With broad shoulders, a tailored suit that screamed wealth, and a piercing, sharp gaze that made even staff members stiffen, Clara's brother exuded a commanding presence.
For a moment, he completely ignored Noa and only eyed his sister.
Clara, however, didn't seem happy to see him. "Alexander," she greeted flatly. "I wasn't planning to come here. It just happened."
She was polite, yet distant.
Though the resemblance between the siblings was clear, Alexander carried himself with enough chill to freeze the entire room. At the same time, Clara's presence was vibrant and magnetic.
"Still," the man continued, smiling for once. "I am glad to see you here. Especially… with company."
Finally, his gaze shifted to Noa.
The air thickened momentarily.
