"This guy is not simple! You two brats, let's attack together!" the Five‑Tails Jinchuriki, Han, shouted, recognizing the gravity of the situation.
For a ninja, not knowing an opponent's abilities is a grave error. Han had already unleashed the full extent of his Steam powers, yet he remained uncertain about Ashveil's strength.
The two Jonin flanking him immediately drew their weapons and hurled them at Ashveil. Yet the projectiles vanished upon striking Ashveil's Conqueror's Haki barrier.
"It seems his ability lasts a very long time; we must keep attacking!" one of the Jonin said, forming a plan on the spot.
Here, Ashveil silently admired the strategic minds of the Shinobi World. Unlike the pirates of the Pirate World, who often acted on instinct, these shinobi analyzed the enemy meticulously before engaging. A commendable trait, yet utterly futile against him.
Shuriken and other projectiles rained down, striking Ashveil's barrier. He merely smiled faintly. His Conqueror's Haki was unlike the Deva Path summoned by Nagato; it was continuous, unwavering, and limitless. Breaking it was a fool's endeavor.
After exhausting every technique in their arsenal, the two Jonin finally paused, frustration etched across their faces.
"This Akatsuki member… I didn't expect his ability to be endless, with no cooldown. How are we supposed to overcome him?" one muttered.
"Every Ninjutsu has a weakness," the other reasoned. "Perhaps it consumes immense Chakra. If we can deplete his reserves, we may achieve victory."
Ashveil only smiled lightly. Their reasoning was not entirely wrong, but draining him? Impossible.
"If you want to try, come at me," Ashveil said with a playful smirk.
"Boil Release: Unrivaled Strength!" Han roared, his entire body surging with Chakra, his strength amplified further by his Tailed Beast transformation. He struck directly at Ashveil.
The two Jonin panicked. "This foolish Akatsuki member is going straight into danger!"
"This is the power of the Five‑Tails! He will surely die if hit!" they exclaimed, worry written across their faces.
Ashveil remained calm, his confidence unwavering. With a simple gesture, he activated his Conqueror's Haki and extended his invisible power.
Boom!!!
Han's strike collided with Ashveil's barrier. The immense kick shook the Haki, yet it inflicted no real damage. Ashveil studied Han thoughtfully.
"I must admit, you possess considerable strength. You even made my Haki waver," Ashveil said with satisfaction. If Han were in the Pirate World, he would be at least Vice Admiral level. The shinobi world was indeed not weak.
"However, your opponent is me, Ashveil, someone you cannot defeat," he added, narrowing his eyes.
Using his telekinesis, Ashveil manifested a giant invisible hand behind Han. The sheer presence of it sent cold sweat across Han's forehead.
Han's attack combined his Steam power, physical might, and Tailed Beast transformation. Few could withstand it. Yet Ashveil countered it effortlessly, a terrifying display.
Even Han realized the disparity. The invisible power behind Ashveil was beyond his Boil Release—an existence he could not possibly overcome.
The two Jonin, recognizing the threat, acted swiftly.
"Alert the entire village! This Akatsuki member is far too strong!" one shouted, forming hand seals to summon defenses.
"Earth Release: Yellow Stone Defense!"
A steep mountain peak erupted from the flat ground, blocking Ashveil's invisible strike. The Jonin allowed himself a brief smile of relief.
Yet in the next instant, Ashveil's Conqueror's Haki-infused giant palm struck, sending the mountain peak flying. The Jonin watched in horror as the same hand crushed his body instantly, reducing him to dust.
