Chapter 41 - IBIDS Chapter 41: The Burial Game: Aoyama's Masterful Manipulation

Inosuke couldn't possibly listen to Tanjiro's words.

Now, in his eyes, Takeshi was a rare opponent he had encountered, and he had to compete to determine who was better.

Having just finished fighting not long ago, Takeshi didn't mind moving his hands and feet again, teaching this guy a lesson.

With a flying pounce, Inosuke Hashibira suddenly pounced onto Takeshi's shoulders. Takeshi prepared to grab his clothes and perform an over-the-shoulder throw.

Unfortunately, this guy wasn't wearing a shirt at all!

Stunned for a moment, seeing that his fist was about to come at his face, Takeshi reached out a hand, wrapping his palm around his fist.

"Haha, interesting!"

A smile appeared on Takeshi's lips. "The interesting part is still coming!"

One hand grabbed his fist, and the other grabbed his waistband, exerting force with both arms at the same time, pulling the person off his shoulders.

Then, with a forceful throw outwards, thud, Inosuke was thrown five meters away.

The two people's fight made Zenitsu on the side sigh. "So powerful! Even though Senior Aoyama broke his ribs, his movements are still so fast."

"Hey, hey, hey, Tanjiro, with this, Senior Aoyama has also violated the rules, right?"

Being asked this by Zenitsu, Tanjiro touched the back of his head. This, did it count? It should count as a violation, right...

The kind-hearted Shoichi used his handkerchief to wipe the blood flowing from Zenitsu's nose.

Takeshi, with a raised foot, kicked, hitting Inosuke's shoulder, knocking the person to the ground, not forgetting to turn his head to say to the two people, "This doesn't violate it~ He and I, at most, are just sparring!"

"Sparring!"

"Sparring?"

Tanjiro and Zenitsu said in unison. He could actually explain it like that, amazing, my Senior Aoyama, silently giving a thumbs up in his heart.

Seeing that the two people wouldn't be able to finish for a while, Tanjiro took the children and Zenitsu to dig a pit, preparing to bury the tragically dead boy outside.

Takeshi saw that Inosuke's energy wouldn't be exhausted for a while, so he simply stopped.

Knowing that he just wanted to compete with him, even if he had a lot of energy, he didn't need to spend it on accompanying a boar head here!

"Hey, did you see Tanjiro and the others burying the dead? Why don't we change the way we compete!"

Inosuke's feet rubbed two marks on the ground, finally stopping his body, asking, "What kind of competition?"

Seeing that the person had already taken the bait, a smile appeared on Takeshi's lips, nodding. "Let me explain the competition items. There are still many dead people killed by demons in the house, we'll compete to see who buries more people, whoever does will win."

Inosuke, who had lived in the forest since he was a child, thought that burying the bodies of dead wasn't a meaningful or interesting thing.

Seeing him hesitating, Takeshi asked, "What's wrong? You don't want to? If you don't want to, forget it, anyway, you're doomed to lose! I won't compete with you, you can go play wherever you want!"

With his hands behind his head, he pretended to turn and leave.

Lose? How could he lose!

Inosuke Hashibira roared, "You wait! I'll definitely win! However many dead people are in the house, I'll bury that many people! You're doomed to lose."

As soon as he finished speaking, Inosuke Hashibira rushed into the house in a puff of smoke, carrying a dead person out, quickly digging a pit on the ground, filling it with dirt, burying it, placing a stone on top.

The entire process was completed in one go.

"Hahaha, did you see, I've already buried one person!" After saying this, he rushed into the house again.

Takeshi, holding Nezuko's wooden box, sat down under a tree on the side, not intending to move at all.

"Senior Takeshi... why are you..." Since it was a competition, why weren't you moving?

This was the question in Tanjiro's heart, and it was also the question in other people's hearts.

He was the one who said they were competing, and he was the one who was resting instead!

"Hey, don't you guys just stand there, rest if you need to rest, do what you need to do."

It was daytime, and Nezuko couldn't come out, so Takeshi could only close his eyes and rest, letting Inosuke Hashibira run back and forth, digging pits and burying people.

While doing these things, he also laughed at Takeshi, saying that he was doomed to lose.

The few of them squatted down in front of Takeshi, staring at each other with wide eyes.

Takeshi suddenly opened his eyes, asking, "Do you guys know how to play Dou Dizhu? Mahjong? Or roll dice?"

Everyone just shook their heads and did nothing else, so Takeshi had to give up on these things that could pass the time.

The sun gradually set little by little.

Inosuke Hashibira finally buried the last person, putting his hands on his hips, laughing loudly in front of Takeshi.

"Hahahaha, how about it! I won, right? I won, I'm just that strong, that amazing! You lost, you lost, hahahaha!"

"Uh..."

Zenitsu felt that he was praising himself too much, and did this winning or losing even matter?

Having rested well, Takeshi stood up from under the tree, raising his hand to pat Inosuke Hashibira's shoulder, saying faintly, "Congratulations! You buried so many people, truly amazing."

Finally hearing him say that he had won, and even praising him for being amazing, Inosuke Hashibira didn't feel the kind of joy that he had expected in his heart, instead, there was no joy or excitement.

What exactly is the problem?

"Hey! Can you say 'I won' one more time?" He grabbed Takeshi, not letting him leave.

Takeshi wasn't a petty person. Words, saying a few more wouldn't kill anyone, nodding, saying, "Congratulations! Inosuke Hashibira, in this burial competition, you won excellently."

Inosuke's little pig ears twitched slightly, but he still didn't feel much joy.

Tanjiro sighed. Alas, this Inosuke had fallen for Senior Aoyama's trick, and still hadn't reacted by now. Was he too simple, or just stupid...
