After leaving Shou in command of the Thunder Lizards on the mountain, Ao Ziyun descended.
In a short time, he was already at the base. He was naturally as fast as a dragon and, despite his enormous body, covering the immense distance from the peak to the base of the mountain was extremely easy for him.
Ao Ziyun quickly inspected the area where the human tribe that had been devastated by the Thunder Lizards once stood, and soon set off toward the South Sea.
From the dragon's memories, he knew the general direction of the South Sea. His body moved through the air with extreme ease. Purple lightning crackled all over his body, propelling him forward, and he soon left Thundercrash Mountain behind.
Any being who looked up at that moment would see a purple bolt of lightning crossing the skies.
Using the fourth skill of the Purple Flood Dragon Divine Ability, [Divine Thunder Step], Ao Ziyun estimated that he would soon reach the coast of the South Sea.
Some time later, he reached the coast and entered the South Sea. As a Flood Dragon, he possessed the ability to breathe underwater with ease. Swimming through those waters would not be a problem.
The main issue was the location of the Black Flood Dragon Clan, he had no idea where it was, and it certainly wouldn't be in the shallow areas of the South Sea.
With no other choice, he continued to explore the sea. Even in this shallow region, there was an enormous number of creatures. Ao Ziyun felt as though he had entered a vast, primeval region: coral reefs stretched as far as the eye could see, and schools of fish filled every direction he looked. Feeling a pang of hunger, he opened his mouth and devoured a large school of yellow fish. He had no idea what species they were, but they were delicious.
Some time later, he spotted a green turtle. When it tried to flee, he captured it in an instant.
Between his claws, a turtle shrank inside its shell. Ao Ziyun tried to communicate, but it didn't seem to be like the Thunder Lizards, who were capable of understanding his language. Well, that didn't matter, it was a Houtian-level beast, and its soul surely contained useful information.
He did not know the Soul Searching Technique, however, he could create one.
------
[Soul Searching Technique]
A basic technique of the Soul Forging Path. It allows one to quickly scan a being's soul in search of information.
Cost: 50 Points

After confirming, he felt a flood of information about the technique surge in his mind.
Wasting no time, he used the technique on the turtle he held in his claws. The creature writhed for a few seconds as he searched through its mind. The turtle's thoughts were very chaotic, and he was unable to find the location of the Black Flood Dragon Clan, but he did discover information about a place where a Xiantian-level beast resided.
This place was located to the east of where he was. Ao Ziyun devoured the turtle's body before departing.
After assimilating its memories, he had no difficulty adapting to his new life. Of all the things that had happened to him, the best was becoming a dragon, the feeling of possessing such immense power was intoxicating. Compared to his former life as a human, he undoubtedly preferred his current form.
Soon, he found the place: a vast undersea valley. He made no effort to conceal his aura, allowing any creature to sense his arrival.
"Purple Dragon, what are you doing in the territory of the Sea Roar Beasts?"
Ao Ziyun heard a voice and observed a large creature emerging from the valley. It looked like a serpent, its body long and cylindrical, without scales. Its skin displayed elaborate patterns, and its eyes were extremely small compared to its enormous head.
It seemed like some kind of giant moray eel; of course, compared to him, it was much smaller. Ao Ziyun could sense the aura of a Xiantian emanating from it, perhaps an advanced Xiantian.
The moray wriggled, uncomfortable under the dragon's gaze. A Dragon's aura was inherently threatening to any creature, even more so when stared at directly.
"Who are you?" Ao Ziyun asked.
The moray stared at him in silence for a moment.
"I asked you first, you should answer me."
Ao Ziyun smiled and released his dragon aura over her. The moray retreated further into the valley and went on guard.
"I just need some information, I won't do anything to you. So answer quickly."
Looking at Ao Ziyun suspiciously, she began to speak:
"My name is Hai Shan. You dragons are as arrogant as ever. This is the territory of the Sea Roar Beasts. Dragons are not allowed in this area."
Ao Ziyun raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Hai Shan sighed deeply. These dragons were always so arrogant… She was already used to dealing with them when she lived in their sphere of influence. "This region is under the control of the Sea Roar Beast Clan. A great ancestor of the clan was killed by the patriarch of the Black Flood Dragon Clan many years ago. Since then, dragons have not been allowed in the clan's territory. Even if you are not a direct descendant of the Black Flood Dragons, the Sea Roar Beasts harbor great animosity toward any kind of dragon."
The Sea Roar Beast Clan is a type of sacred beast with a Leviathan lineage. They resemble whales and are capable of producing extremely powerful sonic attacks. It is a faction with at least one powerhouse at the first layer of Life Destruction.
"How do you know I don't belong to the Black Flood Dragon Clan?"
"My eyes are small, but I am not blind. The simple fact that you are here already proves it, and I have seen many members of the Black Flood Dragon Clan. They rarely had this color."
Ao Ziyun blinked slightly. Well, that made sense; he had asked a foolish question, his coloration was quite different from the common ones in this region.
"Never mind. Tell me where the Black Flood Dragon Clan is." Ao Ziyun said.
"If that means you'll leave my area, you just need to head north, to the Black Dragon mountain ranges. The closer you get, the more descendants of the Flood Dragons you will find."
Ao Ziyun snorted and left the moray's valley, heading north. He could have tried to scan the moray's soul, but it wasn't worth the trouble. And if what she said about the Sea Roar Beasts was true, he didn't want to have problems with any of them. The best option was to reach the dragon territory to plan his peaceful future.
Hai Shan watched the dragon disappear from sight. "That's why I don't like dragons… at least he's gone quickly." She sighed and returned into the valley.
