Lyan seeing that Sonia was focusing more on Mr. James, he felt a bit stifled and couldn't help but interject, disrupting their conversation.
"Madam Sawyer, how about we talk as we look around? You are a busy person and I wouldn't want to encroach on your time."
When he said that, Mr. James looked guiltily and apologetically at Sonia, feeling a bit awful for talking too much while not putting into regard how busy such a person should be.
Sonia's eyes flickered briefly as she looked at Lyan, but nevertheless agreed with him as she answered, "that's fine with me," before shifting her focus back to Mr. James, and with a polite smile said, "after you, please."
'Sigh ….' Mr. James sighed inwardly with relief upon seeing that Sonia wasn't that angry at him or showing an attitude. It seems that he didn't offend her by being a chatterbox.
