The usually imposing Thor now looked ridiculous, dangling like a boneless snake as the man carried him.
Perhaps it was better that Thor survived.
At this moment, Loki felt a perverse pleasure at seeing Thor in such a sorry state.
He gripped his war hammer tightly and smiled mischievously at the man not far away. "You must be Chen Xi?"
Chen Xi set Thor down on the ground.
He didn't say much, only responding calmly to Loki: "Yes, I am Chen Xi."
As he landed, two women suddenly appeared: Gwen and Qin Gelei.
Although they felt the tension of the situation and knew they might not be able to handle the intruders, they firmly stood beside Chen Xi.
Chen Xi glanced briefly at the two women before placing Thor on the ground.

At that moment, Amora, Balder, and other Asgardian gods arrived.
Loki, who had originally intended to capture both Thor and Chen Xi, immediately grew cautious.
Though Loki had always been supremely confident in his abilities, facing this many opponents—even with Fenrir by his side—he couldn't handle it alone.
Even his arrogance had limits.
He shouted to Fenrir, "Fenrir, retreat!"
With that, Loki and the magical wolf Fenrir made a swift escape under everyone's watchful eyes.
Balder wanted to give chase, but Thor stopped him.
"No need to pursue!"
Thor knew Balder would be no match for Fenrir and Loki; any attempt would be suicidal.
Balder hesitated but finally obeyed and turned back.
He then rushed forward to lift the badly injured Thor.
Thor exhaled heavily. "I didn't expect Loki to have grown this strong… completely beyond my expectations."
He realized he had underestimated him before.
Beyond this, there were other matters. Thor looked at Chen Xi cautiously and sincerely thanked him: "Thank you for saving my life."
"I didn't intend to save you. It just happened to occur at my doorstep, so I had to step out and see what was going on. It seems this Loki fellow knows you well. As for damages caused, do you require compensation?"

If Chen Xi had invited her alone, she might have been suspicious. But with Gwen and Qin Gelei busy in the kitchen, it seemed perfectly reasonable.
