The ruined platform of symbols and stone glew bright before Wiliaquo appeared in the middle of the platform. The air felt thick and difficult to breathe in, but it was now or never.
Monse: She took in a deep breath before standing up and walking over towards the ruins. She halted as soon as Wiliaquo spotted her, "Hi Wiliaquo...I am assuming you came by to talk about my weird actions lately."
Wiliaquo: "Yeah, I just came by to try and understand what was going on."
Monse: "Before I say anything, you had a lovely show on your world, so don't think it's that at all."
Wiliaquo: He rubbed his arm, "Yeah, I figured that much, but I am here to actually ask something else. I- I have to know if you-"
Monse: "Yes, I have feelings for you."
Wiliaquo: His eyes widened, a blue colored blush brightly forming across his face. "I- Uhm- That's not how I would have worded it- Uhm..." Embarrassment was overtaking him.
Monse: "Please, just hear me out for one minute." She took a deep breath, her fingers tapping rapidly on the table top. "I know that this will be difficult for you, and even if you don't feel the same way, I need to tell you this because I couldn't keep it locked up any longer."
"How we live, the restrictions we're under, it's smothering, and it's not good for my heart," she whispered to him, resting on her forearms a little, her voice tremulous. "When I'm gazing at you, I sense this feeling of fluttering in my chest, something that I cannot help." She breathed, running a hand through her own hair as if collecting their thoughts.
"I won't let Valkun's edicts dictate my feelings. So, here it is. I love you, so very much, and I can no longer deny it. I just had to say it." Her eyes met with Wiliaquo's, vulnerable but expecting, as the power of her words hung in the air between them.
Wiliaquo: He took a deep breath, letting her words embrace him. For a moment, he looked down at his hands as if tallying centuries of duty against one truth of the heart. When his gaze rose again, it had lost its edge, carrying warmth that was for her alone.
"Monse. I came here to tell you that I, too, have carried this burden in silence because of Valkun. If what you are willing to speak is forbidden, then let me be guilty along with you."
Monse: She shot him a surprised look, "You have?"
Wiliaquo: "A while back, I talked to Eartakiel about it, and he told me to shut it down or else Valkun would take action. I have been having to keep everything silent about it for some time. I guess that you're coming to my planet and having that open spark is...Fate."
The two leaned forward, placing their hands together, their elemental forces swirling together, intertwining. "I love you too, Monse..."
Sophi: She stood back, hiding behind a couple of trees, smiling a bit as they confessed. Her eyes shot back behind her, she slouched down a bit, flustered and embarrassed, "Y-yes, I'm coming back.."
