The Rating Game was over.
Rias's team had won, just as everyone expected.
Draconis blew apart half of Riser's body with a single punch. But between the regenerative power of his phoenix blood and the near-miraculous healing of Phenex Tears, Riser's life was never in danger.
Still, judging by the hollow look in his eyes, Draconis had left him with more than a few scars—psychological ones included.
This guy didn't pull any punches.
When the crowd saw Riser's body explode, the same thought flashed through their minds:
Draconis really doesn't mess around.
As the victors, Rias and her team got their wish. For now, she'd escaped the marriage her family tried to force on her.
She tried to play it cool, but the joy in her eyes was impossible to hide.
With Draconis and Asia in tow, Rias stepped out of the alternate dimension and found Akeno Himejima and Koneko Toujou waiting.
"Are your injuries okay?" she asked.
"Hehe, all healed up," Akeno replied, her gaze lingering on Draconis. "And we got front-row seats to someone showing off."
Draconis grinned, his mood much lighter now that Rias's headache was finally solved.
"Did anyone get my heroic moment on camera?" he joked.
"Hmm? Well, does saving it in my memory count?" Akeno teased, her eyes sparkling.
"Just promise to replay it every day. Don't forget," Draconis shot back, and everyone laughed. The tension was gone.
Of course, not everyone was happy. Ravel stormed over, cheeks puffed in indignation.
"That was way too much!"
Riser had always been the brother who doted on her most. Seeing him so thoroughly wrecked—and, apparently, traumatized—was more than she could take.
Draconis glanced at her, voice cool.
"He made Rias miserable for long enough. Honestly, I went easy on him."
Rias was right beside him, and his words made her eyes shimmer with emotion.
If there weren't so many people around, she might have jumped into his arms right then.
"Big brother was suffering too! You—you don't understand what it's like for devils…" Ravel protested, sounding defeated.
"I don't want to," Draconis replied, not even bothering to argue.
He flicked his wrist, summoning the silver Sigil of Suppression.
"This is over. I'm done talking about it. Don't bug me, or I'll strip you and toss you out."
Ravel's eyes went wide. She'd seen firsthand how terrifying that little silver seal could be.
Her brother's servants still cursed Draconis's sigil every chance they got.
She definitely didn't want to experience a public wardrobe malfunction.
She bolted, not waiting to see if he was serious.
Draconis stowed the sigil, watching her retreat with a shake of his head.
After this, he'd probably be public enemy number one among the local girls…
But so what? If he needed to use it, he would.
And honestly, watching a beautiful girl's clothes explode wasn't exactly hard on the eyes…
"Rias, let's get out of here."
He turned to her, but Rias hesitated, biting her lip.
"Um… my brother might want to see you."
"Your brother… Lucifer?" Draconis frowned, already guessing. "Because of the dual-class thing?"
"That's the main reason. But he's worried about me, too."
Rias sighed. She'd known Draconis's unique Evil Piece status would cause a stir.
Now that it was out in the open, it was only a matter of time before the higher-ups came calling.
"You checked it yourself, didn't you? No leads, right?"
Draconis wasn't keen on being poked and prodded like some rare animal.
Rias seemed to agree. She grabbed his hand.
"Then let's ignore him. From now on, your time belongs to me."
She smiled, a little mischievous, a little possessive.
Only with Draconis could she be so bold—even defying the Demon Lord himself.
Of course, only she could get away with it.
Perks of being Lucifer's little sister…
"Let's hurry, or they'll come looking for us," Rias whispered, waving Akeno and the others over.
They slipped away with a teleportation spell, vanishing before anyone could stop them.
Elsewhere, Sirzechs listened as Grayfia delivered her report.
"They're gone?"
Sirzechs chuckled, shaking his head. "That girl… never lets me relax."
"Should I go fetch them?"
"No need. Let her enjoy herself a little longer. Now's not the time to interrupt."
He smiled, thinking of how Rias had finally escaped her family's plans.
"As for her servant…" Sirzechs mused, a sly grin forming, "Looks like I'll have to pay the human world a visit myself."

Back in the human world, at Kuoh Academy—
The Occult Research Club was throwing a party.
"Cheers!!"
Glasses clinked, laughter filled the room.
They'd solved Rias's long-standing marriage problem, and she'd won her first Rating Game.
Her opponent had been Riser Phenex—a full-fledged adult devil, a veteran of many games.
Rias's victory was a statement to the entire devil world.
"In this battle, Draconis deserves the biggest share of credit," Rias said, smiling at him, her eyes soft and warm.
"You were right. You've never let me down."
Draconis smiled back, tapping his glass to hers.
"And I never will."
"Ara ara~ If you keep flirting, Rias might not be able to resist just giving herself to you~" Akeno teased, voice lilting.
Rias's cheeks flushed. "Akeno!"
"Hehe… Am I wrong? Even I'm tempted. Rias, you can't say you haven't felt it, right?"
Akeno's gaze sparkled with mischief as she turned to Rias.
"If you don't want him, I'll confess first, you know?"
"In your dreams." Rias shot back, smiling with playful defiance.
"Draconis is my most adorable servant. He's mine."
Akeno's eyes lingered on Draconis, thoughtful and a little distant.
Draconis caught her look, meeting her gaze.
She blinked, then gave him a gentle, alluring smile.
Akeno sighed inwardly. She hadn't actually told Rias the truth—her words weren't just teasing.
Watching Draconis fight for Rias, she felt a pang of envy… and more than a little longing.
Honestly… she really liked this side of Draconis, too.
