Chapter 185 - The Situation of the Building

According to speculation, there is a high probability that all the residents of the entire apartment building have been possessed by demons.

The lava debris on the second floor, along with the stronger movement on the third floor, also added a bit more certainty to this assumption.

Standing on some wooden planks that had been brought here for no reason, they generated a crackling sound as Jonathan advanced along with the agents who had completely cleared this floor.

The demons did not bleed, their bodies upon death turned into lava stone and fell to the ground generating horrible sounds.

At that moment, on every floor Jonathan climbed, he was received by dozens of demons who were eliminated in the same way.

Boom!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Ahhhhhh!"

Images of the rooms, air ducts, and corridors appeared in Jonathan's mind, analyzing the ways in which he would be attacked and effectively commanding his agents to avoid casualties.

On the fourth floor of the building these demons appeared one after another, all of them ran against the bullets as if they suffered no damage at all.

This allowed Jonathan's team to eliminate them quite easily, but their ammunition at this point would be spent much faster than expected and they would need other ways to deal with the demons.

"Zz… Sir, we will need more ammunition!"

Jonathan did not need to figure anything out, his only goal was to kill everything so he could return home and rest properly, so for that he had to make sure to do a good job.

"Be more precise with your bullets, do not fire at the same time and focus on single targets."

"Understood, Archbishop!"

Jonathan stood on the stair landing and gently threw a salt grenade upward where he had sensed several presences.

It had been a perfect throw.

The grenade fell on the upper stairs and rolled into the corridor.

At that moment, a group of demons looked at that thing rolling under their incredulous gazes, none of them knew what it was and when they were about to move the explosion turned them into dust.

Boom!

"Ahhhhhhh!"

These similar-looking demons had been shattered.

When Jonathan heard the grenade explode he stepped out and walked over the bodies that were writhing on the ground.

As soon as the screams diminished, the group of demons ran directly toward Jonathan with fierce faces.

Under the flickering emergency lights, the faces of these people were so horrible, like zombies in a sense, but more intelligent and powerful than zombies.

If only common firearms or ordinary attacks were used, then these people would have a very high lethality because they could still continue moving.

But Jonathan was not using ordinary bullets, even the agents of the light who were behind him were not using common cartridges.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Ahhhhhh!"

"Room cleared!"

Boom!

Jonathan watched as the demons were being eliminated and made sure that none of them got close enough to cause trouble.

"Rest in peace…"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

There was an explosion louder than the thunder outside.

The flashes of lightning illuminated Jonathan's appearance and there was very little difference between him and a demon who did not show his feelings.

At the moment when an agent of the light eliminated a demon others advanced to cover the advance, eliminating more demons who in a certain way were very easy to deal with.

"Keep advancing, do not stop!"

Accompanied by the sound of bullets, Jonathan did his best to reserve ammunition for the main enemy so he began to use his sword and fist.

…

"Go to hell, go to hell, go to hell…"

"Go to hell, go to hell, go to hell…"

Jonathan, who had climbed to the ninth floor, stopped, looked around him and his gaze lifted toward the ventilation ducts.

"In that case…"

Jonathan waved his hand and a blade of darkness cut the ventilation duct in half, and at that moment a body fell halfway from that same place.

Boom!

"You will rot in hell!"

Jonathan looked at the demon and murmured, "Then I will kill as many demons as I can before I perish."

Bang!

"Keep advancing!" Jonathan changed the magazine of his pistol and looked around to make sure everything was clear.
