Yang Yunhai smiled faintly, his right palm snapping downward. The lightning orb above his head shot forth.
"Go!"
"Damn it!" Tang San's eyes went blood-red. He quickly activated Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, darting away. Yang Yunhai's Martial Soul True Body granted flight, but the soul power consumption had to be immense. Tang San refused to believe Yang Yunhai could stay in the air forever. All he had to do was endure—wait for an opening.
He risked a glance back—and froze.
The lightning orb was following him.
"Third soul skill, Spider Web Restraint!" Tang San slammed a palm into the ground, blue light flashing.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—countless vines erupted from the ground.
"Blue Silver Thrust Array!" The vines formed a conical spear formation, stabbing at the lightning orb. At the same time, they wrapped around Tang San, enclosing him in a giant cone-shaped vine shell.
Yang Yunhai sneered. Lightning wasn't solid—it was energy. It didn't need to make contact to explode. Raising his hand slowly, he pointed at the sky.
Rumble, rumble, rumble! Thunder roared as the storm above surged. Lightning arcs gathered, turning the darkness into blinding light.
Below, the lightning orb was pierced by vines.
But it didn't explode. Instead, it expanded rapidly, passing straight through. Crackle, crackle, crackle—lightning shredded every vine it touched. In the blink of an eye, the orb grew to six meters wide, crashing to the ground.
The vine shell shattered, exposing Tang San inside. Lightning arced wildly across his body, numbing every muscle. His jaw clenched tight—he couldn't speak, couldn't move.
'Am I going to die?' His body refused to respond, yet he could see the lightning storm intensifying overhead, every bolt locked onto him.
Bitter hatred welled in his chest. His gaze burned with resentment as it fixed on Yang Yunhai.
'Yang Yunhai—even if I become a vengeful ghost, I will never let you go!'
In that fleeting moment, Flender noticed Tang San's exposed figure. His instincts screamed something was wrong. He shouted, "Conce—"
"Brat, how dare you harm my child? Get lost!"
The deep, furious voice exploded from all directions. A crushing pressure swept across the arena. Yang Yunhai, prepared and vigilant, reacted instantly—his figure flashed, soaring toward Dugu Bo, avoiding the full brunt of the soul power pressure.
From the corner of his eye, a streak of black light shot diagonally down at incredible speed.
Boom! The soul pressure targeted not only Yang Yunhai but Tang San as well. The youth's body was blasted upward by the impact.
Yang Yunhai didn't hesitate. Golden light flickered in his eyes.
Rumble, rumble, rumble! The entire city seemed to ignite as a pillar of lightning as thick as a water tank split the heavens, crashing down toward Tang San.
Boom, boom!
Twin explosions erupted almost simultaneously.
The next moment, darkness returned. Tang San's body slammed into the ground, rolling across the dirt and leaving a long trail of blood.
Nearby were two craters—one charred black and crackling with lightning arcs, the other holding a black Clear Sky Hammer glowing faintly with blood-red light.
'Separated…' Yang Yunhai frowned slightly. Tang San had been flung through the air at great speed. It wasn't easy to hit him cleanly. Still, Tang Hao hadn't held back—his strike had been ruthless.
Tang San lay unconscious, blood trickling from his lips—his internal organs clearly injured.
Yang Yunhai's gaze shifted. Xiao Wu was sprinting toward Tang San. In the sky, Tang Hao strode downward, stepping on air.
"A mighty Titled Douluo stooping to strike a junior—have you no shame?" Yang Yunhai angled toward the viewing platform, where Dugu Bo immediately arrived to shield him, his eyes cold as he glared at Tang Hao.
If not for the timing—if not for the need to remain hidden before confronting the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan—Yang Yunhai would've been tempted to smash Tang Hao's skull right then. The man's soul bones were too valuable. But here, in front of the Pope's Hall, killing him meant the bones wouldn't belong to them.
Tang Hao ignored him. His gaze flicked briefly at Yang Yunhai before fixing on Bibi Dong, who was rising to her feet, her face cold with fury.
"Bibi Dong, if you wish to avenge your teacher, you can try. But don't delude yourself—you cannot keep me here."
Bibi Dong didn't answer. Her scepter slammed into the ground. From within the Pope's Hall, four Titled Douluo shot forth.
"Big brother, should we…?" Golden Crocodile Douluo frowned.
"No need," Qian Daoliu said flatly. "Leave Tang Hao to that boy."
"If I'm right, he'll soon deliver Spirit Hall a great gift. Perhaps the Upper Three Sects will soon become two."
"If Bibi Dong wishes to act, let her." His golden aura flickered as he vanished.
"???" The other worshippers exchanged puzzled looks, unsure what he meant.
In midair, Tang Hao's nine soul rings rose around him, his gaze sharp as blades. "Seven Titled Douluo—truly, Spirit Hall deserves its name. But you think seven of you can stop me? Foolish!"
He stretched his hand. The Clear Sky Hammer lying in the crater flew into his grasp. Black light flared as the hammer swelled, its shaft stretching hundreds of meters, its head looming like a mountain.
Blood-red lines surfaced, his 100,000 year ring blazing. The Clear Sky Hammer turned crimson.
"Pope's Hall, is it? Hahahaha!" Tang Hao's laughter boomed as he swung the colossal weapon.
'What a farce. If you're so bold, why not strike Bibi Dong directly instead of posturing?' Yang Yunhai's eyes gleamed with disdain, golden arcs dancing as storm clouds raged overhead.
Rumble, rumble, rumble! Thunder rolled endlessly as darkness swallowed the city.
"Tang Hao, you dare!" Bibi Dong roared, leading six Titled Douluo upward to meet him.
'Go on, put on your show. Next time, let's see if you're still this brave.' Chrysanthemum Douluo smirked coldly, lifting his hand alongside Ghost Douluo.
Boom!
The deafening explosion rocked the heavens, shockwaves blasting outward. Soul Masters below rank 70 fainted instantly.
Dugu Bo raised a hand, earthy-yellow light forming a dome that shielded Yang Yunhai and his team from the blast.
In the distance, seven figures—Bibi Dong included—were hurled backward. The giant hammer dissolved into nothingness.
"Bibi Dong! Spirit Hall owes me. One day, I'll collect every debt. That day isn't far off!" Tang Hao landed heavily, scooping up Tang San and Xiao Wu before soaring away.
But then—
A voice whispered directly into his ear, one only he could hear.
"Tang Hao… the Blue Silver Emperor right leg bone of your wife, Ah Yin, is in my possession. And I must say—it's truly useful."
Tang Hao froze midair, his head snapping around. Yang Yunhai stood smiling, raising a single middle finger.
Tang Hao's vision went red.
Rumble, rumble, rumble!
Lightning exploded across the heavens. Instinctively, he dodged as a bolt as thick as a tree trunk crashed down, turning the world blinding white. A streak of black light vanished into the sky.
'Nicely done, disciple…' Chrysanthemum Douluo's brow lifted as he pressed a hand to his chest. He glanced back. "Your Holiness, shall we pursue?"
"No." Bibi Dong's face was grim. Her eyes flicked toward the unconscious Yu Xiaogang. "Summon all the academies still in Spirit City."
Tang San had been rescued, but this was the perfect chance to expose him as a fallen Soul Master. Devouring soul beasts was one thing—but draining Soul Masters' life force? That was unforgivable.
As for Xiaogang… his life could still be preserved.
"Yes, Your Holiness."
Chrysanthemum Douluo bowed and disappeared.

PS: The secret voice was only for Tang Hao. The protagonist deliberately provoked him—afraid Tang Hao might not show himself after the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan falls. But if he knows Ah Yin's spirit bone is in Yang Yunhai's possession, Tang Hao will have no choice but to come.
