Chapter 14 - Chapter 13 The Perfect Young Lady Who Is Ignorant of the World

The girl standing in front of Kazuo was clearly wearing the same light blue uniform of the academy as everyone else, but she had an indescribable sense of refinement.

Her soft and smooth hair was tied behind her head with a red and white ribbon. Although he couldn't see her face, her back view and the way she stood gave people the impression that she was a young lady who had walked out of a medieval European castle.

In addition to her jade-like neck that was like ice and condensed fat, Kazuo couldn't help but stare at the back of her neck that she revealed.

No wonder the people of the country think that a woman's nape is the sexiest —

Extending her beautiful neck, her fair skin was exposed,

Like a flower on a high mountain in an empty valley, gracefully standing.

However, she was clearly in trouble at this time.

"Hmm…"

The girl had been hesitating for almost half a minute, staring blankly at the menu on the display board, motionless like a piece of art, seemingly unaware that it was her turn to order.

"Have you decided what you'd like to order?"

The cashier couldn't help but ask.

The girl, as if having made up her mind, nodded emphatically.

"That one!"

She raised her hand, filled with both apprehension and anticipation.

"Oh, excuse me, could you please change this for me?" A Trainer, looking like an uncle, walked directly to the counter and handed over the ticket for picking up food. "This was printed incorrectly; I noted that I wanted extra soup, extra sauce, no green onions, and an egg."

The cashier took the ticket, apologized repeatedly, and then typed on the keyboard again, handing him the newly printed ticket.

And the girl—

She seemed frozen, her thoughts halted, her raised little hand looking utterly out of place.

What did that gentleman just say? Was it Japanese? Or some kind of spell? Why didn't the ordering process she had rehearsed for so long match up?

The ultimate young lady, an absolute noble international student from Ireland, was now in a crisis.

Just as the girl's brain completely crashed,

"Excuse me, are you trying to order this?"

Kazuo stepped out from the side, pointing at the menu on the table as he asked.

But just that unintentional glance at the girl nearly stopped his breath.

Perhaps due to mixed heritage, the girl's skin was incredibly fair and delicate, her eyes sparkled and were translucent like light green agate gemstones, and when the perfect beauty pursed her lips, two faint dimples appeared.

A graceful beauty, that was the only thought in his mind.

The girl paused slightly when she met Kazuo's gaze, then seemed to react and nodded gently.

Kazuo had already noticed that the girl seemed to be staring at that item. After getting her answer, Kazuo looked at the cashier and said:

"Excuse me, could you please order one for her, a cold soba noodle with tamago gohan set meal."

Then he looked at the girl for confirmation, "Is there anything else you'd like to add?"

This seemed to remind the girl, and she excitedly raised her hand again, "Yes! Large portion, extra flavor, heavy taste!!"

Then, both Kazuo and the cashier were stunned.

However, Kazuo reacted quickly, immediately leaning over and whispering, "This is a set meal, you can't choose the portion size. The requests you just made can only be used at ramen shops."

"Eh, really?"

The girl replied blankly, an image of a naive young lady, Kazuo couldn't help but think.

"Excuse me, that was rude of me."

But with Kazuo's reminder, the girl also realized the problem, gently lowered her head, and apologized shyly and very politely:

"Please do as this gentleman said, thank you."

Although the cashier was a bit embarrassed, she still maintained her professional demeanor, smiled, and quickly typed on the keyboard, then pressed a few numbers on the card-swiping machine nearby.

"Okay, that will be 1,200 yen in total."

The girl turned around very shyly and bowed to Kazuo, thanking him: "I'm truly sorry for troubling you. If you don't mind, please allow me to pay for your meal as well."

Saying that, she directly took out a card from her person and handed it over.

"Card payment."

Kazuo was about to politely refuse, but a closer look almost made his eyes pop out.

Good heavens, the card the girl held was not the light green meal card issued uniformly by the school, but a black bank card with gold lettering and a lion emblem.

This also startled the cashier: "Th-that, excuse me, we don't have a POS machine here, so we can't process card payments."

"Eh? I remember being told that card payments were possible…"

Kazuo quickly stepped in front of the girl and handed over the meal card Koji had given him, then forced a smile and said to the girl:

"It's nothing, if it's alright, let me treat you to this meal, shall I?"

Before a bigger commotion could arise—

"Hello, here is your meal ticket. Please wait by the side to pick up your food."

The cashier nervously handed the meal ticket to the girl with both hands. After receiving the meal ticket, the girl seemed like a happy child, her cheeks flushed with excitement, her eyes sparkling like little stars.

"Thank you so much."

"You're welcome, you're welcome…"

After seeing off the young lady, who seemed to have a flower-blossom effect behind her as she left with the meal ticket, Kazuo also composed himself slightly.

"Then, excuse me, I'd like a medium spicy curry with a mixed vegetable salad."

"Oh… Okay, got it. That will be 1,000 yen in total."

Holding the meal ticket, he walked towards that area, only to find the girl standing there as if waiting for him.

When she saw Kazuo approaching, she smiled even more happily.

"Thank you so much earlier. If you don't mind, I would like to invite you to have lunch with me."

Appearance, temperament, manners—a young lady perfect from head to toe, even a true heiress among young ladies.

However… she was truly a bit lacking in common sense.
