"Haru Endo?" Akemi gave him a surprised look. "Miyako Endo's son?"
"Yeah," Percival nodded. "Ever since Hitomi and I started working on the art competition project together. He's been giving me these looks and acting weird around me."
Akemi's face twisted in thought. "You mean to say that he seems jealous?"
"Yes," Percival replied. "Just yesterday in the hall, he stopped me out of nowhere, asking questions about Akemi and what we do when we're hanging. He's clearly jealous and doesn't like that we are spending time together."
Akemi's brow furrowed deeply, her fingers tightening on the pen as she pondered to herself. "Haru? Well, he is something of a delinquent isn't he?"
She leaned back, chair groaning, her voice dropping to a steely whisper. "If not for his grandfather's reach and donations he would have been long from this school."
Renji stared at her. "I don't know if you're supposed to be telling me that."
