Chapter 55 - 55

You're… my new cellmate?"

Michael Scofield gently furrowed his melancholic brows.

To be honest, even if Agent Li Chengfeng was a straight man, he couldn't help but praise this face when he saw it…

This face, crafted from ten different nationalities, was truly not something to be scoffed at.

"Hello, hello, I haven't had a chance to introduce myself yet." Li Chengfeng stepped forward, shaking the other party's hand with both of his, "Li Chengfeng, I was sent in because I killed two people."

"A murderer…"

Scofield looked at the sunny, cheerful young man in front of him, his eyes filled with doubt.

No matter how he looked at it, this didn't seem like the demeanor a murderer would display, right?

Unless this person had never considered killing to be a bad thing.

"Impossible, a murderer who killed two people should at least be in the high-security section."

"I'm ashamed, I'm ashamed, it's my fault I didn't get into the high-security section." Li Chengfeng looked remorseful, "It's all because I had too much money, so I was only sentenced to five years."

You're ashamed!

Even someone as deep-thinking as Scofield couldn't help but open his mouth, wanting to say something, but ultimately swallowed it back.

He had already keenly sensed that the person in front of him seemed to be in an abnormal mental state.

I hope he doesn't ruin my plan!

In this somewhat strange prison, even a tiny bit of resistance would require several, or even a dozen, times the cost to resolve.

"Then let's get along well." Scofield showed a very perfunctory fake smile.

But Li Chengfeng seemed to completely misunderstand the atmosphere, leaning close to Scofield and whispering:

"I already know the truth of the matter!"

No!

Are you insane!

Scofield forcibly suppressed the urge to punch his new cellmate in the face.

What the hell do you know!

Did you miss out on internet surfing?

Throwing out such old memes!

Formal admission to the prison was during yard time, which was between noon and one o'clock in the afternoon.

And for the rest of the day, Li Chengfeng was like a shadow, a spirit following him everywhere.

Although he didn't directly sit next to Scofield, Li Chengfeng's presence was always within five steps.

And from beginning to end, Li Chengfeng maintained a polite and gentle smile; ordinary people would feel like they were basking in a spring breeze.

But in the eyes of Scofield and the Lincoln brothers, it only felt creepy.

"Damn it! What does this lunatic mean? Should I just kill him? Just burn him to ashes!"

"Listen to what you just said! Lincoln Burrows!"

Scofield looked at Lincoln with a soothing gaze, but his words didn't sound like a good younger brother who would go to prison to save his older brother.

Instead, it sounded more like a superior reprimanding a subordinate.

And when he called his older brother by his full name, he deliberately emphasized it.

Hearing his younger brother call him by his full name, Lincoln instead calmed down.

But the anger and brutality in his eyes were impossible to hide.

He really wanted to burn that Republic Person named Li Chengfeng to ashes!

But thinking about why they came to this prison, he could only forcibly endure it.

And this scene was not only seen by Li Chengfeng…

It was also displayed on the large screen of the airborne mobile command center.

Ingrid Hannigan and Skye, who had completely taken over all the electronic equipment of Fox River Prison, operated the airborne terminals, simultaneously recording everything that happened under each camera.

And the entire Coulson Team was currently sitting in front of the screen, watching the entire process of Li Chengfeng's mission.

"Even with Agent Li Chengfeng's strength, in a completely unknown environment, playing the role of a disguised identity is very important." Agent Phil Coulson kept his eyes on the screen, but spoke to the team members behind him with earnest instruction.

"Remember, you are not reckless soldiers, nor are you lone vigilantes, and even less are you Superheroes in tight suits flying high and low, but an FBI agent… Completing the mission and neutralizing the threat is the top priority."

The team members did not answer, but heard a righteous voice from behind.

"That's right, kids, use your strength wisely, but don't rely on it too much."

Everyone turned their heads.

They saw a blonde young man in a leather jacket walking towards them.

Who is he?

Coulson's team members exchanged glances, feeling a tiny bit of familiarity…

But they still couldn't recognize him.

But Agent Phil Coulson straightened his body, instantly sprang from his chair, his right hand repeatedly raising, lowering, and then extending forward…

He no longer knew whether to shake hands or salute.

"Idol… Oh no, Officer, welcome back."

"I'm not an Officer, I'm just an ignorant young man who woke up from the ice… Call me Steve."

Captain America Steve Rogers was not wearing his iconic battle suit, nor was he carrying that Vibranium shield.

He just came to Coulson and sat down empty-handed.

Then he turned around and solemnly shook hands with Melinda May.

"I heard you were an Agent personally recruited into the Federal Bureau of Investigation by Peggy Carter?"

"Yes, Officer, I was exceptionally recruited into the Federal Bureau of Investigation by Director Carter when I was seven."

"In a few days, will you accompany me to visit Peggy Carter?"

"As you wish."

Even the usually aloof Melinda May showed great respect for Steve Rogers…

Director Fury and Agent Phil Coulson didn't get this treatment!

But just by looking at his face, one couldn't tell that Captain America was once the greatest hero of all America; those who didn't know might think he was some celebrity who had run off somewhere.

"Alright… Steve! You just woke up, you haven't fully adapted to present-day society yet, have you?"

After Captain America sat down, Agent Phil Coulson also hurriedly sat beside him.

The Coulson Team was not present when Captain America woke up.

Facing Captain America, who had woken up with his body restored to its peak, Agent Phil Coulson led dozens of field Agents, chasing and persuading him, until Captain America believed that everything in front of him was not a HYDRA brainwashing illusion.

He had also witnessed a man who had truly endured hardships on the battlefield…

He could really curse.

They had also witnessed Wolverine's unrestrained trash talk, but compared to him, Captain America was even more intense.

Cursing HYDRA, killing HYDRA, had become an instinct ingrained in Captain America's bones.

"If I'm not mistaken, the man on the screen is Li Chengfeng, whom Director Fury has always mentioned, right?"

"That's right, he's the one who dug you out of the Arctic glacier." Agent Phil Coulson introduced Li Chengfeng to Captain America, "Twenty-five years old, an Agent specially seconded by Director Fury from the Republic General Bureau. He's currently the best Agent in the entire Federal Bureau of Investigation, bar none."

"Is he on an undercover mission?"

"The reason for the Agent's amnesia was unknown before, so we decided to conduct an undercover infiltration."

"Very wise. Sometimes, solving problems with your mind is faster than crushing them with terrifying power… Wait, what is he doing?"

As he spoke, Li Chengfeng pretended to pass by and went behind Lincoln Burrows…

He reached out and touched his bald head.

As if polishing an egg.

"Dry and rough! Wrinkled and scaly!"

"Rub it!"
