Chapter 89 - Alaric.

It has been almost a whole day, and we have not caught sight of Azazel since. It is almost as if she has disappeared. But it is not even up to a day, so we still have our hopes high. Shirley sighed beside me as we were having breakfast table.

"When is Lucien going to be back?" she asked for the hundredth time, and I turned.

"I don't know. He's out there with his wife, living his life. Whatever he's doing does not really concern us."

"Well," she rolled her eyes. "I'm starving. And he promised to give me his blood. So where is he?"

"I think he's at that mistletoe collecting blood for my younger brother. Your job here is done. You can go now."

"Go? You guys used me as bait to collect it too, which is now broken. Do you think if I go, the Salvatores won't catch me and then punish me for it?"

"Fine." I rolled my eyes.

As we were continuing to eat, she kept making noise, hitting her fork on her plate.

"Will you stop that? Will you stop that?" I said, and then she glared.
