The weeks after Espeons' transformation were filled with careful preparation, observation, and a growing bond between Albert and all the other Eevee in the yard.
Each group had been nurtured in environments tailored to their latent affinities.
One clear night, under the silvery glow of a full moon, the Dark-oriented Eevee began to stir. Albert sensed a surge of energy from them—a coordinated pulse of anticipation.
His instruments recorded a sudden, intense spike, much like the Psychic group before them.
"They're ready," he whispered with awe, voice trembling with excitement.
Suddenly, the Dark Eevee all began to glow a brilliant, blinding white, the light bathing the yard and reflecting in their eyes.
For nearly two minutes, the aura pulsed in rhythm with their heartbeat, creating a spectacle of wonder. Then, slowly, they shifted into their evolved forms: sleek black fur, rings of luminous gold appearing on their limbs and tails, crimson eyes shining.
Umbreon.
Albert gasped, almost stumbling over Steven as he instinctively tackled him into a celebratory hug. "They evolved!" Instruments recorded every fluctuation, but the wonder of Pokémon evolution was beyond any data.
Joseph, standing silently nearby, could only watch in astonishment at how quickly Albert's research bore fruit once again.
A week later, on a sunlit afternoon, the Grass-oriented Eevee gathered in their patch of garden.
Albert had applied careful doses of sunlight, soil nutrients, and subtle psychic encouragement to align with their natural affinity.
As the Leaf Stones gleamed softly on each one of them, the Eevee began to glow an intense, dazzling white, their forms vibrating slightly with energy.
Gradually, the glow faded, revealing their evolved forms: Leafeon. Fur shaded in vivid greens, tails sprouting leafy edges, and legs becoming slender and elegant.
Albert's heart swelled at the beauty and grace before him. Steven grinned, whispering, "I swear you're smiling more than them!"
When the first snow of the season dusted the grounds, Ice-oriented Eevee were ready for their turn.
Under Albert's guidance, surrounded by icy energy and an Ice Stone for each Eevee, they began to shine with a brilliant white light that shimmered against the frosted ground.
Slowly, the glow receded, showing a quadrupedal Pokémon with light-blue fur. It has long, pointed ears and a small nose. A teal crest with two dangling flaps adorns its head, resembling hair or headgear, along with piercing icy eyes: Glaceon.
And finally, on a warm, playful afternoon, the Fairy-oriented Eevee were also prepared.
Though Sylveon had never existed in research, Albert had taught them a Fairy-type move–Baby-Doll Eyes, pairing it with emotional energy and playful interaction.
One by one, as they learned the move, each Eevee radiated an intense white glow, dazzling the yard, as energy swirled around their dainty forms.
Gradually, their fur became pale cream-colored fur with pink feet, ears, and tail. There are two bows on its body: one at the base of its left ear and one at its neck. Each bow is pale cream with a pink center and trails a pair of ribbon-like feelers. Sylveon.
Albert's jaw dropped at their beauty. He could hardly believe this group, once merely candidates for potential evolution, now radiated pure magical energy.
By the end of the month, the yard was a kaleidoscope of Eeveelutions: Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon, each thriving in its environment.
Albert watched over them, smiling fully, instruments humming quietly beside him.
Time to take the world by storm.
