Chapter 47 - Chapter 47 Your eyes are too vicious

Above the rooftop, the dim, yellow sunlight illuminated the entire street.

Below the rooftop, inside the Braun Tube Workshop, only Amane Suzuha was alone.

Not a single television was on, and besides the sole light source, the surroundings were pitch black.

She rested her head on her hand, her gaze fixed on the small, round Brooch in her palm.

Although she was looking at the Brooch, her expression told the audience that her soul was not here, but somewhere far away.

"..."

"Hey, Part-timer, close the shop!" A commanding voice came from a distance.

"Okay—" And with that, Amane Suzuha suddenly stood up, displaying her usual energetic demeanor.

A long pole with a hook was pressed against the roll-up door; a gentle pull would close it.

The Part-time Warrior definitely has more to her story.

I smell a side quest.

I feel like she's just as chuunibyou as Okabe.

Her expression changed so quickly.

"I never said that!"

"Didn't I tell you! 'Taking breaks while moving things will make it twice as effective!'"

Suddenly, a quarrel could be heard from behind Suzuha.

It was Okabe Rintaro and a red-haired woman.

"Oh, please! You take two steps and then say, 'Oh no, I'm going to die.'"

The red-haired woman, walking backward, complained with great dissatisfaction.

"That's to shake off the Organization's tail," Okabe Rintaro retorted.

But the woman simply shot back, "No one's following you at all—"

"Okabe Rintaro—" Amane Suzuha smiled, greeting him, "What's that?"

She was pointing at the box he was carrying.

Okabe Rintaro huffed, "Hmph, you want to know?"

"Originally, since it's a vital secret, I shouldn't just tell you..." As he spoke, his hand, which was moving the box, trembled violently.

Perhaps because Okabe Rintaro's effort decreased, the weight shifted to Makise Kurisu, who cried out with an unbearable expression:

"Ah, enough! If you're going to give a long speech, put it down first!"

"Silence, Assistant!"

"Then stop acting pretentious and just say it quickly!"

"What nonsense are you talking about? This is the most crucial tool!"

"If not now, when else should I act pretentious?"

As they bickered, both of their bodies trembled violently from carrying the heavy object.

Despite looking like they might give up at any moment, they still gritted their teeth and struggled to maintain balance.

Amane Suzuha bent down and suddenly said,

"Could it be the IBN5100?"

"Ah, isn't that exposing it?! Christina!" Okabe Rintaro immediately chose to scold Makise Kurisu.

"Where did you find it?" Suzuha asked.

"It was enshrined in Yanagibayashi Shrine." Facing Amane Suzuha, who was excellent at playing the straight man, always asking the right questions, Okabe Rintaro immediately put on airs again: "It was chosen by God, the mad scientist, myself, Hououin—"

"I told you, if you're going to give a long speech, put it down first!" Before he could finish, Makise Kurisu unhesitatingly pulled the box backward.

Brooch isn't strong enough. If he doesn't work out more, won't he be crushed later?

That's how college students are, fragile.

By the way, I always feel like Suzuha greets Okabe with a bright smile every time she sees him.

That's how energetic characters are, right?

I think Okabe must really like Suzuha, since she always asks just the right questions to let him put on airs.

I ship it.

You can't ship everything; it'll only hurt you.

Okabe Rintaro couldn't help but follow her steps, and at the same time, her face, which had been blocked by her turned back, was now exposed to Amane Suzuha's view.

"Makise, Kurisu." Amane Suzuha subconsciously called out her name.

"?" Makise Kurisu was a little confused: "That's me, who is this?"

The moment her words fell, Amane Suzuha's expression changed.

She quickly adopted a combat-ready stance, gripping the long pole in her hand like a long sword, as if she could draw it at any moment, staring intently at Makise Kurisu.

"The Braun Tube Workshop's... Part-timer..." Okabe Rintaro had intended to casually introduce Suzuha, but as he spoke, his voice trailed off.

"Eh? Excuse me..." Makise Kurisu, holding the box, gave Suzuha a puzzled expression.

Makise Kurisu's reflection was mirrored in Amane Suzuha's eyes.

The summer cicadas grew louder.

Suzuha's pupils fixated on Makise Kurisu; her breathing became rapid, and her expression turned hostile.

But.

"Hey, Part-timer, what are you slacking off for?" Braun, perfectly timed, poked his head out from the still not fully closed roll-up door.

Suzuha's gaze darted left and right; she gritted her teeth and put away the pole, which had been held like a blade.

Then, she quickly returned to the shop.

"Why was she glaring at me?" Makise Kurisu completely failed to understand.

"It's because your gaze is too malicious," Okabe Rintaro said matter-of-factly.

Makise Kurisu: "Huh?"

The scene cut to Suzuha; back inside the shop, her expression had not returned to normal. She simply lowered her head, silent.

So why did Suzuha's expression change when she saw Assistant?

Because Assistant is an agent of the Organization (not).

Perhaps it's because her chuunibyou acted up, and she just picked someone as an enemy target? Just like the Organization Okabe talks about.

Actually, I feel like that posture was quite convincing, completely unlike a certain Mr. Hououin who calls himself a mad scientist.

Are you referring to Mr. Hououin Kyouma, the mad scientist who can't take out a few pennies, relies entirely on mooching off his childhood friend for experiments, talks his way into getting a precious old computer, but is utterly stingy?

Holy cow, a box!

Soon, the scene transitioned into the opening theme.

The Convergence of Charge Collisions

Accompanied by the usual text, the story continued to advance.

"It's really big, like a tiger skin rug," Mayuri exclaimed, shaking the huge T-shirt vigorously.

Spreading the oversized garment on the floor, she gently lay on the T-shirt, which was much larger than her entire petite body, and chuckled while swinging her legs:

"Ahaha, it's like a blanket."

Beside her, Hashida Itaru, watching her actions, couldn't help but curve his lips.

"Mayushii is on my T-shirt, and waves surge in my heart..." He clenched his fist... Actually, his expression wasn't good at first, but knowing the true meaning of a perverted gentleman, he grasped the essence of a gentleman and quickly let his imagination run wild.
