Chapter 1 - [Chapter-0] Children of different worlds.

"Prince of Flaws."

A sweet yet tyrannical voice pierced the silence inside prison walls.

A girl wearing a white suit entered the prison with light steps, she was smiling with a disturbing expression on her face, her silver white hair fall head to waist like a waterfall, her crimson eyes were burning with rage.

She raised her hand and touched the chain that bind the monster, soon chains crumbled and a young man fell from his bindings.

"Prince of Flaws, i will give you freedom, become my follower." She spoke as she pat his messy hairs and head.

"Breaking my chains, just to bind me in other? Do you really think you can achieve that, Scarlet? How foolish." Prince of Flaws grabbed her hand and threw her out of prison, with this his attacks started.

Countless chains emerged from his shadow and attacked her like ferocious serpents. Prince of Flaws started laughing madly as he moved his body freely after being imprisoned from his birth.

Scarlet let out a sigh of disappointment and anger as she blinked her eye and copied his attack. Two attacks of same destructive power collided, destroying the whole prison.

"To think only two of his attacks can destroy Devil sealing prison. I guess Father was right about him." Scarlet kept fighting the prince as some memories emerged in her mind.

"Prince of Flaws, just what is he?" Scarlet asked her father with a mix of curiosity and excitement in her voice.

"Prince of Flaws, huh? Eighteen years ago, on the final day of the Thirteenth Epoch, a boy was born—a child whose arrival shook all three realms. The moment he took his first breath, a dark eclipse spread across the sky, its shadow drowning the realms in gloom. Storm clouds burst open with relentless rain, the ground cracked wide, and entire crowds were swallowed by the earth.

On that day, every living being felt a fear unlike anything before—the fear of death, and the fear of what they could not understand.

For three days, chaos ruled the realms. But just as suddenly as it began, everything stopped. The reason was simple, yet unbelievable: during that same calamity, another child had been born—a girl whose presence brought perfect balance and harmony, calming the storm that had consumed the world.

When the calamity ended, the people gave each child a name.

The boy became Eclipse—Eclipse of Shadow, the Prince of Flaws.

The girl became Scarlet—Scarlet of Love, the Princess of the Moon.

From birth, the prince was imprisoned and feared.

The princess was loved, praised, and worshipped."

~Present time~

The chain snapped against Scarlet's hand, but she grabbed it tightly and pulled hard. The attacker flew toward her, and she punched him square in the face. He fell to the ground, knocked out cold.

Scarlet smiled and leaned down. She kissed him softly, and under the quiet moonlight, silver light flowed from her lips into his body. It slipped into his chest and formed a glowing seal over his heart.

"To think the Prince of Flaws would be this easy to control," she said, laughing in a sharp, unfitting way for someone believed to be the Moon Goddess's avatar. "I can't reach your mind or feelings yet, but I can command your body."

The prince slowly opened his eyes.

His vision shook. His heart raced painfully fast, not from fear—but from something warm and strange spreading through his chest. He felt dizzy, breathless, his cheeks burning. For a moment, he thought he might cry, though he didn't know why.

'She touched me… someone actually touched me.'

He had spent his whole life locked away, treated like a monster. No one had ever looked at him like a person. No one had ever come close enough to touch him, let alone kiss him. The warmth in his chest felt unreal—like something he was never meant to have.

His body felt light, weak, and safe all at once. When Scarlet reached out and patted his head, he didn't pull away. Instead, he leaned closer without meaning to, desperate for the gentle contact he had never known.

'Please don't stop.'

The words echoed in his mind, though he could not speak them.

"…Wow. I didn't expect the prince to be this weird," Scarlet muttered.

A loud alarm suddenly rang through the prison.

"Damn it—they found us!" Scarlet grabbed his hand and started running.

His fingers tightened around hers.

Her hand was warm—so warm that it hurt a little. No one had ever held his hand before. Part of him was terrified she would let go. Part of him hoped she never would.

They jumped onto a floating ship, and Scarlet took the controls. The ship lifted into the sky, cutting through the cold night air.

Scarlet grinned. "This journey is going to be interesting."

The prince looked at her quietly, his cheeks still red. His heart felt full for the first time in his life. He didn't know if it was love, gratitude, or simple desperation—but he couldn't look away from her.

'If she stays with me… maybe I won't be alone anymore.'

No one was there to see it, but in that moment, something small and fragile began to bloom inside him—a seed of hope, or love, or maybe both.

'Did I just fall in love?'

The feeling hit him so hard his knees gave out. He collapsed, shaking from emotions he could not control.

Scarlet looked down at him, smiling softly.

Such an amusing guy, she thought. He didn't know she could read his thoughts—and if he did, he might die from embarrassment.

People might find it unbelievable, the child of shadows and unstability falling in love with child of Moon, harmony and balance.

Scarlet brushed his hair gently.

"Get up, prince. This is only the beginning."

He looked up at her, heart pounding, wishing the moment would never end.
