Chapter 6 - Ritual

Aeris, whose eyes were fixed at the sky of cosmos and the large red moon, suddenly quivered; his body trembled as that eternal echoing sound resonated through his ears.

Like being turned into a faithful dog, robot, or, say, a puppet, without a blink in his eyes, with no movement in his eyeballs, his eyes were still—being wide open.

Without even finding the source of that undeniably supreme and omnipotent-omniscient voice, Aeris knelt down with one knee completely resting on the floor and another straight with Aeris's hand on it. It was like bowing down before a king or a powerful figure.

But Aeris wasn't doing all this by hypnosis or any type of magical effect on him. It was just a pure respect given by every spiritual lumen, every living part present inside his body, to their creator, their origin.

[Lumen—Spiritual matter is created from lumen, like an atom creates physical matter.]

Like a slave obeying and respecting his creator or his master for eternity.

No matter who would be there in place of Aeris, he must do the same Aeris did. Any being, gods, neutralities, even Supremes—they must bow in front of their creator, theirfather.

Why be shocked or doubtful? If a child is giving his respect to his beloved father, it's pretty normal. Even if eternity passed, Father will still be Father!

Aeris's body was shaking from both inside and outside, but he was all numb. It wasn't his actual body; it was all happening inside his thoughts, mind. Aeris' eyes were fixed on the floor.

In front of him, after a few long and wide stairs, no longer royal as they were all broken, with cracks everywhere, there was a large long throne. Everything present there had a black tint, except the throne, which was still like new and royal, as someone was still sitting there.

Behind the throne at a distance, there was a monument or a statue of a godlike figure. It was so grand and large that it looked like the statue and throne were attached, touching each other.

Touching? Yeah, but the throne wasn't even of a height that it could be seen above the foot of the statue. Its rusty and blackened color was indicating his ancientness, like being older than time itself. With six large hands, 3 on the left and 3 on the right, it has three eyes, looking straight with a vacant expression. This monument was from the birth of time and will last until the death of time.

Hands weren't empty; each one was carrying a different meaning. Above two limbs, one with a black orb or sphere, it was representing the multiverse itself. Left one with one finger raised, it seemed a chakra or a circular plate with 24 sharp edges fixed around the finger. It represented eternal time rotating and repeating itself.

While the two middle limbs, the left one was carrying a large black chain, which was hanging down, representing the curse, seal, death, impurity, and envy. The right one had a lotus representing boon, freedom, life, purity, and satisfaction.

Lower ones carried weapons. Sword in right hand and gada in left hand.

[Gada—It's a Hindi-origin word, which means a weapon in which a wide rod is present with a sphere or orb attached to the top of the rod. It is usually of gold.]

While on the throne...

He was in a noble outfit, a long obsidian-black robe lined with threads of molten gold. His head tilted slightly, his chin resting on one hand, fingers brushing against his cheek in a bored but dangerous way. Another hand resting on the throne, his right leg rests over his left knee, casually draped, showing complete ease and supreme confidence.

He was crowned like a king, with an iridescent string rotating and floating simultaneously above and around the golden crown. This string represented the timeline of all multiverses.

His shining pure white hairs, a little longer, touching his collars from behind. His radiating blue eyes, a little closed and sleepy, gazing over Aeris. While the third one in the center of his forehead was different.

It has no eyeball; there is infinite darkness inside the deep wound. That eyeball that was missing was that red moon that was gazing over all multiverses, watching everyone, everything.

So that red moon wasn't a moon actually; it was his eyeball floating in the endless cosmos.

Silence... broken once again by the father himself with a smirk. But he was pretty young, maybe 23 or 25.

"A human..."

His voice was so cold, slow, and heavy but still soft, carrying infinite authority.

"Boy, you are the first awareness who has crossed my expectations. I see..."

"The time has come, the end of the 10th destructive year. The war against cosmos is close. Time will repeat itself once again; everything will be destroyed and will start once again."

His eyes weren't seeing what was in front of him, but the future itself. His every word was all-knowing, with an unbreakable confidence and surety in tons, like he saw everything, felt everything, and lived everything already.

"But this time..."

"Something will be different. Something will carve an eternal mark on time itself."

With a pause, he continued.

"Always repeating the same cycle of time is going to break. That's why it's interesting."

"Your ability to absorb doesn't have any single supreme energy; it can take any type of. So you fall in my hands, as I am everything; every type of energy is in me."

He removes his hand from his chin, also the leg. Straightening his body, he made both his hands rest on the throne.

"I am excited. After a long gap of 9 destructive years, my real power will surge within me. I will leave this throne."

A smile was emerging over his face, little by little with every word.

"Your powers will bring an end to my eternal boring life. My own child will fight me."

"But will you be able to reach me? Can you pass through these infinite multiverses to reach me?"

The smile was now finally formed over his face.

"I am accepting you as my neutrality."

As these words came into existence, coming out of his mouth, the ritual ended.

And the deep slumber of Aeris was broken.

Three days passed in deep sleep, and now the ritual was also ended. But Aeris didn't even have any hint about what happened with him in these three days. But he still remembered that cosmic sky.

Aeris opened his eyes slowly; the blue sky was coming into view slowly. He started to feel the cold water under him and the sound of waves and water. And the heat of the bright sun shining directly above his face.

Opening his eyes slowly, he put his hands on his eyes, blocking direct rays of sunlight.

A sweet, soft voice came into his ears. It was so lovely.

"Do you want any help??"

Aeris saw a shadow of a girl, her long hair flowing in the air.
