Chapter 10 - Chapter 110 – The Hall of Blood

As Frostkeeper and the others rush into the main hall of the palace, a grim sight awaits them—hordes of zombie robots swarm the chamber, tearing into the soldiers. Many bodies already lie motionless on the ground, the steel floor stained with their blood.

At the center of the chaos, Ravien Drakscar swings his greatsword with raw fury, carving through steel and rotten flesh alike. Each strike cuts multiple foes in half, sparks bursting from their metal bones.

Beside him, Sezelle Otat moves like a shadow, her knives flashing in the dim light. With lightning speed, she slits joints and vital parts of the machines, dismantling them before they can even strike back.

Nathaniel Boston arcs his scythe in wide, merciless sweeps, dragging lines of destruction through the horde. The long blade spins and cleaves, splitting enemies in two with every circular motion.

Behind them, Anastrelle Krysin chants from her grimoire, runes glowing in the air before erupting into blasts of fire and ice. Explosions ripple across the hall, ripping clusters of zombies apart.

The group of heroes charges in—Michi slashes through with his glowing weapon, his forehead mark burning with light. Lior summons controlled bursts of radiant energy, striking down waves in every direction. Kael's fists blaze with crushing power as he smashes the machines into shrapnel. Junia shoots from her bow with grace, piercing through steel skulls in swift strikes. Tieu, nimble and sharp, dances through them, her attacks precise and fatal.

Frostkeeper steps aside, preparing to call the Queen—when suddenly Kitbash arrives, twin daggers glinting as he slices through two zombies in one flowing strike. Kairo Vex follows, sword flashing as he cuts down the swarm beside Ravien. Akihiro, wielding his heavy claymore, smashes through enemy lines, each swing obliterating several at once.

The fight rages on. Steel clashes against steel. Sparks and screams echo through the chamber. The ground shakes under the sheer violence of their struggle, the air heavy with the smell of burning oil and blood.

Then—suddenly—a piercing scream cuts through the hall.

All heads turn.

A severed head crashes onto the floor before Kitbash's feet. It is Akihiro's.

Gasps echo across the room as the body that once fought beside them is tossed aside, torn apart. Standing beyond the mountain of corpses is a girl—her black forehead mark burning like a wound. She commands the zombie horde with a wave of her hand, tearing what remains of Akihiro's body into pieces.
