeared right inside this strange chat group.

Xiao Li Fei Dao @Sun Wukong: "Exchange your cultivation techniques! That way you'll get points!"

Sun Wukong: "??? If I had a cultivation technique, why would I need to buy one from this chat group?"

Everyone was dumbfounded.

A being born from heaven and earth itself, a congenital spirit birthed from the immortal stone left behind by Goddess Nuwa after she patched the sky—he didn't even have a cultivation method?

Wasn't he supposed to be an innate divine being? How could he not even possess the ability for immortality?

Everyone had been looking forward to seeing the cultivation of an innate god. No one expected this outcome.

In an instant, Sun Wukong's divine prestige plummeted in everyone's hearts.

Sun Wukong: "Is this chat group crazy? If I had a cultivation method, would I still be here trying to buy one?"

Everyone was disappointed—and the one on Huaguo Mountain, Sun Wukong himself, was even more so.

He felt the chat group was completely insane. To buy a cultivation method, you needed points. But to get points, you first needed a cultivation method.

Wasn't that a complete dead loop?

Xiao Li Fei Dao @Devourer Lord: "Boss Jiang Li, what's up with my Brother Monkey? Why doesn't he know anything?"

Devourer Lord: "Sun Wukong is still isolated in Huaguo Mountain. He's never even seen a human being—of course he doesn't know anything."

Devourer Lord: "Though he's an innate being, it's true that he doesn't have a cultivation method."

Devourer Lord: "But don't underestimate innate beings. Once they start cultivating, their speed is terrifying."

Jiang Li @Sun Wukong: "You don't necessarily need a technique to get points. Those fruits you always eat can be exchanged for points."

Devourer Lord: "Here's the deal—send me some of those fruits, and I'll give you a cultivation technique that can grant not only immortality but make you invincible under heaven!"

Sun Wukong: "Alright! I'll have my monkeys gather them right away!"

The place where Sun Wukong resided—how could it possibly be ordinary? Even a being like him, an innate spirit, was born there.

His troop of monkeys and apes might look ordinary, yet each one could live for several hundred years.

Jiang Li remembered that the region of Huaguo Mountain was known as the ancestral vein of the Ten Continents and Three Islands—a land of endless fortune.

In such a place, even a single blade of grass would not be common.

Jiang Li @Sun Wukong: "Let's make another trade."

Devourer Lord: "Go find the immortal stone that birthed you. I'll tell you something that concerns your very life and death."

Jiang Li's eyes were already set on the immortal stone that gave birth to Sun Wukong.

Even though Sun Wukong had been born, Jiang Li did not believe the stone had lost all its value.

That stone must still carry traces of qi of creation.

Sun Wukong: "What do you want that broken stone for? After I was born, it already shattered into many pieces!"

Sun Wukong: "It'll be a pain to gather them all back up."

Devourer Lord: "No hurry for that."

In the Devouring World

At the coastal combat base of the Eagle Nation across the ocean—

The command hall suddenly blared with an ear-piercing alarm. On the life-energy detectors, countless red dots appeared all at once.

"Ah, shit! Another monster tide!"

Seeing the dense wave of red, the general on duty cursed, then rushed out of the command room—his pupils shrinking sharply.

"Mother of God!"

"A King-level monster!"

"Sound the alarm! Request support from the high-level council fighters!"

The blaring sirens echoed across the entire combat base, and the once-lax troops immediately entered first-level battle readiness.

At that moment—

A colossal beast burst out of the sea.

Its body was over two hundred meters long, resembling the 'dragons' of Western myth. Its body was covered in black scales the size of houses, each one glinting with a cold, terrifying light. Its massive wings, forged like steel, radiated raw power.

But most striking of all was the golden horn on its forehead, shining with dazzling brilliance that flowed from its head down its neck, across its body, to the tip of its tail, cloaking the entire creature in a mysterious golden glow.

And those enormous dark-golden eyes—cold, cruel, like a merciless emperor gazing down upon a swarm of ants.

It was—

The Golden-Horned Behemoth, one of the supreme bloodlines of the universe—the very Starry Sky Beast that had fallen into the deep sea before!

"Stupid monster!"

"Daring to fly in the air?!"

"Fire!"

"Laser cannons—blow it to pieces!"

At first, the soldiers of the Eagle Nation's western sea base were trembling with fear. But when they saw that the so-called King-level monster was hovering above them, as if looking down with arrogance—

Mocking smiles crept across their faces.

They knew well—

The power of their laser cannons and particle beams exceeded even that of planetary-level warriors. Even a King-level monster couldn't withstand a single strike from humanity's strongest weapons.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Three beams of blinding white light streaked faster than the speed of light, crossing the distance in an instant, slamming squarely into the colossal beast.

A burst of light erupted like a miniature sun, exploding high above the base!

Then—

The light faded.

Every soldier's pupils contracted violently.

Their faces froze in disbelief.

That giant monster floating in the sky—was completely unscathed!

"Wuu—ROAR!!"

A deep, soul-shaking roar reverberated across the entire western coast, spreading for hundreds of miles.

Whether sea beasts or land monsters, all trembled and bowed low under that voice.

It was an instinctive fear—suppression from a higher lifeform.

The monsters howled back in reverence, like pilgrims before a god.

Terror flooded through every soldier in the base.

"Damn it… that must be a Beast Emperor!"

"What do we do?! Our country doesn't have anyone strong enough to fight a Beast Emperor!"

"Quick! Request aid from the Extreme Martial Hall and the Thunderbolt Hall!"

No one had imagined that within the ocean there was yet another Beast Emperor—the third one!

But even the Eagle Nation's strongest councilor, Mohandson, was no match for a Beast Emperor.

Across the world, only three beings could contend with such monsters—and all of them resided in Jiuzhou Nation!

Just as the commanding officer sent out the distress call, the entire Western Sea Combat Base met its doom.

The moment that colossal beast opened its blood-filled maw—

A roar followed.

BOOM!

The world dimmed. A terrifying suction force twisted the very air, warping space itself.

The entire combat base was ripped from the ground, drawn upward like a moth to a flame, straight into the monster's mouth.

As it flew through the air, the base's massive structure was crushed, compressed smaller and smaller—until the Starry Sky Behemoth swallowed it whole in a single gulp.

"Oh my God!"

"By all that's holy!"

"Jesus Satan!"

"My God! What is that thing?!"

The higher-ups of the Eagle Nation stared at the screen, their faces pale as corpses. Even if Satan himself appeared, they wouldn't have been this terrified.

Rumble—!!

The base vanished into the beast's belly.

With the defense line gone, the Mississippi River flooded, and countless sea monsters surged inland. Among them was a gigantic dragon beast wreathed in lightning—the long-lost Thunder Dragon Emperor.

Once the strongest of all Beast Emperors, it now gazed upward in reverence—its enormous body trembling as it let out a low growl toward the Starry Sky Behemoth high above, several times smaller yet infinitely more terrifying.

"ROOAAARR!!"

The behemoth gave a long cry, almost like a burp, then beat its steel wings.

Like a jet fighter, it soared along the western coastline—sweeping straight toward the next combat base.
