Chapter 160 Return to Headquarters- Prelude to Live Execution

The morning light was like a golden thread, slowly spreading from the horizon and illuminating Dressrosa who was gradually waking up.

Rogge stood quietly on the high platform at the edge of the Palace Square.

Under the blue sky, his white Admiral cloak fluttered in the morning breeze, rustling like a silent horn.

He was holding tightly in his hand a copy of the latest battle report that had just arrived, and his pale knuckles revealed that he was not at peace at the moment.

"The Knights of God..."

There was a hint of depth and coldness in Rogge's whisper, his gaze fixed on the line of text where Shanks was rescued, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

"Rogge Admiral!"

A messenger approached quickly and announced loudly, "King Liku sincerely invites you to attend the royal restoration ceremony!"

Rogge nodded slightly and turned to look.

In the center of the square, King Riku's eyes were filled with tears as he tightly hugged Violet, who had regained her status as a princess.

Ten years of forbearance, disguise and pain were finally released at this moment. Violet buried her head deep in her father's arms, letting her tears flow quietly.

"Father... I can finally go home..."

King Riku's old face trembled slightly, and the palm that patted his daughter's back also trembled, full of emotion and pity.

"You've endured too much over the years."

As Rogge's figure gradually approached, King Riku raised his eyes filled with gratitude, bowed solemnly and said, "Admiral Rogge, Dressrosa will always remember Marine's kindness!"

There was not much emotion on Rogge's face, he just responded calmly, but a hint of tenderness flashed in his eyes.

His eyes fell on Fujitora who was walking slowly not far away.

The blind Admiral walked slowly towards him, his staff knife lightly touching the ground, a gentle and sincere smile on his lips.

"Rogge Admiral, you thought of evacuating people in such a critical moment..."

Fujitora's voice was deep and sincere. "I have great respect for you."

Rogge turned around and looked down at the square. The toy soldiers who had been in despair had regained their human form and were crying bitterly while hugging their loved ones. The whole square was filled with the long-lost laughter and crying.

He responded softly, "Our justice exists to protect the smiles and peace of these people."

Just then, a burst of hurried footsteps came from the direction of the port.

"Rogge Admiral!"

Ai En came running over, his expression serious, and he lowered his voice and said, "Marshal Sakazuki has issued a secret order requiring us to return immediately and prepare for a major event."

A sharp glance flashed across Rogge's eyes as he immediately issued an order, then nodded to King Riku. "The reconstruction of Dressrosa is in your hands."

As the Marine fleet hoisted its sails in the morning light and slowly sailed out of the port, the bells of the entire Dressrosa rang out in unison, grand and solemn.

On the high platform of the palace, King Riku, Princess Violet and the ministers lined up to bid farewell and bowed deeply and solemnly. The people behind them gathered spontaneously, shouting the names of Rogge and Fujitora.

The children chased the shadows of the Marine ships at the dock, and threw flowers into the sea with laughter, expressing their sincere respect for the Marine.

Fujitora stood quietly on the side of the ship. Even though he was blind, he could clearly feel the sincerity and warmth of the people.

He sighed softly, "What an admirable justice!"

Rogge stood at the bow, his eyes as firm as iron, staring quietly into the distance against the sea breeze.

Ion hesitated for a moment, then mustered up the courage to ask, "Admiral, regarding Buggy's public execution..."

Fujitora frowned slightly, his tone filled with confusion: "That clown Buggy? Why is he suddenly..."

Roger's sharp, resolute voice echoed across the deck: "Roger's legacy, Redhead's best friend, publicly executing Buggy is a declaration to the world—the last glimmer of the so-called Pirate King era is extinguished!"

The words were like thunder, shocking all the soldiers around!

"Immediately prepare for a worldwide live broadcast, spreading the news to every corner of the ocean."

Rogge turned his head and gazed out at the vast ocean. He said calmly, "The era of pirate fantasies has ended. From now on, absolute justice is the only truth in the ocean!"

The fleet moved forward at full speed, cutting through the turbulent waves and heading straight towards the Marine headquarters.

Behind them, the bells of Dressrosa echoed, sounding a glorious prelude to freedom, peace, and the coming new era.

High on the dock, Violet, with her purple hair fluttering, gazed at the fleet as it sailed away, gently stroking the old wound on her chest, a complex and deep emotion in her eyes.

"Goodbye, Mr. Marine..."

Her voice drifted on the wind like a whisper, gradually and gently drowned by the receding waves.

The morning light gradually dissipated, replaced by a magnificent and blazing sunrise, heralding the birth of the New World order and the impending storms on the sea.

Three days later, at dawn, the thick morning fog was broken by the twelve giant lighthouses standing tall at the port of New Marineford.

In the port square, tens of thousands of elite soldiers from the Naval Headquarters stood in neat formations as majestic as a steel jungle.

The huge Buster Call-class latest battleship, its hull reflecting a cold metallic luster in the rising sun.

As the warship's anchor chain was slowly pulled up with a loud rumbling sound, the air suddenly froze - the Haki of the three Admirals swept out at the same time, shaking the entire harbor like a raging sea.

"Welcome Admiral Guy!"

The thunderous roar resounded through the sky, and even ripples appeared on the sea surface.

At this moment, under the main tower, Zephyr, Rhett and Luo were already standing there waiting for Rogge's return.

Zephyr still stood tall, his silver hair fluttering slightly in the morning breeze, and the powerful vitality and confidence bestowed by the Phoenix Fruit were intimidating.

He folded his arms across his chest, his face serious and composed.

Leiter and Luo stood a step behind Zephyr, with faint smiles on their faces, but there was also a sharp light in their eyes.

Rogge, Fujitora, and Ian walked down the ship's ladder slowly with steady steps. Sakazuki came forward and placed his heavy hand firmly on Rogge's shoulder.

"Wasn't the lesson from Garp that year profound enough? Next time you act alone rashly..."

Rogge smiled slightly, his calm voice carrying a chilling chill: "Then the enemy will pay a greater price!"

That simple sentence sent a chill down the spines of the surrounding senior officers—the man who had personally executed Aokiji and ended the Garp legend had become Marine's sharpest and most powerful sword.

Inside the Supreme Council Chamber, Rogge calmly slammed Buggy's wanted poster on the conference table, his face stern. "The era of the Pirate King should have ended long ago."

Sakazuki's eyes were blazing, and the lava in his hands dripped onto Buggy's funny face. "You mean, a public execution?"

"Yes, and it will be broadcast live to the whole world!"

Rogge unfolded a detailed holographic map, with countless markings flashing on it, symbolizing the location of the remaining forces in the New World. "I want the whole world to clearly understand—"

"The absolute victory of justice has arrived!"

After a brief and oppressive silence, the voting process went unusually smoothly.

As all the senior executives raised their arms in agreement with the plan, thunderclouds rolled outside the window, as if announcing the birth of a new bloody era.

"Three days from now at noon,"

Sakazuki's heavy voice was as majestic as the judgment of hell. "With the blood of the Pirates, dye the dawn of the New World red!"

After the meeting, Rogge stood alone in front of the design of the execution platform, thinking.

Aien walked over quietly and respectfully handed over a blood-stained piece of the Straw Hat. "Admiral, this is a relic of the Straw Hat..."

"Hang him on the top of the execution platform." Rogge said in a nonchalant tone, but a cold murderous look flashed in his eyes. "Let all the pirates who still dare to resist remember clearly—"

"The Pirates of the new era will be wiped out!"

The voice was low and cold, resounding throughout the Supreme Council Chamber like an oath, proclaiming the coming era of absolute justice, which would ruthlessly crush all obstacles.
