*~Gabrielle's POV~*
We laid a very huge mat on the floor and Lucien sat down, his body already shaking as it was immensely cold. And then he unbuttoned his coat and then I wrapped my bare hands around him while we laid on the floor glaring at the moon.
"So this is what we are going to do. Stare at the moon all night and wait for random rogues, rogue wolves to come out and tear our heads off," I complained bitterly.
"Probably," Lucien said while taking the strands of hair off my face.
"Ugh, I don't want that to happen," I said while he nodded.
"No one wants that. But we have barely started and here you are complaining already."
"Of course I would complain. This is our life in danger. Even if wolves come out, I will protect them," I mocked.
"You are shaking, barely stable, and you need me to touch you in order to keep you warm."
"Hey, don't mock me." He sneered at me like a child.
"Oh, I am not mocking you. I am just stating a fact." I rolled my eyes.
