"That's terrible!"
Tony responded to Optimus Prime's grim prediction. The thought of countless Decepticons like the ones he had encountered in Afghanistan made him feel that the Earth was in grave danger.
"How did your Cybertronian stuff end up on Earth anyway?" Tony asked, his tone laced with frustration.
"We do not know why," Optimus replied gravely. "But our detection instruments show that the Allspark is on Earth."
Tony's eyes lit up when he heard that. "Do you have a way to locate the Allspark?" he asked.
"Yes, we have equipment that can detect the energy fluctuations of the Allspark, but its accuracy is relative to the vastness of the universe. We can only locate it to the planet Earth; we can't pinpoint it any further." Optimus Prime said honestly.
Tony spread his hands and said proudly, "I'm an expert in the field of mechanical electronics, and energy is also my primary area of research. You can give me the device to study. Perhaps I can improve the accuracy of its positioning."
Optimus Prime pondered for a few seconds, then turned to look at Ratchet. "Give him the device. This might be our best chance to find the Allspark before the Decepticons do."
Ratchet's body shifted, the armor on his chest opening up to reveal a black box, which he carefully removed. "We have observed a large amount of residual energy from the Allspark source on Earth, which is why we are certain that the Allspark is on this planet."
Tony took the black box and looked at the Cybertronian instrument with intense curiosity. This was a technology he had never seen before, just like the Autobots standing in front of him. However, he was supremely confident that with his genius intellect, he could quickly improve this machine.
Tony asked Ratchet, "Ratchet, could you explain this device to me? It would be even better if you could explain how it works."
"No problem," Ratchet began. "It's called the Source Core Instrument. It can synchronize with the energy generated by the Spark Source and establish a state of quantum entanglement. Under the influence of the Spark Source's energy, surrounding objects will experience a decrease in entropy..."
Ratchet started to explain the device to Tony, and the two of them soon walked aside, completely engrossed in their discussion as if no one else was around, leaving Optimus Prime and Ironhide to the side.
"Is this what they call a technician?" Optimus Prime asked his adjutant, Ironhide, who simply shook his head, indicating that he didn't know either.
Optimus Prime did not disturb Tony and Ratchet, who were deeply immersed in their research. Instead, he left the laboratory through the large hole in the wall, sat on a nearby utility shed, and looked up at the moon hanging in the night sky.
After an unknown amount of time, he suddenly received an urgent message from Bumblebee.
"Ironhide, Bumblebee's in trouble!"
"Optimus Prime, what happened?" Ironhide asked with concern.
Optimus Prime said seriously, "The target Bumblebee went to investigate was attacked by the Decepticons. Now, Bumblebee is fleeing with the target. The situation is not optimistic."
In fact, many Autobots had come to Earth. Bumblebee had mentioned that he had found a clue about the source of the fire, so he had gone to investigate it alone.
"It seems that the clue he mentioned was genuine," Ironhide concluded after thinking it over.
Optimus said, "We will go and support Bumblebee now."
"What about here?" Ironhide looked toward the laboratory.
"Ratchet is not skilled in combat, so let him stay here and continue his research with Stark," Optimus Prime decided.
The two Autobots immediately transformed back into their truck and pickup truck forms and rushed toward Bumblebee's location.
In Queens, a fierce chase was taking place. A dilapidated yellow Chevrolet was speeding down the road, weaving past one vehicle after another. Behind it, two Decepticons disguised as police cars were relentlessly pursuing the yellow car. Not only that, the two Decepticons were also using their mounted machine guns and artillery shells to continuously harass the yellow car, and the distance between them was closing rapidly.
Sam, inside the car, was extremely anxious and kept looking back to observe the distance between him and the Decepticons. He anxiously urged the car on. "Hurry up, Bumblebee! They're catching up! Watch out ahead!"
A helicopter appeared over the road ahead, and with a distorted, mechanical sound, its machine gun muzzle was aimed directly at Bumblebee.
Da da da da.
Countless bullets poured down. Amid Sam's screams, the rear wheels of the yellow, worn-out Chevrolet lifted up, and with the sound of mechanical transformation, it morphed into a robot more than five meters tall.
Bumblebee grabbed Sam with one hand and snatched an unmanned car parked on the side of the road with the other, using it as a shield to block all the incoming attacks.
"You... run... I'll... hold them back!" Bumblebee spoke to Sam intermittently. His language module had been damaged in a previous battle, and he could only communicate with Sam by constantly changing the channels on the car's radio.
Without much hesitation, Sam gripped the backpack in his hand tightly and ran toward the buildings on the side of the road. He knew that he could not help Bumblebee in this fight, and staying would only hold him back. Sam knew that the enemy was after the glasses in his hand. They were his great-grandfather's glasses. Bumblebee had told him that there was an important message hidden on them and that the Decepticons must not be allowed to get them.
It turned out that Sam's decision to run toward the buildings was a good one. The relatively small and enclosed spaces effectively limited the Decepticons' pursuit.
Bumblebee held back one police car Decepticon and the helicopter Decepticon, while the other police car Decepticon chased after Sam. Bumblebee, the king of Cybertronian scouts, seemed to be struggling against the siege of two Decepticons, but fortunately, he had rich combat experience and high raw power, so he managed to hold on for the time being.
Sam shuttled through the buildings, and the Decepticon chased him from behind. However, due to the tight spaces, the pursuing Decepticon could only destroy the buildings on both sides as it tried to chase him down.
Sam looked back and found that he was getting farther and farther away from the enemy. He breathed a sigh of relief, his body no longer so tense. "It seems running this way was the right decision!" Sam mentally praised himself for his cleverness, when suddenly he felt the ground begin to shake violently. The manhole cover in front of him also began to vibrate.
"No way!" Sam had a very bad feeling.
Suddenly, the manhole cover was blown off, and a huge robot smashed the ground around the opening, appearing directly in front of Sam.
"Human, hand over the information about the Allspark!" As he spoke, the Decepticon stretched out his high-speed rotating mechanical arm, holding it menacingly in front of Sam, as if he would crush his head if he didn't hand it over.
Sam quickly moved the bag in his hand behind his back and said with a stiff, forced smile, "Mr. Robot, calm down! Calm down! I don't know anything about the Allspark. I'm just an ordinary person!"
"Yeah?" The Decepticon in front of him obviously didn't believe him. The high-speed rotating mechanical arm moved down, came to Sam's chest, and then slowly approached.
Sam didn't dare to move, for he was afraid that if he so much as flinched, the robot in front of him would pierce him through.
With a ripping sound, the clothes on Sam's chest were torn to pieces, and his flesh was also scratched, causing blood to gush out.
"Hiss!" Sam gasped, but still gritted his teeth, ready to fight to the death.
"Bonecrusher, what are you doing?" There was a sound from behind him, and then Sam felt something snatch the bag from his hand.
"This kid is so protective of the bag in his hand. The stuff must be inside. You should use your brain, Bonecrusher!"
