Chapter 21 G5 Night

[Nightfall · G-5 Branch]

The moon was dark, the wind was strong, and the clouds were low.

The entire G-5 base fell into an eerie, suffocating silence. The harbor lighthouse went out, and in the distance, the waves roared softly, like the gasps of a dying person.

The members of the Purification Fleet have quietly dispersed into the darkness, while the Corrupted...are still unaware of the Shinigami's arrival.

Temporary Command Hall

Rogge stood in front of the sand table, his cloak fluttering slightly, his face cold and steady.

"Tonight, we will conduct three parallel operations."

He glanced at everyone, his tone like a frosty blade unsheathed:

"Leite, take charge of the eastern section of the secret passage. Block the smuggling route and clear out all those hiding in the secret warehouse."

"Enel, attack the main logistics warehouse, targeting the arms bribery network and disguised dealers. Keep one who can speak, and the rest -"

The tone suddenly became low:

"Kill without mercy."

Lei Te clenched his fists and smiled darkly: "It's time for me to stretch my legs."

Enel raised his hand, the thunder ring on his earlobe hissing, and replied with a sneer: "Don't worry, this god will only flash once tonight."

Rogge's eyes finally fell on Scarface John's profile, and he said coldly:

"He—I'll come myself."

"As for Virgo—"

He suddenly looked up, a frightening cold light flashing in his pupils:

"Keep it."

"I want to catch a... bigger fish."

Everyone nodded silently.

[Secret Passage East Area · Secret Warehouse Passage]

The night was as dark as ink, and Rhett led the Suzheng assault team to sneak to the entrance of the secret passage.

Behind the broken iron ventilation plate, three smugglers disguised as orderlies were anxiously moving arms boxes with panicked expressions.

"Hurry! It will be too late if you delay any longer! Put the firearms into the bottom of the boat——"

boom!!!

Rhett smashed the iron door of the passage with one punch, and metal fragments flew everywhere!

The whole door flew out like paper, knocking one person over!

"You f*****g—"

"Shut up."

Rhett took a step forward, his brass knuckles flashed, and his fists were like an explosion!

BANG!!

The second man was hit in the chest by a punch. The sound of bones breaking was clear and sharp, and blood spurted out several meters!

The third man fled in panic, but was kicked over by Rhett and hit on the head with a punch, causing his skull to explode!

The shelves were stained with blood. Lei Te stood among the corpses and whispered coldly:

"Smuggling, collaborating with the enemy, betraying justice—"

"You deserve it."

[Logistics Main Warehouse·Night Raid Operation]

Enel floated down to the top of the warehouse silently, his mind network already spread out to sense the overall situation.

Four middle-level officers were supervising more than 20 soldiers to carry the firearms boxes to the back door, intending to smuggle them onto a ship and escape overnight.

"Are you sure the account books have been burned?"

"It's finished! The ship will dock in five minutes——"

Pah! !

Thunder suddenly appeared!

Lightning flashes instantly gathered in the air, blocking the entire warehouse area like a spider web!

Enel, draped in electricity, slowly descended from the sky, his silver hair flying and a stern smile on his face:

"I hate sneaky people the most."

He raised his hand, and lightning flashed like a dragon.

boom--!!!

A pillar of lightning fell from the sky, flames exploded, and thunder tore the earth apart!

The entire warehouse instantly turned into a lightning purgatory!

More than twenty people turned to charcoal in an instant, and only two people survived and fell to the ground, twitching and roaring.

Enel walked slowly down among the charred wreckage, the lightning slowly fading at his fingertips.

He said lightly:

"Leave one who can speak, the others—they can no longer speak."

The thunder of rectification came silently, and the killing intent was like a tide.

In the darkness of the night, the G-5 branch was completely torn apart by thunder and fire.

And this is just the beginning.

Main Office Building Scarface John's Hideout

Bang--!

The heavy explosion-proof door was kicked open, the cold wind rushed in, and the lights shook violently.

Scarface John suddenly raised his head, his face trembling in the candlelight.

"You—you dare to trespass into the middle-level official's residence!? I was appointed by the headquarters—"

Before he could finish his words, he was frozen by the cold gaze.

Rogge walked in slowly, his figure reflected in the corner of the house where the half-burned account books, the scattered and uncovered ammunition boxes, and the fresh corpse of Bloodline were found.

He glanced at it, his eyes were cold, and his tone was as heavy as iron:

"I support killing the Pirates who surrendered, but embezzling military funds, destroying public funds, and connecting with the black market..."

"Scarface John."

"You're the damned one."

John roared and drew his gun, his roar tearing through the fear:

"Don't think that just because your last name is Sakazuki you can—"

Bang!

The air suddenly collapsed!

Rogge raised his right hand slightly, and invisible airflow surrounded his palm!

"——Air Stripping·Chest Lock."

hiss--!

The oxygen in the room was instantly drawn out, forming a circle of compressed vacuum!

Scarface John's pupils suddenly contracted, and he opened his mouth but could not make a sound. He fell to the ground and struggled like a dead dog with its throat strangled!

In thirty seconds, his bruised and purple face was distorted beyond recognition.

For a minute, he remained motionless, his death looking grim.

Rogge leaned over and picked up a fragment of the unburned smuggling account book from the brazier, staring at it coldly for a moment.

The flames ignited the corners of the paper, and the flames licked away the bloody evidence.

"Rotten meat like you—G-5, is not needed."

[Simultaneously · G-5 Branch · Underground Passage]

The smell of gunpowder has not yet dissipated, and the smell of blood is still lingering in the ventilation ducts.

Vergo stood alone at the end of the abandoned underground passage, his knuckles rubbing against the stone wall, his cold eyes staring through the ventilation slits towards the main building.

——Scarface John, dead.

The violent and cruel mad dog didn't even have time to leave a last word before it turned into a cold corpse at the hands of Rogge.

Virgo slowly closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

At that moment, he had never understood so clearly in his heart:

[This person is a true Absolute Cleaner.]

He raised his hand and took out a special-shaped black Den Den Mushi from the inside of his military uniform. The shell was covered with a seastone coating, which could absolutely shield signal fluctuations.

With a click.

Den Den Mushi opened its eyes, a look of cynical laziness in it.

As always, that hoarse and frivolous voice slowly sounded:

"Hey hey hey hey... You're still alive, Virgo."

There was no questioning in his voice, only a smile, as if he were teasing an old friend.

Virgo smiled tiredly and replied in a low voice:

"Nonsense, I'm not one of those useless guys under your command who couldn't even run away after blowing up the warehouse."

"That guy Rogge... attacked on three fronts and killed them all."

"East District, Main Warehouse, and—Scarface John."

"It was a clean and efficient move. I almost thought I was exposed."

"But he just... didn't touch me."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the Den Den Mushi, and then a low laugh came:

"Hey hey hey hey... Rogge, that's 'the blood relative of that Magma guy'."

"You said, he deliberately let you go, was he waiting for you to betray yourself?"

Vergo responded in a low voice:

"I know. But I have no choice but to do it."

"I still have 'that thing' hidden."

"If I really want to leave, I can take it directly out of G-5."

The other end of the Den Den Mushi was silent for a few breaths, then the tone became softer:

"Virgo, you know I won't let your death be in vain."

"Ever since we were together in Northsea, you have been the person I trust the most."

"This time... I'm not sending you to your death."

"I want you to fish out that 'New Justice' and see if he's worthy of playing this game."

Virgo chuckled softly.

"I will leave, but I won't run away."

"I will take the 'evidence' and leave right under his nose."

"What you want—I'll bring it back."

Den Den Mushi slowly closed its eyes, and the communication ended.

The passage fell into silence.

Vergo stood quietly for a few seconds, then slowly put the Den Den Mushi back into his sleeve.

The next moment, he raised his left hand and slowly pulled out a colorless, poison-coated short blade from his sleeve.

The night wind suddenly stopped and my heart beat faster.

His eyes were cold: [He wants me to leave.]

[I want to see if you dare to stop me.]

The other end of the ventilation duct.

A streak of lightning, as thin as a gossamer, quietly attached itself to the imperceptible gap in the metal mesh.

[Enel · Heart Network Monitoring Status]

The silver-haired Thunder God leaned against the back edge of the tower, his eyes closed and his expression cold.

The lightning flowed quietly like a snake on his fingertips, and the lightning ring on his earlobe beat silently.

"...Donquixote,Doflamingo."

"…What's hidden?"

Enel sneered and whispered:

"It seems that I have to tell him that the fish has been hooked."

He turned around, a flash of lightning appeared, and his figure disappeared into the night.

And in the distance, Rogge stood quietly in the wind, his eyes as dark as the night.

"Release the tiger back to the mountains and set the net to hunt the king."
