Chapter 113 - A Bloodbath

Time passed very slowly. The songs were classical, and there were naked women dancing everywhere. It was absolute madness—Father Doug couldn't believe it.

"I'm going to need confession and a baptism after this mission," said Father Doug, calmer than anyone would have expected. After all, he wasn't prepared for what was about to happen.

Wednesday, who suddenly had a vision, understood everything Jonathan had once told her.

"That's why they hate you so much…" Wednesday wasn't impressed by the naked women around her. In fact, no one even asked her age.

Even if her appearance was different from the others, very few paid attention to her—just like Jonathan, who was playing with silver coins.

"Many die on missions—you've seen it better than most. That's why those who survive can't coexist with supernatural beings." Jonathan was estranged from The Healing Church; he knew they were behind many of the evils that tormented this world.

Everything made sense if he looked at it from the angle of his backstory—a story he knew well, one that seemed to have been adapted into this world.

"Yes, I know," said Wednesday as her gaze wandered around the place.

Most of the people gathered here were workers looking for a bit of fun in their lives—to spend time with a woman and then return to work.

Even though none of these people were Jonathan's priority, he would do everything possible to save as many of them as he could, even if no one asked for his help.

It was more of a need—sometimes he believed that his duty was the way he would save many more people.

"I'll take care of it," murmured Jonathan as he noticed the star performer's dance coming to an end.

Father Doug, who had been handing out tips everywhere, slowly pulled out his shotgun, fully loaded it, and waited patiently.

Wednesday also held her two pistols. She knew why she was here, so she would do whatever it took to meet everyone's expectations.

Now that she was working with Jonathan, she understood that her duty was to save people and eliminate dark entities.

"I won't die in this place."

Crack!

"Aaaaaahhhhhh!"

"Richard!"

At that moment, Richard—the maniac who wouldn't stop kissing the star woman's foot—screamed in pain as he was bitten.

"That bitch bit me, brother!"

Seth drew his pistol and shot the woman in the shoulder.

Bang!

"How's your hand, little brother?" asked Seth while aiming around again, searching for more enemies.

Jonathan, who had been sitting, stood up, took off his jacket, and revealed numerous hand grenades—each made of silver.

Jonathan did the same, but Wednesday, who didn't know what to do, simply placed her hands on the table while holding her pistols.

Everyone looked at them—even Seth, who had no idea what was going on.

But before he could even ask, that same woman stood up.

"My name is Jonathan Belmont. Anyone who's human, stay in your seats and don't cause me trouble."

"Richard, watch out."

"Aaaaahhhh!"

Jonathan no longer hesitated. His pair of pistols began spitting bullets at the women who were slowly changing their appearance.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

His shots were supernatural—there was no way a human could match his level of marksmanship at that moment.

"Arghhhhh!!!"

The vampires who had closed the doors were met by Jonathan's bullets, each one hitting precisely in the head.

"Holy Mother of God, damn it." Father Doug saw a naked woman approaching him and, almost without hesitation, fired.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The silver bullets, no matter where they hit, did their job of eliminating vampires. Bobby didn't need to worry about his aim, since just one bullet was enough to take down one of those monsters.

"Aaaahhhhh!!!"

The place soon became a bloodbath. Some vampires began attacking the humans, making it difficult for Jonathan to take them down—he could easily kill civilians by accident.

"Zz… Assault team in position."

"Move in now!" shouted Jonathan, who had just torn off a vampire woman's head.

Wednesday stood up, raised her pistols, and fired in rhythm with the song that was playing.
