"Guardian, now of an entire continent, my family's authority is beyond any country or state. Do the high command understand that clearly?" Jonathan asked while drinking his coffee.
Gabriel sighed lightly; being gathered with monsters in the skin of humans was truly exhausting. "The world is protected by only two capable people, Kiran and you. Anton is the guardian of our world and hell. The Grimms are almost extinct, and the same is happening with the Winchesters—there are fewer than twenty members left, so you must teach the new ones your methods."
The Grimm family of hunters had been losing members due to their inability to sacrifice something; all of them were incapable of doing what the Winchesters do.
Jonathan recognized many families that had earned the title of nobility from all the governments of the world. They were, in fact, the only ones with that recognizable title, but each family, as was evident, had suffered significant losses, and that is why nowadays they were fewer and fewer.
"I don't blame anyone, and even less the Grimms. They have been eliminating dark entities since the time of Hitler. Just like us, they have dedicated their entire history to eliminating supernatural creatures." Jonathan did not care about something like this.
Gabriel smiled uncomfortably and said: "As I understand it, you should have many children. You are now twenty-five years old, but you still don't have a partner… Do you want me to help you with that?"
"It's not the time for that. I am someone sensitive; I must find my ideal partner." Jonathan knew about that other responsibility; he was one of the few who belonged to the royal family and was obligated to have many descendants.
Women were not subject to those rules, only men.
Jonathan, all this time, had ignored that because he only focused on killing, but now with new agents in that sector, the pressure they had with the small masses of low-level monsters was decreasing more and more.
"I will look for my partners little by little. There are still two ShadowBane alive, don't bother me with these small matters." Jonathan stood up after finishing his coffee.
Gabriel also stood up, paid the bill, and left the shop. "Everything from today onward will be through computer; you will have access to missions from your personal email."
"Don't you find it curious? I think everything is going to go to hell, and it's only a matter of time… Well, it doesn't matter, you should visit us at least once. The agents would appreciate seeing someone interested in their lives," Jonathan said sarcastically, criticizing how the leaders, in part, do not get involved in the elimination of dark entities.
Gabriel would understand all this, so he said: "I'll keep it in mind, but you know that if a leader dies, it will take the organization a long time to recover."
"Is the thing about the AI still on the table?" Jonathan asked with a direct look.
"That won't happen…"
…
A few hours later, Jonathan returned to the church where Wednesday was waiting for him for her training.
"Get in, let's go straight to work."
Wednesday, who thought Jonathan would not come, got a little excited and quickly got into the car. "I thought something terrible had happened to you, but now that we are on our way to the place, why don't you tell me exactly what I have to do?"
"It's not something complicated. I know you are prepared for it."
