Tiffany: She appeared on the platform that WIliaquo and Monse stood on, tears streaming down her face. "M-Mom..."
Monse: "TIFFANY!" She pulled her daughter into a tight hug, checking her for any kind of injuries. "Thank goodness you are okay! How did you get to us?"
Wiliaquo: He poked his head out from behind Monse, "Yeah, how did you get here?"
Tiffany: Tears dripped off her chin as she recalled the final moments, "There was still a piece of Eartakiel left inside of Valkun...I called out Star's name, and the idea to call Eartakiel from within Valkun just popped into my head out of sheer hope."
Monse: She stared down at the ground, her expression softening to sadness, "...Even in the end, after all of this, he still chose to save someone."
Wiliaquo: "Wait..." The two of them turned towards him, "What happened to the rest of her planet..."
Tiffany: Her eyes filled again. "He blew it all up, Mom. He has been taking small shards of each element to crown people he sees fit to rule, but not until he kills all of us."
Monse: "Then we need to leave now." She peered out towards the endless horizon, her reflection visible in the faint glow of burning debris meandering through the void. "If he's going after us one by one, we can't be in one place for too long.
Wiliaquo: "Eartakiel told us to find someone named Ziliari, but without a runic gateway, it would take us ages to get anywhere in this blasted timeline." He stared off into the abyss as well, trying to think of some plan.
Tiffany: She sat down, feeling the water and wind platform beneath her legs, "What about Alces? Could we use his gateway?"
Wiliaquo: He shook his head, "Bringing ourselves to Alces would put him in danger. Valkun might not be dumb enough to attack his tree, but we can't risk getting Alces hurt. He connects to too much life; without him, timelines could collapse."
Monse: She looked between them, her expression tightening as the faint glow of firelight from the shattered horizon reflected in her eyes. "Then we move without gateways. We find Ziliari ourselves. If Eartakiel believed they could help, then that's where our hope lies."
Wiliaquo: "How do we know that Valkun can't just find us immediately?"
Tiffany: She looked at their wrists, "What about those bracelets?"
Monse: She lifted her arm, looking down at her own wrist, "What about them, sweetheart?"
Tiffany: "He could be using those to track your elemental signature, and besides, maybe this Ziliari person made them. We could use the raw materials to origin search his exact location."
The two looked at each other, taking off their own bracelets, feeling a sense of ease as their powers felt freer within their forms. The glowing runes on their bracelets slowly dimmed, "See? Feel better?"
Wiliaquo: He exhaled deeply, feeling a weight lift off of his form, "I definitely feel freer, that's for sure...So, how exactly are we supposed to use these to track Ziliari?"
Tiffany: She raised an eyebrow, "Use your element to track where it came from?"
Wiliaquo: "Huh?" He stared down at it, his wind powers suddenly pulling the bracelet hard; the platform they stood on was being pulled through the abyss of space, flying past everything.
