Professor Dela Cruz convinced the university library to host a small exhibit featuring student work. I submitted a piece from my archive project: a large print of one of Luna's most beautiful sketches of the plaza, paired with a modern photo I'd taken from the exact same angle.
The contrast was poignant—her lively, hopeful lines against the more worn, but still beautiful, reality. Next to it, I placed a small card with a quote from Miguel Reyes's audio interview:
"She saw the magic in the ordinary." It was my first public statement as an artist, and it was entirely for her.
