An invisible wave of spiritual energy spread from Tang Chuan's body. The Blue Silver Grass in his palm, surrounded by a faint light, began to change its shape. The branches thickened and turned a deep black, instantly becoming a heavy, pitch-black Clear Sky Hammer.

This was the legendary Clear Sky Hammer, the inherited spirit of the Clear Sky Sect.

"What? It can actually change the form of a spirit by using mental energy?"

Tang Chuan stared at the hammer in his hand, his heart pounding in disbelief. "Even though it doesn't have the power of a real Clear Sky Hammer, its appearance is a perfect imitation. It's almost impossible to tell the difference."

He lightly swung the hammer, and the ground trembled slightly. But it was far from the explosive force a real Clear Sky Hammer would have.

With a thought, Tang Chuan continued his Simulation. Blue-gold light swirled around his body. In an instant, his body subtly distorted. His bones, muscles, skin, face, and even his hair began to reshape.

In the blink of an eye, a person who looked exactly like Tang San stood there. Not only that, but the purple, thousand-year spirit ring floating beneath his feet also changed. Under the control of his mental energy, it became a yellow, hundred-year spirit ring. His spiritual power was also perfectly suppressed to around level ten.

"This Simulation effect is incredible," Tang Chuan murmured as he looked at his face, which now looked exactly like Tang San's, reflected in the water. Even he felt a chill. "It can not only change the form of a spirit, but it can also use my own body to perfectly simulate other people and objects I've seen. And it can hide my aura and strength."

"Help!"

Suddenly, a panicked cry for help echoed through the quiet outskirts of the Star Dou Great Forest.

Tang Chuan frowned, looking in the direction of the sound. He flipped his palm, and the Blue Silver Grass spirit appeared again. Immediately, the countless ordinary blades of Blue Silver Grass on the ground began to tremble as if they had received a command.

The surrounding Blue Silver Grass became his eyes. Instantly, a wide vision appeared in his mind, and the image quickly came into focus.

A young girl in a dark blue uniform was stumbling through the forest. Behind her, a black, snake-like Spirit Beast with a red belly, five or six meters long, was chasing her, its mouth wide open.

"Someone from Tian Shui Academy?" Tang Chuan's eyes narrowed. He recognized her uniform instantly. "That's strange. Aren't they supposed to have a teacher with them? Why is she alone?"

Tang Chuan didn't move. He stood still and watched calmly.

The girl's steps became weaker. She was clearly at her limit, while the snake-like Spirit Beast got closer and closer. It flicked its tongue, its red eyes full of bloodlust, ready to pounce and swallow her whole.

"This girl is quite pretty," Tang Chuan muttered to himself, a glint in his eyes. He stroked his chin. "It would be a shame if she died like this." He wasn't being a hero. He just thought it would be a waste for such a good-looking girl to die.

"All right, let's consider this practice."

As he spoke, a blue-gold light suddenly appeared on his right leg. In the next moment, he slowly floated and stepped into the Void Realm, flying dozens of meters in the blink of an eye, speeding towards the source of the sound.

In a flash, the snake-like Spirit Beast reached the girl. It opened its massive mouth, its fangs gleaming, intending to swallow her whole. The girl's face turned pale. She quickly used her spiritual power, and a phantom of a dark blue dolphin appeared behind her.

Then, a yellow spirit ring lit up under her feet.

"First Spirit Ability: Freeze!" she shouted. An ice-blue beam of light shot from her palm, hitting the attacking snake-like Spirit Beast.

Crack, crack, crack! Frost spread, and in an instant, the Spirit Beast was frozen in mid-air, turning into a terrifying ice sculpture less than a meter away from her. It didn't move.

"Phew... that was close." The girl gasped, cold sweat pouring down her forehead. She felt a huge wave of relief.

But just as she relaxed, a loud bang echoed, and the ice sculpture shattered into countless pieces. The snake-like Spirit Beast's eyes were filled with rage. The freeze had only stopped it for a moment, but it hadn't hurt it at all. It lunged again, even faster than before.

"It's over..."

The girl's eyes widened, and her heart sank. Her spiritual power was completely exhausted. She didn't have the strength to fight back. She could only stare blankly as the giant, bloody mouth grew larger and larger in front of her. Her mind went blank, ready to accept her fate.

But at that crucial moment, a blue-gold light shot out from the forest like a comet.

"Get lost!"

A cold and powerful voice boomed through the forest like a morning bell. Then, a metallic sound of something flying through the air rang out.

Pfft!

The attacking snake-like Spirit Beast didn't even have time to react before an iron spear pierced its weak spot, and blood shot out like a fountain. Its body struggled violently in the air a few times, then crashed to the ground with a thud. It twitched twice and then went completely still.

The person who had arrived was Tang Chuan. He slowly pulled out the iron spear, his gaze focused on the corpse. "It's about seven and a half meters long, with dark black scales and purple spots. Its pupils are like vertical needles. It's a seven to eight-hundred-year-old Nether Scale Spotted Snake."

"If I hadn't flown into the air for a surprise attack and caught it when it was focused on the girl, this spear might not have been able to kill it in one blow."

Blood was still gushing from the Spirit Beast's wound. His previous strike had hit its vital spot, which was why it died instantly. Tang Chuan looked down at his right leg, where a faint blue-gold light still flickered.

"The boost from a hundred-thousand-year Spirit Bone is truly immeasurable. If it wasn't for the flying ability from the Blue Silver Emperor right leg bone, I never would have been that fast."

Tang Chuan looked at the Spirit Beast's corpse again. After a moment of thought, he kicked it into the tall grass nearby. Then, he turned and walked towards the girl, who was still staring at him in a daze.
