"Damn it, Sasuke completed the mission secretly by himself! Kakashi-sensei, he's breaking the rules! I don't accept it!"

Naruto shouted in frustration, eyes wide, following Sasuke as the sun set.

"The mission's done, so stop nagging, Naruto. Besides, catching two wild boars also breaks the rules. Even if you brought them to the client, you violated the order!"

Sakura, close behind, clenched her fist, staunchly defending Sasuke.

"Sakura's right, Naruto, you broke the rules too. There's nothing I can do about Sasuke. Missing that chance could've meant a long delay. Do you want to stay in the forest tonight chasing boars?"

Kakashi said, not looking back, prompting Sakura to raise both hands in agreement.

"Kakashi-sensei, Sakura
"

Naruto deflated, losing his moral high ground.

"You brought this on yourself, idiot," Sasuke glanced at Naruto, speaking lightly, feeling his chakra increase.

0.5 units chakra wasn't much, but it matched a chƫnin's level.

All he lacked was ninjutsu and genjutsu to utilize it.

Sasuke felt a slight pang at the thought.

In his previous life's memories, post-Uchiha massacre, he only kept one Fire Release scroll with three ninjutsu:

C-rank Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique, C-rank Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique, and B-rank Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique.

The only C-rank technique he mastered, Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, was taught by Fugaku Uchiha personally.

He had no Uchiha-proud Sharingan genjutsu—embarrassing.

'No, I can't rely on unknown system rewards. I must actively learn ninjutsu and genjutsu to boost my strength, lest the butterfly effect leads to failure. It's you, Kakashi Hatake, the Copy Ninja of a thousand techniques. I'll inherit the bond Obito severed.'

Sasuke thought, eyeing Kakashi's leisurely back, resolving firmly.

In the original story, Kakashi favored Sasuke due to his bond with Obito, teaching him Chidori.

Being proactive now should pose no issue.

"Let's stop here. I'll submit the mission to the Hokage. Disband and regroup tomorrow morning," Kakashi announced, stopping on Konoha's commercial street.

With a whoosh, he headed to the Hokage Building.

"It's finally over! Sasuke-kun, Naruto, I'm going home!"

Sakura perked up, waved, and ran off.

'Damn
If I didn't reek from tracking boars, I wouldn't leave now. I missed a team dinner to celebrate our first mission! Next time, then. I can't let Sasuke-kun smell my stench and ruin my cute girl image.'

Sakura thought, regretting as she sped up, having lagged behind Naruto intentionally.

"Huh? What's with Sakura?"

Naruto asked, confused, watching her speed away.

"Who knows? Naruto, want to eat ramen together? We're alone at home anyway," Sasuke said indifferently, then invited, aiming to build rapport.

To trigger advice without hints, he'd increase interactions for system rewards.

Cultivation and system rewards must be pursued together.

"Ramen? You're that nice? I don't have money to treat you."

Naruto, briefly surprised, grew suspicious, recalling his earlier outburst at Sasuke.

Sasuke must be luring him to Ichiraku Ramen for revenge.

"Idiot, come if you want," Sasuke frowned, snorting, and walked toward Ichiraku Ramen.

This guy was a true friend—infuriating but trustworthy.

Sasuke thought of his adopted sons from his past life, wondering if they'd be jealous knowing he'd transmigrated as Sasuke.

"Is this a trap?"

Naruto muttered suspiciously, embarrassed.

If Sasuke was genuine, he'd miss a free meal and a chance to bond.

He lacked bonds.

"Wait, Sasuke!"

Naruto shouted, chasing after him.

That evening, at Kakashi's home, "Sasuke? How'd you find this place?"

Kakashi, in casual clothes, asked curiously after opening the door.

He hadn't shared his address.

"What kind of student doesn't know their sensei's home? Kakashi-sensei, I want to learn Sharingan genjutsu," Sasuke said directly, activating his Sharingan.

"Sharingan genjutsu? How do you know I have the Sharingan?"

Kakashi asked, surprised, breathing quickly, inviting Sasuke inside.

"Konoha's Copy Ninja, Sharingan Kakashi. I heard my father mention you—a Sharingan hero from the Kannabi Bridge Battle, a non-ninja who wields it skillfully, and my only teacher to consult. Please, Kakashi-sensei!"

Sasuke said seriously, entering with a proper attitude.

He fabricated confidently—no one could disprove it.

He bet Kakashi wouldn't ignore Obito's legacy.

"You
"

Kakashi trembled at the mention of Kannabi Bridge, shocked.

Memories of Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara flooded back, painful and vivid.

"Phew
Is that so? I didn't know Fugaku-senpai spoke of me. He agreed to let me inherit Obito's Sharingan, so I owe the Uchiha a favor," Kakashi said after a pause, lifting his forehead protector to reveal his three-magatama Sharingan, exhaling.

The Third Hokage assigned him as Sasuke's sensei because of the Sharingan.

Sasuke's request wasn't unreasonable.

However, for a genin like Sasuke, learning ninjutsu and genjutsu now was premature.

He needed to refine chakra control and taijutsu.

"Sorry, Sasuke. With your single-magatama Sharingan, genjutsu is too difficult now. It's not time for ninjutsu or genjutsu."

"As your sensei, I'll guide you. Starting tomorrow, with Naruto and Sakura, focus on basic chakra control. I'll monitor your growth and teach genjutsu and ninjutsu when ready," Kakashi said, politely declining Sasuke's expectant look.

Sasuke, confident, was stunned.

Not even Fugaku and Obito's names swayed him?

[Kakashi's suggestion detected, triggering a C-rank reward. Task: Kakashi's Talent Recognition. Reward: Lightning Release: Thunderbolt.]
