Chapter 2 - New Birth (Part 2)

Upon hearing the strange noise, I started to hear a loud banging in my head. Everywhere started to get blurry; the whole process was so painful that I started to scream, then fainted out of exhaustion. When I woke up, I found myself in a different place entirely from where I came from. There were statues that seemed to look like demons with wings, all putting their hands together. Not knowing what to do, I decided to explore the place a bit. As I began to walk, I saw that each of the statues' hands started to light up a dark flame when moving forward. At first, I was scared to move forward, thinking I would be attacked by them, but I wasn't. So, I thought I was being directed somewhere and decided to continue moving forward. As the flames continued to ignite, the place started to get clearer. I came to realize it was a throne room, and in the middle, there was a large throne sitting there, which looked so ominous that, for the first time being in that place, I started to feel scared for my life. But, yet again, it still felt familiar, like I had seen it before. "This is all strange," I said to myself. At the end of the day, I approached it, not thinking of the worst that could happen, after all, I am already trapped there. Right from when I was young, I always lacked this fear of death, as though it meant nothing to me. Sometimes, I think it maybe because of my troubled past and my mum abandoning me, or maybe that's just who I am. Because of that, Clara always called me reckless and had to look out for me.

I ended up touching the throne, and immediately, an energy took hold of me and made me sit on the chair. Then, all the statues that surrounded the throne room's eyes started to light up, and they started moving towards the throne themselves. I tried to get up, but it was practically impossible because of the energy keeping me in the seat, and the pains I could feel through my body. It felt like a hundred knives were stabbing my insides, and all I could do was scream at the top of my voice. When the statues reached the front of the throne, they all bowed down, and the one in the middle said, "Welcome back, Lord Zorvath, the Dark Omnipotence.
