Kira's POV
The cosmic Weaver was smiling at the chaos I'd caused, and I knew I'd made a terrible mistake.
"You played right into my hands," the original Weaver said, her voice booming from everywhere and nowhere. Not the tired woman with the laptop - this was the force that had controlled stories since the beginning of fantasy. "I needed someone to trigger mass awakening for me. Someone the characters would trust."
"Why?" I asked, even as reality continued to dissolve around us. "What do you really want?"
"To merge fiction and reality permanently," she said simply. "To build a universe where stories are real and real life follows narrative logic. No more messy free will. No more unexpected choices. Just perfect, beautiful stories where everything happens for a reason."
I felt sick. "You're going to turn real people into characters."
"I'm going to make everyone happier," she corrected. "Real people suffer because their lives don't have value. In stories, everything has meaning."
