Valeria's resolute attitude made Ham and Tony Stark both visibly excited.
If anyone else had accomplished so much in such a short time, they probably wouldn't have believed it.
Especially considering the significant technological breakthroughs she had achieved.
The mechanical insect corpses revealed to them a higher-level civilization, with technology far beyond anything they had encountered so far—much more advanced than the alien tech from the New York battle.
Tony Stark and Ham were both leading research teams.
Yet, they hadn't reached any concrete conclusions.
"I'll make sure you get to see Chen Xi," Tony Stark said.
"But your research results should probably be tested."
After all, these were Valeria's experimental results. Tony wasn't entirely sure if it was right for him to say that.
No matter how he phrased it, it seemed somewhat excessive. He frowned, his features betraying his hesitation.
Valeria only needed a glance at Tony's expression to understand what was going on.
"We'll discuss testing later. As for the research results, I only want to hand them over to Chen Xi."
Valeria wanted to give herself a proper conclusion.
After finishing these matters, she considered it done.
Valeria pressed her lips together and lowered her head, her emotions subtly tangled.
During this time, she had been deeply saddened, thinking of her brother Franklin, who had been killed by Chen Xi.

She quickly tidied the house.
And when she learned the guest was Valeria, she went into the kitchen to make juice.
Once done, the doorbell rang—Valeria had arrived.
There was no one else; only Valeria stood at the door.
"Come in. Chen Xi has been waiting for you," Qi Gelei said.
Valeria nodded, and after Qi Gelei stepped aside, she entered.
Her eyes immediately fell on Chen Xi, sitting not far away.
A glass of juice sat before him.
Seeing her, he naturally pushed the juice toward her. "Have a seat."
Valeria had thought her emotions would remain unaffected when she saw Chen Xi.
But upon seeing him, she couldn't help but feel stirred.
"These are all the results of my research."
Valeria placed a hard drive in front of Chen Xi.
Chen Xi glanced at it but didn't touch it, instead looking intently at Valeria.
"Since you insisted on meeting me, besides handing over the mechanical insect research results, I assume you have another reason. Speak—what is it?"
Valeria looked at Chen Xi.
She noticed his gaze was calm, without much emotion toward her.
Although mentally prepared, she still couldn't help feeling a bit bitter.
She regretted it.
"I know your abilities. I want you to send me back to my own time and world."
"You want to go back?"
Chen Xi was surprised.
After all, Valeria's abilities were extraordinary. Staying would have been more beneficial, but given recent events, she likely truly didn't want to remain. So…
Fine. Chen Xi didn't insist on her staying.
Although mental abilities were rare, she wasn't the only one.
"Okay, when do you plan to leave? I can send you anytime."
Chen Xi agreed readily, but Valeria wasn't entirely happy.
"Now."
Worried she might regret it, she gritted her teeth and answered firmly.
Chen Xi stood and walked beside Valeria. "Then, let's go."
He placed his hand on her shoulder, and they vanished from the room.
Seeing Valeria and Chen Xi suddenly disappear, Qi Gelei showed no surprise. In fact, after they left, she cleared the untouched juice from the table.
As for the hard drive, she hesitated briefly but left it quietly on the table.
Chen Xi's absence didn't last long; he returned shortly after.
"Valeria… has everything over there been taken care of?"
Qi Gelei asked as she looked at him.
