Pink stared at Lion for a long moment, or maybe less, because her diamond wasn't really processing things as it normally would.
A few seconds before, a pink portal opened as Lion jumped through, dragging the now unconscious, supposed hostage.
Lion's mane was covered in debris, some small bruises, as he looked at Pink with his stupid stare raising his front paw to Pink.
But Pink wasn't focused on Lion's behaviour at that moment. Her diamond eyes were focused on a small pool of blood forming underneath Lion's paw; her diamond eyes then followed it to a small blade piercing through his left paw from the front, with three or maybe four stabs, one of them rather close to the eye.
Pink froze in anger and confusion at seeing Lion covered in wounds, as her eyes turned to the unconscious, supposed hostage.
The man had a few bite marks and a claw mark on his back that were bleeding.
Pink knelt in front of Lion, as she spared another glance at the knife buried in Lion's paw before, with small hesitation, Pink then pulled it out and glanced at it.
The knife looked relatively normal, if the person ignored the strange glow that it gave off.
Pink never thought of the possibility that Lion attacked the man unprovoked; if the man was unhurt, then she could have entertained the thought that Lion was attacked by a third party, but since Lion obviously had to send the man to the dream world, then she understood things quite easily.
'That man wasn't a hostage in the first place; he was simply a man playing an act with the Joker, and this knife obviously isn't normal, maybe a strange metal or again with the magical nonsense.'
"Since when did a random no-name minion start carrying magically enhanced things?"
Pink was not happy, to say the least.
Realising that she saved a person, or a hostage, who turned out to be just a man in the Joker game was bitter for her.
But realising that if Lion was simply slightly less cautious or unlucky, the injury could have been worse all because she saved a person that wasn't in danger in the first place, nor deserving to be saved to begin with.
And the worst part is that Lion was hurt because a madman was playing a game with a freak in a bat suit.
'It's my fault for trying to play hero; I should have ignored everything and killed the Joker even if I had to bring half of Gotham with him!... What if Lion died? Can he die? Pink did revive him once, but I CANNOT REVIVE HIM OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER.'
At this point, Pink was pacing back and forth with an increasingly annoyed expression that was turning to anger.
The human part of what remained of Alfred was furious at having his new family hurt and injured because of some freak that needed to be put down, and the still open wound of his human family that he normally ignored because of his lack of ability to change anything.
That wound burned hotter than ever.
Pink didn't notice the empty expression on her face, nor the now blazing pink eyes, as strange pink waves were emitted around her, causing small cracks to spread through the ground.
Nor did the Diamond register the people backing away in fear, while Lion moved away slightly, looking very uncomfortable.
The moment Lion moved from his place, Pink's head turned with mechanical slowness towards the horizon.
In the direction the Joker's helicopter had escaped a while ago.
Pink could swear that she saw red before she felt her mind slip, and then she registered nothing but darkness afterwards.
Since Pink came to this world, she never slept, or at least not in the way her human body from before could; for her, sleep now was always like playing an act or a game of acting like she was normal, after all, she didn't need sleep or rest.
But at that moment, while Pink Diamond's anger blazed hotter than ever, all the anger of being unable to go back to her real earth, the anger of being far from home, the anger of being alone, the anger of her entire situation…..all that bottled up anger that blazed hidden in her diamond due to her inability to change her situation.
All of it was triggered by Lion's injury and, unfortunately for the Joker….He wasn't something that she wasn't capable of dealing with.
And thus all her anger finally found an outlet….And Pink Diamond was nothing if not emotional.
Thus she felt something crack as deep sleep finally found its way to her again…..A sleep of no concern or worries, just like her human self enjoyed…..Unknowing of the chaos that she would unleash in her unconscious state….but for now, Pink, for the first time in a long time, was at peace.
(Unnoticed by Pink)
Deep inside the flashing Pink Diamond, more accurately the part responsible for memories, a small barrier was present separating the two different sets of memories.
One set was large, yet not in control; the other was small in comparison, surrounded from all sides by a barrier to be protected from the influence of the rest of the memories.
Yet it was this side that was in full control.
Three individuals were on different parts of the memories.
One human-looking figure, covered in smoke-like fog, was furious with bloodshot eyes; it was the look of a person who did not care about logic or consequences, consumed by his anger.
The other was a tall woman with Pink hair and a Pink gem in her stomach, wearing a white dress, as her face looked dark from anger.
The third figure was the tallest, with a diamond in her chest with two glowing diamond irises.
The three individuals, for the first time since they came to this reality, were United in thoughts and in intentions.
And all three of them were furious as they stopped and mechanically turned to the barrier that kept them apart for so long.
And in union, the three walked towards the barrier until they stood facing each other, only separated by a thin barrier.
The human was the first to speak as his bloody eyes met the other two, "I want him dead….He will pay for harming my new family...I will not lose anyone else."
The other two didn't answer in words, but they could all feel it.…. They wanted the same thing.….and for the first time, they felt as if they were not so different.
The three sides could never fully agree on something before, it was almost impossible …well, not anymore.
The woman with pink hair raised her hand as a beautiful sword formed in her hand, while taking a ready stance, as she gripped the sword with both of her hands before looking at the other two with determination.
The second to move was the tallest with the diamond in her chest, as she moved her legs to the side and, crouching slightly, she was awkward and untrained, but she gave a small smile as she nodded before they both, in union, looked at the human beyond the barrier.
If he didn't agree or had second thoughts…..they couldn't do anything.
After all, the barrier was there to hold both of them off…..their power was never enough to break it.
The human stood for a long second, before looking at the two women who smiled brightly as they saw his answer.
The next second, the human fist was pulled back slightly, as the Human fist was covered in a sphere of vibrations that coated his entire fist, causing a small distortion in space.
In union, the woman's sword came slashing down, meeting the barrier, while the other with a diamond released a sonic scream point blank.
The human fist crashed against the barrier as glass-like cracks spread in the air.
The three of them kept brushing against the barrier until a small sound was heard that made the man grin, as the two other women smiled in unison.
Crack!
(The real world)
Pink's body went rigid for a second; when she moved again, she smashed a tear bottle atop of Lion's head without looking at him.
Then she walked with slow steps to the unconscious hostage; she placed a fist near the man's exposed back.
Pink placed her hand where the neck met the body, and then, with cold precision, a sharp crack sound was heard.
The man didn't die, but some men in his situation would wish they were dead.
After all, living like a corpse is much crueler than being one.
As for him being alive? Maybe some of Pink's unconscious state wanted him to suffer, or maybe she didn't wish to kill him for other reasons.
Whatever the reason is, the outcome is the same.
Every action has consequences, and when this man woke up, he might just realize that attacking the pet of superhuman beings isn't a smart decision.
Pink stood up, as her head turned back to the direction the Joker had fled to.
And with no words whatsoever, she crouched down while her eyes were locked onto something beyond the horizon.
With a launch, her legs cracked the ground as she was propelled to the sky.
She reached a terrifying height, but instead of being pulled by gravity, her diamond flashed as pink energy surrounded her body, and with a booming sound, Pink was flying as she broke through the skies, her speed increasing with every few seconds.
Her form evaded everything in her way from buildings, while her glowing eyes kept themselves locked in the same direction, at the same angle, with the same degree.
Even while moving to the side of a huge building, her eyes never moved once, as if everything else was deemed less important.
(A few minutes later)
A few kilometres from the Joker's hideout, a helicopter was being guarded by a few men in clown masks with a clown themed attires, while being completely hidden in a separate warehouse.
"I have a question, why don't we paint the helicopter with a smiling face?"
One of the men asked with a small whisper.
The one beside him looked at him like he was stupid…"Saying why should we do that? Don't you think our work is annoying as is? Do you want painting a helicopter to be added as well to the list of things we hate doing but have to do as well?"
"Well….We work for the Joker…He smiles all the time and we wear smiling masks….Might as well paint a smile on the helicopter, eh?"
The man beside him was about to argue, but he stopped as he then grinned beneath the mask before saying,
"You know what? Fair point….Then you can tell the boss about it yourself."
The man with the idea looked at him as he laughed dryly, with sweat starting to form under his mask.
"You know what?… I think the helicopter looks just fine…I always liked green….It's iconic."
The next second, a tearing sound was heard as both men turned around to feel their blood freeze solid.
The entire ceiling of the warehouse was lifted as two huge pink ethereal-looking hands, that reminded them of Green Lantern, were holding the peeled roof while a Pink woman came into view as she was floating just beneath the lifted ceiling, looking at them.
The next second, the rooftop was thrown aside as the gigantic pink fists started raining punches on the helicopter, crushing it in the first few tries, yet still continuing to do so as if unsatisfied.
A drop sound was heard as one of the men threw his weapon to the ground before turning around to run away.
And like a spark, everyone turned to flee from what they were comparing to an angry Superman in their heads.
A scream cut through the warehouse as Pink transparent chains held their ankles, before surrounding them like a snake, causing them to drop to the ground with a few grunts of pain.
Some of them turned to try to break the chain with their knives, while one turned and glared at the Pink woman as he pulled his handgun, preparing to shoot the floating figure, but his efforts were cut short as the chain moved like a snake coming to life as it surrounded him and started tightening until a few cracks were heard from his ribs.
The gigantic fists disappeared as Pink landed on the ground, still with those empty yet disturbing glowing eyes, as one of her hands held the pink chains while walking to them with heavy steps, leaving cracks in the ground.
The next second, a scream of pain drew the attention to one of the men on the ground.
They all watched in horror as the chain left the hand of what they remembered being called Pink Diamond, before forming a knife-like edge at the end of the chain.
The knife then impaled the man in both of his legs by flying through his knees and closing around his screaming body, before finally, the sharp edge buried itself in the ground deep enough that the wailing man couldn't pull it out.
The rest of them all turned mechanically, with pale faces, as they saw all the chains leave Pink Diamond's hands, floating slowly as the sharp edges started forming, glowing ominously in pink energy.
"Wait, Wait …... I SURRENDER!"
The man's voice was cut off as his, and the rest of the men's screams followed, as the Pink Demon stared at them with glowing eyes that somehow felt empty and not a single shred of emotion…not anger nor sympathy, just….indifference as if he was too insignificant for her to consider his pleas.
Pink diamond turned slowly as several gigantic structures that resembled gauntlets formed floating above the warehouse, each one as big as a car, before they started punching and crushing the warehouse, aiming to crush everything.
The men watched in horror while the warehouse was reduced to nothing.
The warehouse was crushed countless times, leaving nothing but broken pieces behind, yet she didn't seem satisfied as those empty glowing irises kept looking forward, while the gigantic gauntlets continued.
After long seconds, Pink turned her head slowly to one of the men on the ground, while her glowing eyes narrowed.
She crouched as she held the man's neck and lifted him off the ground, and brought his face a few inches from her doll face, yet seeing the glowing eyes made him freeze in fear as a beautiful yet strange distorted voice, that seemed almost soulless as if she wasn't fully there, spoke.
"Where is the Clown?"
