Sonia was on her way to work when she received a call from her stepmother. Upon seeing the call, the first thing that came to mind was; was she trying to mediate between her and Felinda again?
The last time she talked to anyone from the family was several days ago. Not that they chatted every day, but everyone was busy. And her parents usually don't disturb her unless there was something urgent.
It wasn't like the family didn't like each other or something of the sort. Just that, they gave each other space while committing to mind and heart that they were one.
Of course, there was also the assumption that her stepmother might be calling for another reason. After all, she promised to visit with her husband next time. What if she was calling for that reason?
Either way, whatever the reason she was calling for. She didn't hesitate to answer the call.
She wasn't dealing with an evil stepmother, after all.
