"Old Poison, what do you plan to do?" Chrysanthemum Douluo asked.
"Tomorrow afternoon I'll pretend to have just learned of the incident and personally go to Heaven Dou Royal Academy," Dugu Bo replied. "I'll negotiate with the Elders to move into the academy dormitory to protect Xiao Hai, and at the same time, I'll have them send invitations to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and Spirit Hall for a meeting to explain the changes in my body."
"You're not inviting the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. So your intent is…" Chrysanthemum Douluo's eyes flickered in realization.
"Exactly. Tonight's incident, I'll pin it on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. That way, I'll have prepared ground for future moves." Dugu Bo sneered. "I've endured time and again, but some people repeatedly cross the line. Then I won't be polite. Outsiders won't have cause to wag their tongues."
"That works," Chrysanthemum Douluo nodded. "Tomorrow I'll be there in person. As for my presence in Heaven Dou City, there's no need for much explanation. Everyone knows of the grudge between us. Not explaining will actually make it less suspicious."
Dugu Bo nodded. "Then it's settled."
"I've also written back to Spirit City, requesting permission from Her Holiness the Pope to remain stationed in Heaven Dou City temporarily," Chrysanthemum Douluo added. "From now on, you and I will work one in the open, one in the shadows, inside and outside. It'll be easier to act and provide more insurance."
"Good." Dugu Bo gave a small nod.

Meanwhile, in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's back hall, Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Bone Douluo sat together.
"Fengzhi, what do you make of tonight's matter?" Sword Douluo asked first.
"There's something off," Ning Fengzhi frowned. "For someone to brazenly trespass into Heaven Dou Royal Academy—The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan shouldn't be that reckless. Spirit Hall, like us, has no reason to. They'd prefer to reap the fisherman's benefit. As for this intruder, I can't quite place who it might be."
"Could it have been Tang Hao?" Bone Douluo interjected suddenly. "Don't forget, Tang San's Martial Soul is also Blue Silver Grass. Back in Suotuo City, that boy was beaten by Yang Yunhai."
"No way, right? The great Clear Sky Douluo stooping to such petty tricks?" Sword Douluo was stunned.
"It's not impossible," Ning Fengzhi said thoughtfully. "After all, he is still a father."
Sword Douluo fell silent.
'If I heard someone possessed a Martial Soul like the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, and through rare herbs evolved it further… For the sake of Rongrong, for the sake of myself, wouldn't I also act without restraint?'
"No matter the case, it doesn't concern us. Let them handle it," Bone Douluo said flatly.
Sword Douluo nodded slightly and said no more.

In the Heaven Dou Palace, inside the Emperor's chamber.
Smack!
Emperor Xue Ye slammed the table, his face red with fury. "Intolerable!"
The steward beside him, who had come to deliver the Royal Knight commander's report, trembled with fear.
If not for His Majesty's order that all matters concerning Heaven Dou Royal Academy be reported at once, he would never have dared to come at this time. It was the first time he had ever seen the Emperor so angry.
---
The night passed without further incident.
The next morning, at Shrek Academy, Flender went to find Yu Xiaogang.
"Xiaogang, I just got word—apparently last night, some expert infiltrated Heaven Dou Royal Academy."
'Could it be…' A flash of light passed through Yu Xiaogang's eyes, though his tone stayed calm. "With the academy suddenly on full lockdown and such a heavy formation, it's normal someone would want to sneak in and find out. But this has nothing to do with us. Best not to involve ourselves."
"Alright." Flender nodded, lifting his teacup for a leisurely sip.
But soon, rapid footsteps came from outside.
"Bad news, Dean! Tai Long's grandfather is here!" A voice sounded before the man entered.
Pfft!
Flender choked on his tea, coughing as he grabbed tissues, muttering as he got up and strode toward the door. "Didn't they say they'd accept defeat? First the kid gets beaten and the father comes, then the father gets beaten and now the grandfather shows up?"
Back when Xiao Wu had just joined the academy, Tai Long had taken an interest in her. Seeing her close to Tang San, he first thought Tang San was her real brother. Upon learning otherwise, he began viewing Tang San as a rival.
Later, Xiao Wu mentioned Tai Long often harassed her when Tang San wasn't around, so Tang San, angered, agreed to a duel.
The result was predictable: Tai Long was thoroughly beaten.
Next day, his father Tai Nuo came to challenge Tang San, only to be taken down by Tang San's hidden weapons. According to Zhao Wuji, he was injured badly but healed after treatment by the academy's healer. He left in defeat.
And now the grandfather had come? Flender was speechless.
"Let's go take a look." Yu Xiaogang's eyes gleamed, and he walked out with large strides.
"Yin Shu, where is he?" Flender asked the instructor who had delivered the message.
"At the training ground," Yin Shu quickly replied.
Without further words, Flender and Yu Xiaogang hurried off, Yin Shu following close behind.
After about fifteen minutes, they reached the academy's newly refurbished exclusive training field in the back mountain.
"???" What met their eyes was a towering elder kneeling respectfully before Tang San.
"What's going on?" Flender was shocked.
"Dean, that old man is Tai Long's grandfather, Tai Tan," Yin Shu whispered.
---
Half an hour later, in the rest area beside the training ground, the Shrek group watched Tai Tan and his family depart.
"Third Brother, I never imagined… You're actually the heir of the Clear Sky Sect and even possess the rare twin Martial Souls."
Ma Hongjun's face was still full of awe. Then he grinned, trying to ingratiate himself. "Third Brother, I'm your loyal little brother. You've got to look after me from now on."
"Shameless!" Flender smacked the fatty on the back of his head.
"I also never expected to have such a background. Father never told me anything," Tang San said with a wry smile.
"Xiao San, your father must have his reasons for not saying. When he's ready, he'll reveal it himself," Yu Xiaogang reassured.
Tang San nodded, a small smile forming. "Teacher, thanks to Senior Tai Tan's pressure earlier, my external soul bone, the Eight Spider Lances, has now fully fused with my body. On top of that, my soul power advanced. I'm now rank 34."
"Such a benefit!?" Flender was shocked. "If I'd known, I'd have tried it on you earlier."
"It might still work later," Tang San said with a spark of inspiration. "Dean, maybe enduring powerful pressure really helps with cultivation. When I was under it, it felt like carrying heavy weights all over."
Yu Xiaogang's eyes lit up and he nodded. "That can be tested later."
"Heh, and of course I'll be the one to do it." Zhao Wuji's gaze swept across the students, his brows rising.
Flender rolled his eyes. "Old Zhao, don't overdo it. Don't crush the kids."
"Alright, there's still time. Qin Ming, take everyone back to training," Yu Xiaogang ordered.
"Yes!" Qin Ming nodded, calling the team back to drills.
Time passed quickly, and soon it was noon.
After lunch and a short rest, Ning Rongrong and Yu Tianheng both left the dormitory one after another.
