Chapter 1 - Awakening in the Void

In the dim glow of a flickering holographic console, Li Feng's eyes snapped open. A dull ache pulsed behind his temples as alien memories flooded his mind—memories that weren't his own. The life of a dead miner from a forgotten world called Terra Nova flickered through his consciousness in broken fragments.

"Transmigration? That can't be real," he muttered, pushing himself upright inside the cramped cockpit of a derelict shuttle.

The year was 3047 of the Universal Calendar—an era when humanity drifted across the Fractured Nebula Seas, scavenging what remained of a shattered cosmos. Millennia ago, the omniverse had cracked like a cosmic egg, scattering fragments of existence—Stellar Debris—through the void. From those remnants, new powers had risen: the metallic Hive Minds of the Cyber Nexus, the ethereal Spirit Clans of the Arcane Drift, and the brutal Warlords of the Adamantine Empire.

Among these drifting ruins, treasures known as Nebula Curiosities granted godlike abilities to those daring enough to claim them.

Li Feng blinked away the haze and glanced at the holographic panel embedded in his wrist. His neural implant—every citizen's basic status interface—flickered to life.

[User: Li Feng] [Rank: Ember Tier 0 – Novice Voyager] [Ship: Rusty Glider (Damaged Shadow Glider Prototype)] [Resources: 50 Neutron Shards, 10 Quantum Scrap] [Special Asset: Eternal Void Emporium (Bound – Level 1)]

"The Emporium?" he murmured. "What's that supposed to be?"

As if answering, an ethereal portal shimmered open within his mind—a vast marketplace adrift in dimensional limbo. Endless aisles floated before him, lined with holographic listings: Biotech Serums – 100 Neutron Diamonds, Augmented Armor Blueprints – 500 Quantum Alloys. Traders from across the Nebula Seas flickered as spectral silhouettes, each waiting for an invitation.

A slow grin spread across his face. "A private, bound market in the void... this might just be my golden ticket."

But first—survival.

The shuttle drifted near a small field of Stellar Debris, asteroids glowing faintly with mineral energy. Perfect for scavenging—if not for the pirate drones that prowled these zones.

Li Feng exhaled, steadying his nerves. "One thing at a time."

He flicked the ignition. The battered engines groaned, and the Rusty Glider shuddered forward, cutting through the void toward a luminous asteroid. The mining laser hummed to life, its light reflecting in his visor.

"Time to grind some resources."

Then—beep.

A crimson blip pulsed on his radar. Unidentified signal, closing fast.

Li Feng's grin faded. "Guess I'm not alone after all."
