When Nivyansh and his companions were talking, at the same time a voice was heard nearby, which made all the students gather in a field. Seeing this, Nivyansh and his companions also moved in that direction. Upon reaching there, they saw that all the students present were thinking the same thing:
"What news has come for which they were hurriedly called here?"
Many students were asking each other this question, trying to figure out what had happened, causing the place to be filled with chatter.
But this noise did not last long. At that moment, some middle-aged individuals started walking toward the field. Their chests bore the token of the "Shurveer Academy." Seeing them, all the students who were making noise a moment ago immediately became silent. These people were none other than the teachers of the academy, some of whom Nivyansh knew very well, such as Teacher Bhupati and Teacher Chandramani, who were among the most respected teachers of the academy.
Seeing them, the students started talking once again.
"Wow, today all the teachers are here."
"Yes, seems like something special is going to happen."
Another student replied, "You're right, brother. Today, even Teacher Bhupati and Teacher Chandramani are here, so it must be something important."
With these conversations, the field filled with noise again. At that moment, a calm but commanding elderly voice echoed:
"All students, be quiet."
Hearing this, all the students who were talking stopped immediately and looked toward the source of the voice. Their eyes fell on an elderly man dressed in golden attire, walking slowly toward the front, exuding an aura of authority within the academy.
This was none other than the Vice Head of the academy, known to everyone as Kailash Deep. Seeing him, Teacher Bhupati and Teacher Chandramani walked forward to greet him, to which he nodded. Immediately after, a deep voice resonated as he addressed all the students:
"As you all must know, a few months from now, our academy will host the annual competition between all four branches. Many talented students among you must have been training hard for it. But before that, there will be a preliminary competition in this northern region, from which only the top fifty talented students will get the chance to participate in the inter-branch competition. This will allow you to prove yourselves before members and leaders of all royal families, potentially benefiting you in the future. Furthermore, the top five students in this competition will be rewarded by the academy with prestigious prizes."
Hearing this, many students who were unaware of such matters felt a unique sparkle in their eyes. Nivyansh, of course, could not stay behind. At that moment, Vyomesh, who was standing next to Nivyansh, said,
"See, Nivyansh brother, I told you, didn't I?"
Nivyansh nodded in agreement but said nothing, as his full attention was on what the teacher was saying. Then Teacher Bhupati continued:
"As all of you heard, the competition will be held in this garden on the first day of next month. Your power levels and elemental purity will be tested. Nivyansh, who had recently achieved the Blood Circulation Rank, felt slightly uneasy.
Soon after, all the students present stood in a queue, waiting for their turn. One by one, as their names were called, they went to a pillar on the stage. When they channeled their powers into it, their rank and level appeared, along with the purity level of their elemental powers.
The powers were divided into levels, and each power's purity was represented in nine levels, each divided into four stages: the first, also called the low stage; the second; the medium; and the last stage. These stages reflected the purity of the powers.
At that moment, a student's name was called: Sohan, a first-year student. He stepped forward and placed his hand on the pillar, channeling his powers. Soon, his power level and rank were displayed: Blood Circulation Rank – one star, Element – Air, Purity level – six, Medium stage.
Meanwhile, on the nearby mountain, the atmosphere had turned terrifying. Both sides' armies were clashing fiercely, and the battlefield looked like a graveyard with soldiers dying everywhere. The screams, the clashing of swords, and explosions of powers shook the entire area.
Then, two powerful individuals collided mid-air, causing a small explosion that pushed them apart slightly, showing that their power levels were equal. They were none other than Sushen of the Sisodia family and Teemar of the Gehlot family, attacking each other fiercely.
At the same time, we see the most dangerous battle of this region taking place between the commanders Raktab and Malkhan Singh. Their swords clashed in the sky as if enemies from countless lifetimes were finally unleashing all their enmity in this one battle. The sound of their clashing weapons echoed:
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
Sparks flew from every clash, making it appear as if continuous explosions were happening in the sky, blurring the battlefield with the force of their powers.
During an attack, both collided with mountain rocks and broke them into pieces, raising clouds of dust. When the dust settled, Malkhan Singh emerged from the rubble, and everyone's eyes turned to the other mountain, where Raktab removed the debris from himself and stood facing Malkhan Singh. Seeing this, Malkhan Singh clenched his fists in anger:
"Raktab, even if God himself comes, you will not escape my hands today!"
He displayed his full power, causing two pearls to appear behind his head, indicating his power level as the second star of the Rudra Rank. Seeing this, the soldiers from the Mysore and Gehlot clans looked pleased, while the Sisodia soldiers showed fear and surprise.
Even the elder combatants in the sky, seeing Malkhan Singh's power, were shocked. Teemar then laughed cunningly at Sushen:
"Haha, I thought your family's commander would be strong, but it seems he can't match Malkhan Singh."
Sushen, seeing the pearls behind Malkhan Singh's head, felt slightly worried but remained silent, still hoping that Raktab could at least hold him off for some time.
But Raktab, witnessing Malkhan Singh's powers, stood firm in the sky with no expression on his face. Slowly, red energy began emanating from him, forming pearls behind his head:
"One pearl, two pearls, three pearls."
Raktab's powers outshone Malkhan Singh's. The soldiers of the Mysore and Gehlot clans who were happy now showed astonishment on their faces.
Malkhan Singh, noticing Raktab's superior powers, said:
"Raktab, even though your power has one star more than mine, it doesn't matter. Today, I will send you to hell with my own hands. I will tear your body into pieces that your family won't find for years!"
He unleashed a powerful technique: The Giant Stone Sword, summoning a three-hundred-foot-long terrifying sword in the sky that moved toward Raktab at Malkhan Singh's command.
Seeing this, Raktab felt a threat from the attack, as its energy pressed against his body, seemingly capable of splitting him into two.
What will happen next? Will Raktab withstand Malkhan Singh's attack, or will he be killed? And what will happen during the academy's power tests? To find the answers to all these questions, read the upcoming chapters of The Heartless Warrior.
